The Disney star covered Breakout, a song Perry recorded years ago, for her new album, and Miley even chose that as the title of her record.

Miley has more emotion in her voice… i think Katy's voice just sounds very flat. Plus, you know that Disney put way more work into Miley's single than who ever did Katy's. Don't get me wrong… i LOVE Katy Perry. But, I just think that Miley's is better.

the song sounds better with miley,mostly because the lyrics sound more realistic with miley because miley is 15 and STILL GOES to school and kate is 23! its more of a pre-teen song. so yes.miley did it better.

this song is mileys song katy just sung it as a demo for a record deal then the song was sent to mileys label and they wanted to put it on the first miley cyrus cd but it was too late so they put it on the newest album so miley isn't a bitch and hasnt stolen the song it belongs 100% to miley cyrus. the songwriters are Gina Schock,Ted Bruner& Trey Vittetoe so katy didn't wrote it and katy just want to damage miley cause she didn't wanted to kiss her !!! and that sucks !
