Those look like Psoriasis "scabs", and the disease is horrific. I suffered with it myself, and it took cortizone shots directly to my scalp along with some other pretty humiliating treatments to get it to go away. My hair fell out where the scabs grew, it was horrible. Good luck to him if that's what it is, because it's a real pain in the ass to get rid of.
it is a medical condition called psoriasis it is not gross and it is something that is not always on the outside of the skin….it can be treated but most of the time comes back….esp. with stress….so why dont you try and grow up a little bit people no one is perfect….

It's videligo (sp?). Your skin gets light and blotchy, it's something to do with the melanin in your skin. It tends to run in darker people and is often brought on by stress

I had this problem for a year or so and nothing I did would make it go away. Finally, I started using some of that anti-dandruff shampoo daily, scrubbing, and blowdrying my head and it went away. Now you can't even tell I had it.
I hope he does something about it before it leaves permanent scars.

He has a condition called tinea versicolor - come abut in hot humid weather and causes white spot on skin/head wherever….easy to get rid of with some dandruff shampoo - try Tegrin dandruff shampoo.
