Uncreative Hollywood has ANOTHER sequel is in the works.
Mike Meyers has started writing Austin Powers 4.
The flick will be an homage to Meyers' father, says an insider, "It's very personal with a father and son theme loosely based on his own life."
Meyers has previously said that the fourth installment of Austin Powers will focus on villain Dr. Evil.
So, based on the insider's revelation, it looks like Dr. Evil's son, Scott, will play a huge role in the sequel.
That doesn’t sound too bad. We thought Seth Green was funny as Scott Evil.
What do y’all think about the 4th coming of Austin Powers?

I could go for this. The Austin Power movies are always good for laughs… even if the jokes are a little played out.

Yes! I am excited! Although the Love Guru sucked and Mike Meyers looks mean, I grew up watching Austin Powers! And Seth Green was pretty damn funny as Scott.

It makes me kind of sad! A couple that is good friends of our family owned Mr. Bigglesworth. The day that the mom passed away, the cat got away in the drama of the paramedics/fire/police and has never been found. We hope the best, but that kind of cat is very delicate. So, Dr. Evil wont have the same kitty! Sad!

Austin Powers 4=mistake. Even by the third movie the franchise was dying off and the resplendence of the character was waning. Here is what I think Mike Myers should do…
At the MTV movie awards this year he and Dana Carvey reprised their roles as Wayne and Garth. I was personally really really excited and judging by the audience's reactions, they were too. It is just entertaining to see Wayne and Garth comment on events in the 2000s the same way that they did in the early 90s, and making a Wayne's World movie in present day would go over very well. I am waiting for it Mr. Myers.

AP 1 & 2 were funny as hell. The first 5 minutes of AP3 was good, but the rest was full of cliches, and sucked hardcore. They took the funny jokes of AP 1 & 2, brushed them off, and reused them.
They went downhill big time with AP3. They need to stop now.

Mike Myers (the actual spelling "Perez"… not "Meyers", did you graduate from high school? Sometimes I wonder with your spelling). Myers is a FOOL if he gives his "public" another Austin Powers movie before the third (and final) "Wayne's World" film. Hurry Mike (and the powers that be, backing him)!!! Do the final "Wayne's World" before you and Carvey get too old to do it justice! The recent MTV appearance should be enough of a catalyst to get the old "Wayne's World" juices flowing!
By the way, it's no surprise that Myers and his backers are returning to the well after such a disappointing, horrible response to the (gag-reflex-inducing) "The Love Guru" (yikes!!!)

didn't rate the third austin powers at all. it depended too much on having a few A list celebs and not enough on the characters and script. Let's hope Myers is back to the roots on the new one. we badly need a decent, intelligent comedy out of Hollywood.
