Today in the paper they went into detail about it, its rather disturbing on a deeper level to know details. I'm still sickened that people are capable of something like this. And its not just here, it happen all over the world as well, which is sick and disgusting. What bugs me is how the sicko is going to be dealt with. You know as well as I do your punishment is reduced if you aer found to be mentally disabled. This man will spend the rest of his life in a psyche ward never getting the true justice of what he deserves, which will do nothing to ease the suffering of the victims family who deserve justice. This man will go the rest of his life believing he did nothing wrong, if he remembers doing it at all. But when you hear the details from the witnesses, it is sick the way he acted, hell, i even read that he ate some of the flesh! The thing that bugs me the most though is how unprovoked this was, knowing a complete stranger can sit beside you and suddenly turn on you for no reason. What the fuck was going on in his head? He wanted the window seat? From the sounds of it the bus was more than half full as well. No, I simply have a hard time believing someone is capable of so much malice without being provoked, its sick. And people wonder why I travel around with self defense weapons.
my step uncle was the bus driver on this. Its insane, supposidely he was questioned like crazy after the incident, he is pretty badly shooken up. I could never drive a bus again after an incident like that
My co-worker was describing this horror story yesterday and I thought she was talking about a sick movie. My stomach turns at the horror of this story and the poor man that died such a greusome death.

If you read the article at all and paid even the slightest bit of attention to what you were reading, you'd know that it was late at night, so most people were sleeping, and before Tim woke up and scream, he'd already been stabbed at least twice, if not more. The fatal wound had probably already been given.
I commend Caton for screaming to people to get off the bus. If they had stayed on and tried to help Tim (who was probably already dead at the time) we would have had a larger tragedy on our hands than we do now.
Also, if you read closely, Caton, the bus driver and a truck driver who stopped to help, went back onto the bus very shortly after to try to help Tim, but when they got on, Li was already in the process of decapatation.
They then got off the bus (some reports say that Li came at them and tried to swipe at them with his knife, where they then locked him in, after which he went to the back and finished decapatating Tim) and were able to keep him there due to quick thinking on the bus drivers behalf at locking down the bus so her couldn't leave, until the cops came.
Everyone can go and say "what they'd do" but unless you were one of the passengers and in that SPECIFIC situation, keep your mouth shut.

had an illness of some sort to do something so random like this.

he asked for it off so he could go back to his Charleswood home.
This is one of the most shocking this i've ever heard of.

Ive been following this since it happened. my heart goes out to Tim and his family. This is with out a doubt the most horrific crime/act of violence I've ever heard of. The mexicans aren't the reason why there is so much violence and corruption in the U.S., not even close. Even if we could we wouldn't let 20 million people just walk their ass across the border. There's a reason why countries all over the world love canadians, and despise americans. I'll leave it at that..
Re: ALEX – Canada's police don't resolve to shooting criminals like America does. Canada also doesn't have the large amount of racism that America has. The American police also don't just shoot people because of their race, they shoot criminals not random people minding their own business.

I have read evey post on here and those disrespectful a**holes who are calling the passengers on the bus COWARDS and people who say 'I would have…' or 'why didn't they…' can go straight to hell with Vince Li (the killer) WE the passengers on that bus did everything we could if u haven't been in the exact same situation shut the F*CK up. Ive been following this since it happened. my heart goes out to Tim and his family. This is with out a doubt the most horrific crime/act of violence I've ever heard of. I hope the killer gets what he deserves. From what I've read the killer is Asian and has only been in Canada for 2-3 years. Not saying that race has anything to do with it but.. Just goes to show you that it could have happened anywhere. This guy could have moved to any country…and done this to anyone. sigh… so sad.
And to all the Americans bashing Canada… answer me this. If you're so proud of your country, why is it when ever you travel the majority of you put CANADIAN flags on your luggage? A while ago some friends of mine went to Italy, they were on a train.. and their seat mate would not talk to them and gave them dirty looks until one of them mentioned Canada in their conversation. The ppl then looked at them and said "you guys are Canadian?? great.. we thought you were American" lmao just goes to show you that we arn't that much different form you (if they thought just by looking at them that that they were American) and… also.. hows it feel to be the most hated country in the world? lmao ppl wont even talk to you. One of these days the "great US of A" will fall… its only a matter of time till the world gets sick of ur shit.
