See no, that was the hottest mess. Don't get me wrong though, Solange isn't an ugly girl…but she DOES need to bow out the game/stay off the stage and take care of that baby. (How you doin'?!) As for Charlotte, she can blow…just not this genre of music. Stick with the classical/orchestral compilations boo. Wasn't cute ladies, wasn't cute.

That was awful. Absolutely awful. For that kind of song, they should have left out the "soulful" sounds. Solange, BORING. Is she trying to steal Kelly Rowland's Spotlight? You know, Kelly, too, is in London.And she can sing. Just needs to find herself and her nitch.

When Charlotte was preggers she gained so much weight I thought she's never get it off. She was beginning to look like she should be having triplets.
I'm pleasantly surprised that she looks fairly in shape and thinner (hard to tell in that cut of dress, especially with it being black) But good for her. Just having babies isn't a good excise to get flabby.

im an american girl livin it up in england and ive seen the charlotte church show. it is AWFUL. not just bad for a celebrity talk show. its ridiculously bad for any show. her opening monologue is her singing an "hilarious" roundup of the news…its just bad in everyway. her interviews are cringeworthy as well!
Their voices are impressive however, hands down to Charlotte though!!The overall song is pretty eh-blah…yawn.

Not a fan of the Wig Crypt, but Solange is really impressing me with this latest effort. I may not buy but I am impressed. Then again, I may buy because I am impressed. Time will tell.
Solange would have been HUGE if she hadn't gotten pregnant and gone through with that shot-gun wedding. She messed it up for herself. Oh well. She looks good here and her voice is wonderful as always.

Its not that bad but Charlotte's duet with Beverley Knight the a few weeks back rocked. Charlotte is a better singer than Solange by miles. The show is very good though, the other alternative is Jonathan Woss on Fwiday nights so this is fresh and she hardly offends her guests.
I like Charlotte Church, she makes a good chat show host. Surprisingly.
Charlotte Church is pitch perfect, and doesn't make that rookie mistake of singing 12 notes when 3 are needed in a gratuitous and distracting peacock vocal display. I'm with Perez here; bring on the Charlotte Church show!

Solange sings like she just learned how to sing with vibrato–she over does it and it sounds awful. Yet somehow, she manages to sound better than Beyonce.
It's always a little weird when someone with a classically trained voice like Charlotte sings "pop" or any other genre.
This sucked all the way around.
I am in Spain for the summer and get all the UK channels. The Charlotte Church show is one of my favorites! Lady to Ladette is classic!!!

Charlotte Church is a talentless whale who's mooching off Channel 4 with a shitty unoriginal chat show, which is full of swearing just to make her look hard…or adult even…she was buggered from the moment her voice broke from the at least slightly pleasant choir girl voice she had before. SWINE!
'Be My Baby' is a straight up song. What's with Solange subtracting from it with the unecessary (and not spot on) vocal gymnastics? Charlotte does it justice.
Solange is a lovely young woman but it's clear that she has none of her sister Beyonce's vocal talent or stage presence. Charlotte Church sounded good.
