Rosie's Leaving…and No One Cares!

Some bad news for Rosie O'Donnell!
In the last year, since she left The View, traffic on Ro's website has fallen more than 85 percent.
Ouch!
Rosie went from 650,000 visitors a month to under 100,000, according to the Web measurement company compete.com.
O'Donnell announced this week that she is taking a month off from blogging.
Will anybody miss her????

Yes I will miss her - I already do! I love reading her blog and her Ask A Question. There is nobody like Rosie. She's real and has shared herself on the blog.
Sorry to say, I wouldn't miss this site were Perez to leave. There are several other gossip sites just like this so I would just visit them.
Yes. She will be missed by many. Her brand of compassion for others, courage to speak out. and realistic view of the world will be missed by many. maybe not by those who only focus on the superficial, and feel like they have to prove their intelligence by belittling and railing on others - ring any bells?

Rosie is an AWESOME woman. Any idea how refrehing it is to have someone with celebrity statsus not CARE about their celebrity status and just be real, faults and all? Genuine empathy, insight, sarcasm, pain, happiness… realness. Come back soon Ro.
Nope, won't miss her a bit. I stopped reading her blog when she kept going on and on about spending time with the dolphins and bragging that she didn't have to do laundry because "she's rich" (her words) She lost touch with the common people at about that time, single mothers with financial problems would write and ask for advice and her attitude was pretty much "it sucks to be you". Then she got even meaner after her book tanked. And personally, I got tired of recieving letters in my email about a cruise that I could never afford to go on.
The very last straw was when she changed the format of her blog, it froze up my computer every time I logged onto her site. She just wasn't worth the trouble. I can find more interesting things to do on the internet than hear her brag about her money and look at pictures of her kids.
Yes, I will miss her…but she has a life! I find her site very interesting.

I will miss her and her site! It is the exact opposite of yours, Perez. Positive, uplifting, and interesting. You claim to aim for the light, like Rosie does, but you always wind up in the gutter. Attacking and belittling people is your brand and a sad brand it is. Come back soon Rosie, we LOVE you!!
I too do not agree with everything Rosie says. I read her blog because she is a smart lady . Her writing is funny smart and sometimes really opens your eyes. I hope she gets a show on tv soon.
Yes, I will miss RO! Her web site is one of the first I check every day. I understand her need to take a break though. She needs to spend some time with her family, just like folks in the real world. She is a thought-provoking, caring celebrity, much more so than 99.9% of them!
p.s. For those of you who wonder why Kelly went on a trip to Europe by herself - she does it every year! No one knows if they are truly having problems, but don't say they are just because Kelly took a trip by herself. Leave their private life just that - PRIVATE!

A very HIGH majority WILL MISS ROSIE and they are the ones that read your blog, Perez. I will miss her too but respect that she is putting family first. She is a devoted mother. I don't agree with all her politics but I know what she says is from her heart.

I love Rosie. She is trying to balance being a mom with kids home on summer vacation, plus her own career and interests. Being the good mom that she is, she's decided to take a break from the internet to see if she can, for the rest of the month. Kids are back in school in September.
This break from the blog has nothing to do with how many hits her blog gets. I was reading her blog way before most people caught on to it and back when all of us true fans could comment on every blog she wrote.
I'm looking forward to hearing more about Rosie in the future. Especially if she is going to be coming back to television!!

She actually defends you Perez, I don't know why..all you do is slam people and even their kids. She on the other hand dedicates so much time protecting kids and trying to get the forgotten into decent foster homes. What do you do Perez for society??? Nothing..

Perez, I am not sure what type of people you have looking at your website. I mean I am a sucker for celebrity gossip, but why do they have to be so mean? Rosie has done so much for children, so why attack her sexuality and her person. She is a very selfless person and people just need to lay off her. If she chooses to take some time off thats her perogative. From Rosie's track record she will be back with a vengence!!!! So if you can not say some smart, do not say anything at all!! Go Rosie!!!!
I think Rosie has taken seriously the Cindy Adams story, and is now spending more time at home with her wife

I will miss her very much. I read her blog every day. She is funny and honest and unafraid to say what she thinks. Truth telling has been rare the last few years. I am 67 years old, well educated and was a university prof and admin. Rosie is smart and real and funny.
Rosie was probably sticking her finger up the asian girl's ass when the picture was taken.

Ro is an amazing, caring, kind and compassionate human being and Perez you are a hater talking smack about her. I have enjoyed Rosie's blog for almost 2 years and it is the highlight of my morning to see what her inspiring and creative mind has come up with. She does so much good for the world and I have wondered for awhile when she was going to take some time of for herself. We all need to retreat into seclusion every once in awhile. Ro will be back, that is for sure. When she is ready, when she is stronger, when it is time to change the world again in her wonderful ways. Peace out.
We'd be better off if Rosie just stayed off of blogging for good. Know one cares? She is a great actress, mom… but that's about it. She's rude and not a such a nice person. Having been on Nick and doing work for them. She hasn't shown them a good image of herself. Not the best roll model with her big mouth. Just live your life and enjoy it. Stop whinning

I visit her blog multiple times a day. I am love Ro Ro and the blog. She asks great questions that make you think and her art is amazing. However, everyone deserves to take it easy.
Rosie rocks! She's got longevity and connects with her fans. Those 100,000 bloggers are faithful to her. The others were simply clicking on because of The View or some lame controversy. Rosie will be around longgggg after Perez Hilton.com vanishes into oblivion. Talent endures, hon. Will miss Ro, but she's planning bigger things.
I miss her alot. I only came on your sight to see if there was anything on here about her. She is a great mentor for so many people.
