Angelina Jolie is shooting down reports that she conceived her newborn twins via in vitro fertilization.
In a new interview with Hello magazine, the actress says:
"If they had been concieved through IVF, we would have been happy to discuss it. But we have been fortunate never to have had fertility problems."

it's really bad for the environment to have so many babies. everyone praises angie for her work with the UN, but it seems as though this is all a show. you can't possibly be a good mother to this many children as young as they are at once, while being a goodwill ambassador and famous actress at the same time. having lots of natural babies (not adopted) is bad for an environment in crisis. people who really care about world issues know this. i wish people would wake up and see angelene isn't as saintly as she would like for you to believe.
Re: Linds – That is true she did have to release 2 eggs. I myself am a new mother of twin boys that are 4 months old. However, if you look at statistics your chances of having twins is 1 in every 250. These babies were not my second pregnancy, I already have 2 girls. I also have twins in my family but that is the last thing on the list as far as how easily you get pregnant with twins. If you have 4 or more pregnancys your risk is great to have twins, which I did, but one was a miscarriage. The twins are my last. Personally, I think that she used IVF.

Re: jt – Any doctor will tell you that a female in her 40's has less than a 5% chance of becoming pregnant. Not only that, from that 5% that gets pregnant only 1/3 of them are born. Very high miscarriage rates and birth defects. Female fertility declines after age 27 and males is 37.
Now that doesn't mean young people can conceive easily either. If you had any STD's, which will scar a women's fallopian tubes and uterus, making it almost impossible to conceive naturally, some might even need a surrogate.
Also some men might have sperm issues. Some women have PCOS, some are born without ovaries or a uterus. Some have 2 uteruses. That's why they have fertility treatments, to help people who normally can't conceive on their own.
Honestly, who cares who how they were conceived? I'm sure she would deny a nose job, as well, but then that might tarnish her image of so-called perfect looks.
Faternal twins are seperate eggs not sperm. So it would be super ovulation on Angies part.
Thats right the drug clomid can produce twins too. It has a 10% chance.

Angelina, JLo and Julia R. all were reported be using fertility treatments right before each announced their pregnancies. Coincidence? I think not. Julia and JLo tried to get pregnant for a while before "conceiving" their boy/girl twins. The only person who has been completely honest was Courtney Cox.

It is actually Angie with "super eggs" not Brad. Because the twins were fraternal and not identical it is the mother that dropped more than one egg to be fertilized. The situation is called "hyperovulation". The condition usually runs in families. This is where the idea that if you were a twin you may have twins or the idea that it skips a generation. Brads sperm is not so extrodinary

John Mayer, who is not ready!) Brad did not want to be an old man when he became a father and he found someone who was willing to give him his dream…Brad could have gotten many women to just make him a father..he wanted a family and I am very happy for this beautiful family and we all should be!

Eggs have a lot to do with it, as you get older eggs follisified and are harder
to penetrate the outer shell. Some women's ph can also self abort their own
eggs. These eggs that are mature (30's and up) can have more abnormalities.
Also sperm that are older can bounce off the ovaries walls and miss aim.
Stress can also affect conception, and you all know that are only 3 days of the
month you can get pregnant, but everyone ovulates different. Normal everyday people in their 30's and up with mortgage payments,paying back
student loans and worrying if one parent should stay home or work, makes
enough stress and that makes it harder to conceive.

These are two drugs that are prescribed to promote ovulation. She may have conceived naturally, but that doesn't mean extra eggs weren't produced via this method.
Didn't she also say that she would never think of breaking up a family because she comes from a broken family or some flimsy excuse like that? I just can't believe anything she says anymore, that's all.
