i've read all 6 pages. interesting article. cheek implants don't meet an european beauty standard. they look like tennis balls imo. best example is cameron diaz. in general i'm pro plastic surgery… but cheek implants just look awful imo.

I won't comment on the article because I haven't read it. Apparently it isn't about cosmetic surgery. I think she was a very savvy business woman, but has had only one marketing idea that she's been using for over 20 years.
Conversely, consider the actress Emma Thompson. She's in the same age bracket as Madonna, and has let her face age normally. I just saw "Brideshead Revisited" and she looked marvelous. I'm 47 and I watch my diet, exercise, use Origins facial products, and still love my little crows feet and laugh lines. These wrinkles give me expression and a certain "depth" of emotion that I have earned.
