You always seem to hate on Mariah. You said yesterday that she is too old to wear what she wears, yet today you had a post of some of Madonna's costumes for her upcoming tour. She is over 50 and some of those costumes look like they are way too revealing for a woman over 50. Also you seem to talk about Mariah lip synching a lot, yet Madonna and Kylie Minogue lip synch all the freakin time and you do nothing but praise their performances. Also Mariah has more number one singles than any other woman recording artist, tied with Elvis and right behind The Beatles. She wrote/co wrote all of those songs along with most songs that are on each and every album she releases. Can you say that about Madonna or Kylie? NO! Mariah's last two albums have also outsold Madonna's and Kylies by quite large numbers. Mariah is one of the most talented singer/songwriters of our generation and you do nothing but hate on her . Her last tour in 2006 is the highest grossing tour for a female ever ($198million). In march she was inducted to the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame. I'd love to be that irrelevant. Dude the chick is a living legend. Some KIDS here have no clue. Fickle Fickle, most stars now only wish to be as relevant as Madonna. 25 years strong.
Oh and about Mariah, I like Mariah, but her only claim to fame is having 18 #1 US singles which I could only name a few. While she's an excellent singer, she did not change or have had an impact on music and culture globally the way Madonna has. Madonna has more #1's in the world chart than any other artist. She's not only the highest selling female artist of our time, but the richest. She has more Top 5, Top 10, Top 20, Top 40 than any other female artist in the US alone. Touch My Body reach #1 in the US and sold 1.1 million singles & downloads. 4 minutes reached #3 and sold 2.1 million in the US alone. Go figure. Emancipation of MiMi was RE-released and thats the only reason it surpassed Confession on a dance floor, while Mariah's tour practically flopped.
