Actually, anyone who has ever seen an American soldier in uniform could tell you that that's the way the flag is displayed on their arm…the stars lead the way. So, in fact, our President is not incorrect, most Americans are just undereducated about their own country's practices and history. When you look at a flag on a flag pole being blown straight out by the wind, if you're standing on one side the flag is facing "normally", but if you walk around to the other side, it will look like the above picture, does that make it "wrong" or "embarrassing"? I think not. Just because people draw pictures of it with the stars on the left doesn't mean that's the only correct way.

Bush is a person of good morals? The man was arrested for cocaine possession in 1972, and did a year of community service under a Young Offender Divervsion Program, arranged by his father, Bush Senior, so that his record would be exsponged. George Bush was 26 years of age at the time. If the authors of this information (and there are more than one) were propagating these reports falsely, you can be sure that they would be saddled with swift and sure litigation by Bush's legal team. There has been no litigation. Additionally, George W. Bush acknowledged to CNN that in 1976, he was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol near his parents' home in Kennebunkport, Maine.
