Warning: Even more spoilers ahead.
Do not, repeat, do not read on if you don’t want to find out the outcome of Michael Phelps‘ latest race.
If you do, or if you saw, then….
Congratufuckinglations to the U.S. Olympic swimmer!
Not only did he win his 10th gold in the 200-meter men’s butterfly on Wednesday, but Michael Phelps ALSO won his 11th gold along with his teammates in the 800-meter freestyle relay.
And, Phelps and his teammate set a new world record!!!!
Russia took the silver and Australia earned the bronze.
This is Michael’s 5th gold medal at these games. He’s just 3 more away from breaking the old record of most golds one in one games, set by swimmer Mark Spitz almost 40 years ago.
Phelps is now one of the most decorated Olympians of all time.
With 11 total (and more to possibly come), Michael has more Olympic gold medals than anyone else in history.
Un-be-lieve-a-ble!
