The yellow eyes are either a dead giveaway that you are the devil's spawn, or an off-color photoshop. It’s a cross (bastard if you prefer) a Poodle x Golden retriever should never be sold as Purebred since it’s not recognised by any AUTHENTIC canine association.
If you buy a Poodle x Golden puppy more that 300$ then you got fucked by this ‘breeder’.
Same thing for:
Labradoodle (Labrador retriever x poodle)
Goldenpoo (Poodle x Golden)
Puggle (Pug x Beagle)
Etc.
They sell these dogs (poodle mixes) as anti-allergenic, but they CAN’T assure that all the puppy will be.
Usually, parents are not tested against common breed sicknesses and malformations (eyes, shoulders, hips)
Those cross breeds are a new FLAVOR OF THE WEaK.
IT TAKES SEVERAL HUNDREADS OF YEARS to create an authentic new dog breed. Nowadays these BACKYARD BREEDERS sell those puppies a fortune and make all their money our of YOUR back.
It you want to adopt a puppy, please look for a Registered and accredited ETHICAL BREEDER, that have Champions parents, REGISTRED and TESTED dogs.
Or even better, adopt a rescue dog!!!

YES! But don't forget, there are, in this world, breeders that do an awesome work. That don't sell at pet shops, that don't live from their breeding, that don't do inbreeding. These breeders look for good temperament and health. They have champion parents, and most of all, they don't sell their dog to anybody. They make sure their dogs will stay it their adoptive family or come back to the breeder and they sell their dog with a sterilization contract!

Re: Uidiot – Totally agree with you on the puppy mill thing. I own a Labrador Retriever that was a puppy mill dog. Poor thing. Nowdays she sleeps on an $800 dollar mattress and gets to swim whenever she wants to. Also, when the whips and other leather comes out, she sits by my side and cries until I give her a few gentle swipes. It makes her day.

"designer dogs" are absolutely dreadful. there are hundreds of thousands of "designer dogs" needing adoption from shelters. they're called MUTTS. by buying into the "designer dog" fad, you're only adding fuel to the puppy mill fire.
