This is not a surprise: the Jonas Brothers are going to top the album charts in the U.S. next week.
What is surprising is HOW WELL they're going to do.
The Jonai released their new album, A Little Bit Longer, this week, and it is gonna debut bigger than Miley Cyrus did. And the numbers prove it.
Miley was able to top the album charts selling 371,000 copies of her album, Breakout, for its first week release.
As for the Jonas Bros, they're poised to top next week's album charts with a total that currently looks to be in the 725,000 area!!!!!
That's double what Miley did!
The JBs are also the first group ever in history to sell more than 100,000 digital downloads for three consecutive singles with Burning Up (183k), Play My Music (109k) and Pushin' Me Away (116k).

i downloaded this cd on sunday, and i had high hopes
i had hated the jonas brothers despite having met them in 2006 but this july i gave them a shot
first their cd was horrible, lyrics like "i'm hot, you're cold"
i'm sorry but i am sure that the girls i babysit could pen better lyrics [which by the way i watch two girls and all their friends hate the jonas brothers, and they fit the average fan base. one was even telling me how she had a dream that the jonas brothers died and it made teh world a better place. the next day they burnt a poster of them]
anyways then i heard their target commercial, and they completely disrespected the beatles
my friend roby pretty much summed it up when he said " have you seen the second half to this commercial, its the part where they walk up to mccartney and spit in his face"

they are a boy band. who until going on tour with miley were relatively unknown, they weren't anything until she came around
i saw them for free in '06, that is just how "fantastic" they are

i've listened and watched their music and mini shows, and finally made up my mind that they will die out, just like every other boy band.
The thing that has the ladies hooked is Joe Jonas, yes he is very attractive, the second thing that has the fans going is Nick Jonas, young but still pretty attractive.
but the other one, (i don't even know his name) looks like a scary grumlin!
they are hott now but soon will burn out.
but for now, keep rocking, even though it's probably not them playing.

After two complete plays through, I can't say I like the new album. Maybe it'll grow on me…
At the moment the tracks seem over-produced and the album as a whole seems really incohesive, like it was meant to be an EP instead of an LP. I don't know if they made such a big deal about it being recorded on tour so they'd have an excuse for how it sounds, but it really flows like a bad greatest hits album.
So much for people taking them as serious musicians. Good job Disney. All we need now is for their voices to be digitally altered like every other teen pop star Hollywood Records has signed.

I've read some of the comments on here, and I'm really annoyed on behalf of JB fans. Just because young people are the ones buying the album doesn't make it any less meaningful that if older generations were buying it. I hate how everyone assumes that young people will listen to any old rubbish they're told to like. Just because you don't like the JB doesn't make them a terrible band. I think their voices sound awful, but that doesn't mean that everyone thinks they sound bad. They're a pop band, some people are not going to like them, but not everyone likes rap or R&B or rock or whatever. Don't be so damned condescending all the time.
