Poor Kendra Wilkinson.
It seems some people still view the Girls Next Door as three women “sleeping” with a playboy old enough to be their grandfather. Plus, there’s the whole nudity thing!
Even though some companies, mostly nightclubs, would love to have the girls over for publicity, some “family-friendly” chains try to distance themselves from them.
It’s common that most companies pay big bucks to have celebs endorse them. And, when a celeb does it for free, they’ll still reward them, with money or items. Though that doesn’t seem to be the case with the Olive Garden.
It’s no secret that Kendra LOVES her some Olive Garden. She plugs it often on the Girls Next Door show and elsewhere.
Kendra once said, “I love the Olive Garden so much because I grew up going there. That used to be the place we would go for Mother’s Day, for birthdays. My grandpa just died, and right after his funeral, we went to the Olive Garden.”
Lovely.
But, even better was when they were filming the show in Italy and she was asked how the food in Italy compares with her favorite restaurants back home.
Kendra responded, “It doesn’t.” Adding that she loves Olive Garden the best.
Kendra and Playboy even hosted the Hottest Girls of Olive Garden, which was obviously not endorsed by the chain. The prize was a nude Playboy pictorial, and the contestants’ photos were taken by Kendra.
However, executives at Olive Garden would rather not be associated with the playmate. One exec said, “I don’t feel comfortable talking about this…because it is a complicated issue for the brand.”
As for Kendra, she comments about her open love for Olive Garden by saying, “I don’t speak about it to get paid for it. I speak about it because I love it. I understand they’re a family restaurant, but I think it can’t hurt them to have a little spice.”
Yea, we’re thinking she kept dropping the hints to get some free meals.
One media company exec says, “The question is: ‘Do you have to love someone who loves you?’ The worst thing to do is turn off someone who is that passionate about you. A brand doesn’t have to actively embrace someone like Kendra, but they should certainly be willing to accept the fact that she’s willing to tell the world how much she loves them.”
Why is Kendra a “complicated issue” for Olive Garden?
They need to bow down and suck her cock ASAP, begging for forgiveness!
