Barack's Veep Announcement… Coming This Week!
Filed under: Politik > Barack Obama > Hillary Clinton
Barack's got everyone buzzing!
The Obama campaign is expected to reveal his Vice Presidential pick by the end of the week.
Campaign insiders say the choice won't be a 'surprise'.
That probably means it won't be Hillary!
B-rock's running mate will probably be Senator Evan Bayh of Indiana, Governor Tim Kaine of Virginia OR Senator Joseph Biden Jr. of Delaware.
Barack supposedly has NOT informed the winner or losers of the coveted spot.
So, the people in the running are just as in the dark as we are!
Can't wait to see who it will be!

FIRST !!
first
Please please please don't be hillary.
No Hillary = no Presidential win. Guaranteed.
hillary
thats not going to be a surprise
they're been working together a lot lately
Yeah
What happend to Hillary I was really wanting her to be his running mate. Now I will have to think twice when I vote.
That's some cutting political analysis LiiSA and carolly.
Biden, Biden, Biden… Obama needs someone with foreign policy experience (and a good record on the campaign trail).
I guess that makes me the FIRST to actually say something coherent about Perez' post.
MAYBE IT WILL BE JESSE JACKSON…THERE BFF'S….
Yawn!!!!
Barack should be somebodies VP
l
Re: D-Bag – i agree!
TEAM TIM KAINE.
Joe Biden all the way baby!
I like Joe Biden, but I think he has to much baggage! He needs to pick someone that adds something new to the campaign. Four Star General Wesley Clark is the person I wish he would choose. He has everything Barack Obama doesn't have….and that's a HUGE plus! Four Star General Wesley Clark is five rankins above John McCain so it would shut the republicans up about experience and would only boost his bid as president.
OPRAHHHH?
Perez, you have enough visitors to this blog to make a real important point. For eight years the mainstream news media has been lying to us. When they were supposed to be asking tough questions they played dead and let Bush get us into a illegal war and people are losing their homes and their jobs and their healthcare. Lobbyists for the oil companies and the banking industry and the Pharmaceutical industry are controlling everything. People can't afford gasoline, or health insurance, food prices are up, everything is a mess. The Republicans took over Congress and didn't do anything to stop Bush either. But the thing that really pisses me off the most, is right now, the news media especially CNN and Fox, are promoting John McCain as if they were on his payroll. If you ever watch him, when he is all the way live making a speech or answering questions at some town hall, he is dim. The man is too old and he is not normal. Being in a prison camp for 5 years in Vietnam messed up his brain. He says all kinds of weird stuff but the news media never checks him. Why don't you check the news media, Perez. Call them out. Tell them to be more fair in their coverage.
Please, please don't pick Hillary!!!!
I think all of his choices will make him lose, if he chooses Kaine then you have two very inexperienced people and if he chooses Biden then his whole montra of change goes right out the window because Biden doens't represent change, and if he chooses that other women all the Hillary (and there was a lot of them) supporters will be pissed that he chose a different women. Go ahead Obama choose whoever you want you won't get my vote!
I realy hope its HILLARY!! I think that B-Rock & Hillary would make a great team! go USA
Moonbeams: more fair in their coverage? Obama is EVERYWHERE and gets the plus coverage in every way compared to McCain. If anything it's the other way around and McCain gets waaaaaay less exposure. Cnn is a liberal channel so trust me they are NOT endorsing or giving more fair coverage to McCain. They are all about Obama. Now Fox is more a republican loving channel that is more for McCain. But again as for exposure and their coverage…McCain gets the short end of the stick. I am not saying I am voting for McCain don't get me wrong. I am still on the fence waiting to see how things go…but I can give McCain that.
Obama Hussain and Bedin. Sounds like a presidential party from the middle east!!!
This transplanted Virginia gal understands why Kaine would be considered (VA is in play for Obama)–but PLEASE NO on Mr. Tim. Abortion opponent. Democrat Lite. Why not go for Mark Warner instead?
Bedin just reminds me of Ben Ladin combined, weird?
Barack Hussain YOmama….nice ring to it, don't you think??
Here is Barry's Cabinet choices: 1) VP - Al Gored….2) Sec of State — Rev JeriMY-YA Wrong….3) Sexatary of DA-fense - Jesse "HymieTown" Jackson…4) SEXatary of the Interior (of bathrooms in hotels) — the BreckGirl, John Edwards
I don't think it will be any of the above! I think it will be somebody totally unexpected!!! We will soon find out. McStupid will announce his next week because he wouldn't dare go before Obama. He's such an asshole!
I hope it's not Hillary. Because whoever becomes the vp will have to do all the work and take the blame when things go wrong. Obama can't be held accountable of anything, the blame is always on the people around him. Hillary is way too good to babysit Uhbama.
Hey State Zits!
Comparing YOmama to Bush is like comparing nothing of any value to a guy that is a non-hate filled practicing human-being.
You are the fucking piece of shit and the MORON of the Day!!
Let's hope its Kaine. Biden is a big ass just like DICK Chaney and I've never heard of that guy from Indiana. I like Hillary, but she will lose the election for him.
Sorry Ziti……..the piece of shit award is for Moonbeams…………so sorry …late in the day and can't f-ing type!!
It's Biden, which will make for an uneventful ticket. With Obama's poll numbers dipping, this won't change voter's minds. Sadly, McCain wins in the fall.
I had money on Edwards some time ago and was surprised that he pulled out…seemed to be a salt/pepper dream-ticket. The last few weeks cleared up that puzzle, tho.
Re: WONDER TWIN – I see you haven't got the memo. Wesley Clark supported Hillary and when she suspended her campaign he wanted to throw his support behind Obama. Guess what Obama said? NO. In fact, Clark has been denied entering the democratic convention like all the names who supported Hillary. So you can forget that. Obama is waaaaayyyyy to petty and narcistic. He holds grudges at people for the slightest things. That's why I don't believe he's going to choose Hillary no matter how it'd boost his popularity. He's not big of a man to "forgive" her.
Yeah Wonder Twin! That's who I'm hoping for, too - General Wesley Clark, bitches: He's hot, he's experienced, and he's already beaten the Russians once (well, sort of, it's too complicated for a Perez comment but google it)! Come on, it takes some seriously stylish moves to stop a genocide in a former Soviet ally republic like Yugoslavia without accidentally setting off WWIII, and General Clark did it. Neat trick if you can pull it off. Better than whatever Rice and Bush are pretending to do in Georgia, anyway. I wish they would just stop talking! They have no idea what they're talking about and you can totally tell. Sad, really. Putin's going to judo-kick Bush's pansy ass back to Crawford if he doesn't shut up. General Clark for Vice President!
Leader of Sheep - you're breaking my heart. *sniffle*
Biden! His experience was too lopsided to be a good presidential candidate, but he's very knowledgeable on one thing, and that's Iraq. Plus, he makes McCain's straight talk express look like Emily Post's Miz Manners. Love Biden.
It better be Hillary or he can kiss the white house goodbye…
Re: moonbeams – agreed
Can't wait! Hope it's Biden!
YAY!!!!!
I'm ready for an upgrade!
biden, definitely. i interned for him, he's a good man and a great senator. his expertise in foreign policy issues, the middle east in particular, is unparalleled in the senate. also, the people on his team are smart and creative thinkers, i know from experience. if he isn't the pick for vice president, its because obama's saving him for secretary of state
*
Obama's best choice is Wesley Clark or Hillary but he wont pick either and he wont win the election.
*
I don't trust him without Hilary. I think they'd balance each other out well.
If he wants to win he better get Hillary because she got a lot of votes in her shoulders!
just a random observation: if Obama picks Tim Kaine, their logo would be Obama/Kaine 2008. And, if you say that out loud, it kind of sounds like McCain. that would be strange. just sayin.
…. annnnnd no matter who he picks, i'll still be voting for McCain.
:)
He should choose Justin Timberlake or Cher
Biden is a cool choice, however, I still wish for the Obama/Clinton dream ticket…..SIGH!
His VP will be either Rev Whright, his spiritual leader or Farahan, a man he truly admires………He will announce it on Saturday, in his campaign office. In the backround it will not be an American flag but a beautiful picture of el Che. It will be a perfect moment. For a perfect muzlim. Perez, Madonna, Paltrow, De Niro, Clooney, Michael Moore and all the left in Hollywood will celebrate.
Perfect….Then, like always, Democrats will loose again in Novemeber.
Pathetic!
Go Joe Biden!!
Perfect, since Obama will be dragging along the Springfield-Chicago Way of government with him to DC if he wins.
"Lesser of the evils is not a choice!"
I don't give 2 shits about this asshole or whomever he pays to run along with him.
xoxo, Isa

OBAMA '08!
So sad. I live in Springfield, IL, where he is making this speech, but I can't attend, damn college. I saw his first speech, his announcement for his intention to run for the presidency, and it was amazing. I'm disappointed I won't be able to go. =(
Re: TheWildflower: I've never heard of that guy from Indiana –
If you're really interested, Bayh is a great guy! His Dad was Indiana Senator for 20 years. Evan was Sec. of State in Indiana, and twice elected Govenor (in a VERY Republican state), AND had an approval rating of 80%!
He's now junior Senator from Indiana, and very well thought of. He's on major committees; Armed Services, Aging, Intelligence, Small Business and Banking/Housing/Urban Affairs.
He's a trained lawyer having majored in business; his wife is a law professor and they have 13-year old twin sons.
Who cares, he is going to lose anyhow.
so yeah..i will never vote for a black guy to be president
talk about ruin the united states a little bit more..
oh yeah and if he picked hillary then lets just say…the world just went down the sh1tter. ( that is if he were to win hahahahaha )
Barak Obama is the biggest PHONEY I've ever heard in my life …
Doesn't matter; he won't win even if he paid people to vote for him. He's too inexperienced for the job.
