wut was he doin with a 17 yr old n e way?
he killed someone. he should get life no matter what. this is an absolute joke.
i hope lane gets lots of jail time. jerk. he's one ugly mofo.
Trying to make his pretty little Prison Break mouth look not so pretty for the next three months
He kinda looks like Ben Affleck in this pic.
I know what he did was stupid but you can tell that he has so much regret that'll stick with him for the rest of his life…u don't have to make it worse
He was in PRISON BREAK, that's right, he's heading back to Prison. Too bad for him.
Most of us have done something criminally stupid in our lives and most of us have gotten away with it. The only difference is, he didn't. So don't judge him.
i think his case should be getting more publicity just to send a message to lindsay lohan, nicole richie, and others that there are consequences other than going to court and jail for drunken driving. YOU CAN TAKE SOMEONE'S LIFE!
He kind of looks like Corey Haim!
NUMBER 32 I FEEL YA!!!….and 64!!
Those were not ordinary kids he was partying with–Beverly Hills. The party reeked of booze and drugs and who says who gave who what. I'm sure Lane is sorry for what happened and this will haunt him the longest day of his life. There is where the punishment will be served and with God.
I was just about to post something about his resemblence to Ben Affleck- but it would appear I've already been beaten to the punch.
I'd still do him!
looks like Scott Peterson
I really hope he isn't sentenced for long, yes he screwed up badly, like really badly, but clearly he didn't havae the intent to kill and he's extremely remorseful.
I hope the judge realizes that he himself is still a young guy.
What he did was bad, but I dont believe that he is a bad person.
I'd love to sink my cock deep in that ass!
Rebecca Gayheart killed a 6-yr old while talking on a cell phone… she got probation.
The picture's begging for it, so I'll give it to you. Like all actors, he's two-faced.
This guys deserved life in prison. I lost my best friend to a drunk driver and that ass only got 3 months as well. They don't care, they are sorry for one minute and then forget about how many lives they f***ed up. her should die just like the boy HE KILLED…ASSHOLE
Number 98 Anon, I am very sorry for your loss. No one should be blaming the victim. He and the girls were young and naive. Even though you are in pain, your hatred for Lane will only perpetuate more pain. Can you think of a way to turn the loss of your friend into something positive? Maybe start some kind of club at school or non profit group in his honor .My point is, V wouldn't want you to be filled with anger and hatred. I am sure he would want you to remember him and his legacy in a positive way. You, his friends, and his family can't change what happened, but you can heal and hopefully forgive someday. Turn it possitive for your friend. My longwinded sincere advice. Take care
I feel bad for him - moreso for the victim though. I think he is truly remorseful - his recent PSA was very gritty and real. He made a huge mistake and he knows it. If only those crazy young starlets would learn from his terrible tragic mistake - they've been lucky - so far.
UGLY LITTLE FUCK FACE!!
Could have happened to anyone with one terrible decision
To number 98, I'm sorry for your loss, but here's what I don't understand.
After this tradgedy happened, a lot of people at the party came forward and said Lane was doing shots and even used drugs.
Some claimed to have pictures of it.
Yet the people at the party still let the people they call their friends get in a car with him.
Nobody had a problem with Lane getting in his car, and nobody had a problem letting their friends get in a car with him.
I would never in a hundred years let my friend(s) get in a car with someone who did shots and used drugs.
I even at one point took someone's keys away because he was too drunk to drive, and he thanked me the next day.
That's what friends do, you look out for each other.
Why didn't you?
This is not all on Lane's head, it's also on the heads of the people who got in the car with him, and the people that let them get in the car with him.
He is responsible for the crash, and he NEVER should have let anyone get in the car with him, he shouldn't have been driving at all, but he's not 100% responsible.
Once you get in a car with a drunk person, you yourself are partially responsible for the results of your actions.
I feel very sorry for Lane, again, he should have never gotten in a car in the first place, but the fact that he is being labelled a killer is too much for me.
He was a man for pleading guilty. Everyone has at one point in their life had a cocktail and driven a car. It sucks, but it's a #'s game. I belive he feels for the family and their lost son.
This was not intentional, but an accident. Some learn from this, and some don't. I belive that a man with his character and background will be able to adapt to society and being a felon for life. There is not hiding from the facts. Lane killed someone, but he didn't mean to.
If everyone can just listen, read, and learn from this case, there would be less accidents/deaths related to alcohol today.
I disagree that factors such as his upbringing affected him in his adulthood. To a certain point, a foundation of principle, honesty, and conscientiousness can either make or break you. But, once you reach adulthood, you cannot abrogate your responsibility by saying how hard it was in your childhood. Live in the present, not as a result of the past!
I do, however, feel that he is sincere for what he has done. From the moment that the accident occurred, there was never a question of him pleading not guility, etc. He is not a role model, but at least he should deserve the benefit of the doubt.
like his character in Prison Break, he better learn to B.O.H.I.C.A.
(bend over here it comes again!)
"sean" your first comment was solid.
I did some time in Ventura County……It sucks man! We're all human. It's a fear we have to be locked down.
Everyone that posts "judges." We know there is only one person to judge. Lane will face him soon. I believe he feels bad for what he's done.
He messed up. Some I beieve should "pay" for their mistake.
There was NEVER one comment about seeing Lane out in the clubs drinking.
Most people who've grown up like him, seem to "get it" and catch on with society. He's your everyday average person.
I'd be mad if I was the victims father, but it won't bring him back.
Again, it's a #'s game, and anyone will eventually be caught
Stay sober, take a taxi, etc….Remember that drinking and driving is a choice.
We can prevent his in the future.
PROPS to him?!?!!
he killed my friend
props for pleading guilty??? yeah he had no choice…he was caught.
he killed my friend and should rot in hell for that.
please explain to me why he was drinking with 3 minors? and taking them to a party? someone who is messed up in the head? he also hooked up with a minor.
this guy should be put away for a long time.
i hope he is stalked by the media until the day he dies to remind him every second of taking away the sweetest kids life.
this is still haunting all of us
and its not ok that he is getting away with murder.
RIP V
we love you
happy birthday
#57
i have no words for you.
come back to me when you have a friend killed.
just because we are living in beverly hills means nothing
except people like you judge us.
i had a friend die.
because this sick guy decided to get drunk with them and drive
yeah it was their choice
but this guy is sick for being with 3 underage kids taking them to a party coked up.
im getting sick reading what some of you have to say.
he only said he was guitly cause there was no way he could have gotten away with that.
RIP V.
we love you
He's a Murderer.
I hope he never works again.
I hope he is finished, virtually dead.
Responsibilty?
what the HELL is thatsupposedtomean?
He's a
murderer among us.
He needs to go far away for a long time.
This just shows those in Hollywood are above the law. This is why Lindsey Lohan did not care when the police arrive on the scean after that car chase, she knows they will not do anything. I wonder who will she kill and get away with. I'll bet he does not serve much-if any jail time.
Lane did a mistake. It could happen to everybody. It´s sad. but who are we to judge???
Nobody ever drived drunk???
Don´t drink and drive!!!!!!
To all of you saying leave him alone, I hope Lindsey Lohan kill your belove relative in her next accident, because she has had alot of them. So much for Joe Simpson mentoring him, first his own daughters are screwed up then this man.
I wonder if he will be T-BAGS bitch, as he was on the show.
Perez. You really should have a video of him in court. It would be very effective.
The judge didn't sentence him to 90 days jail - sentencing was delayed until the end of a 90 day assessment period. He can still get a maximum of over 6 years (will probably be around 4). The video is on www.smh.com.au
I hope lane will be allright!my question is to perez have you ever drove after snorting some coke? jesselee
Its people like you who make the world such an unforgiving, hate-filled place to live. For christ sake, this poor guy made an error of judgement, all be-it a huge one but nobody deserves to have their life taken away. In saying this I do realise that his actions did cause the loss of an innocent life but in the year 2007 we should not be fighting fire with fire. If he wasn't a celebrity he would still be able to work even after his sentence is finished but some of you people believe he should never be able to work again, yet then you claim that celebrities get special treatment! Now how is this special treatment? Get off your moral high horses and realise that this man is remorceful for what he has done and stands to lose more than just a few years of freedom. People who actually intend to cause harm to others get ridiculously light sentences while others who do not hold this intent will be treated like scapegoats. Maybe it is the culture of American society but in Australia our celebrities get treated like normal people when it comes to commiting a crime. In this case, he should be punished for his actions accordingly, but give him a break for gods sake, everybody makes mistakes!
"TWEENER!!!" guess life imitates art on this one
So Paris the scrag gets what 45 days in prison and this fucker gets 90 days wtf??
If it were me or you we would be fucked up for life!!
I don't know why but I believe him and it is just a bad thing that happened.
