Don't Mess With a Lesbian and Her Bush

Lesbian actress Lily Tomlin wanted to trim some big bushes and nothing was going to stand in her way!

According to new reports, police were called to settle a dispute between comedienne Lily and her neighbor over a pair of eucalyptus trees on Thursday. The two trees sit on an easement shared by both properties.

Lily hired an arborist to chop down the trees over the objections of her neighbor.

Officers stopped the tree cutting, but Lily had the tree choppers resume work as soon as the authorities left.

City officials were then called on scene and questioned the tree cutters, who stopped because they lacked a license to cut the trees.

Tomlin’s people issued this statement about the showdown:

“It is true the trees have been knocked down. The trees were on Ms. Tomlin’s property, she was advised by the arborist to remove them because they were a hazard to people on the premises. They could potentially tip over and kill someone. Her attorney and police were present at the time to make sure things were done accordingly.”
