As much as I dislike Miley Cyrus, I don't think this girl is any better. Her lip syncing in the video does not match the song. And she is smiling WAY too much. With the way she enunciates in her song, she would be moving her lips a mile and minute. It looks completely fake and half-assed. She needs someone to mentor her on how to make a believable music video…

i like the concept of demi's video much more. however, i have to give my vote to miley because she actually appears to be singing in her vid… demi's lip synching is painfully obvious, and no amount of flashing from cut to cut is going to hide it.

Uggghhh. So sick of these Disney skanks being churned out of some sort of robot factory. This sounds totally processed in the studio (I'd love to hear her sing live) and the facial expressions are HELLA annoying. That fake over-the-top smile trying to look all coy and shit. Demi and Selena are both better looking than Miley and obviously much smarter - you don't see them acting like arrogant whores. 'Breakout' is a disaster sales wise, no one older than Miley is interested in her. The only group that still likes Miley is 9 year olds that make their mom buy her CD. Demi will appeal to a much broader audience - won't be surprised if her cd outsells Miley.

Well, I'm on the fence with this one.
While she has a great voice and the song is good, I was bored with the video.
The beginning reminded me of Hilary's Duff's Why Not video.
But between the two, I'd say Demi's is better. Miley is horrible at lip syncing, you could tell she was faking when she was 'singing' her oohs.
LOL both the vids seem the same, but there are BIG differences. Firstly, DEMI AS AWESOME VOCAL CHORDS, second, DEMI LOOKS DECENT AND HOT AT THE SAME TIME, and thirdly, PEOPLE WOULD ACTUALLY WATCH THIS INSTEAD OF MILEYS CRAPPY VIDEO/SONG THAT LOOKS AND SOUNDS LIKE ITS MEANT FOR 10 YEAR OLDS.

Demi is meant to be a popstar! I recently became a fan, and she seems so genuinly talented and sweet! I am a huge fan of this video. Yes, it is the basically the same scene throughout the whole video, but she is such a good entertainer. Great facial expressions, original style. Everything makes it so exciting to watch!
