Madonna vs. McCain: At War!

Madonna kicked off her "Sticky and Sweet" world tour on Saturday night, and - as she has done in the past - made sure to include some political satire in the new show.
In it, she compares Presidential hopeful John McCain with Adolf Hitler!
She also compared McCain to Zimbabwe's authoritarian President Robert Mugabe.
Well, McCain's camp is fighting back. His spokesman is speaking out against her Madgesty.
The Republican's rep, Tucker Bounds, says in a statement, "The comparisons are outrageous, unacceptable and crudely divisive all at the same time."
Bounds adds, "It clearly shows that when it comes to supporting Barack Obama, his fellow worldwide celebrities refuse to consider any smear or attack off limits."
Apparently this all happened during Madonna's song Get Stupid. Photos of McCain were flashed up alongside images of global warming and destruction, as well as pics of Hitler and Mugabe.
Then, towards the end of the song, photos appeared of John Lennon, Mahatma Gandhi, Al Gore, and even Barack Obama.
What do U think of Madonna's statements and McCain's response?

I find it really annoying that Perez is willing to hold McCain responsible for supporters outlandish statements (whoever that country singer was saying Johnny Cash would have supported McCain), however he is careful to say don't hold Obama accountable for Madonna's outlandish statement.
While everyone has the right to say what they feel, this is an incredibly offensive and inaccurate portrayal of McCain. Supporter or not, comparing McCain to Hitler and Mugabe shows very poor taste…but why am I shocked it comes from a 50 year old wearing a unitard.

I am curious to know how many Obama supporters really think the war will be over as soon as he takes office or even a year into his presidency? I love this site but, I also educate myself in every aspect of life and to think that Mr. Obama is a miracle worker and will solve all our problems is a huge stretch! I do tend to lean more towards Obamas views but, I will not call Mccain a bad person, he did fight for our country unlike Bush, he has a right to speak about war cause the man walked the walk. Japan Bombed Pearl Harbour so we were dragged into that one and as for the Korean war, AKA the Forgotten war I will almost give you that one b/c we lost 36k soldiers securing the 38th parallel only to give it BACK to N.Korea. I say ALMOST gave it you b/c if the Korean war did not happen ALL OF KOREA would have been under KIM JONG IL, look him up! We got involved with the Korean War b/c of the Cold War we had going w/ the Soviets. After kicking the Japanese out of Korea, we should have given the Koreans the Korean peninsula back, the only reason we did not was b/c Russia refused to leave Korea they wantedto spread Communism. We stayed b/c our arch enemy wouldn't leave.
