Madonna vs. McCain: At War!

Madonna kicked off her "Sticky and Sweet" world tour on Saturday night, and - as she has done in the past - made sure to include some political satire in the new show.
In it, she compares Presidential hopeful John McCain with Adolf Hitler!
She also compared McCain to Zimbabwe's authoritarian President Robert Mugabe.
Well, McCain's camp is fighting back. His spokesman is speaking out against her Madgesty.
The Republican's rep, Tucker Bounds, says in a statement, "The comparisons are outrageous, unacceptable and crudely divisive all at the same time."
Bounds adds, "It clearly shows that when it comes to supporting Barack Obama, his fellow worldwide celebrities refuse to consider any smear or attack off limits."
Apparently this all happened during Madonna's song Get Stupid. Photos of McCain were flashed up alongside images of global warming and destruction, as well as pics of Hitler and Mugabe.
Then, towards the end of the song, photos appeared of John Lennon, Mahatma Gandhi, Al Gore, and even Barack Obama.
What do U think of Madonna's statements and McCain's response?

Love madonna,love that shes the third richest woman in England,love that shes cool at any age and lover her music,but now I have to add love her politics as well. I think she sees republican as fascists,which they are,and she certainly has a right to experess her views. And you dont have to vote the way she does,but shes very political and has studied Kabballah for a long time,shes no dummy. I used to have some respect for her (after all, she IS Madonna), but now, all I can say is, what an idiot. What does MADONNA know about politics? Well, I think it's unfair to compare McCain to Hittler… YET.. we have to give it a try and let him become the next president and let him start doing some more of what Bush and their republicans supported has loved and support him to do, you know more war, more fear over the terrorism fantasy, more thousands of people killed defending interest of wealthy, more abuses, some more violation of any form or shape of privacy and you know all the other really fun stuff they love to do and right there just in that second the comparison will be fair. lol. She has a right to say what she wants. That's what art is all about. And it wasn't that she was comparing McCain to Hitler. Not at all. She was just showing people she's not too fond of. And in a political and provovative way…..like she always does. Get over it. Anybody who would consider voting for a republican is worse than Hitler! LOL
