Honestly tried to watch it, but her insincerity makes me wanna puke. Always talking about the people she met that she'll never forget. "The single lesbian, black, jewish, paraplegic mother of eight who had no health insurance and has just adopted three siamese twin Down Syndrome babies from Bangladesh . . . . ." Oh boo hoo hoo. She and her husband Bill are RICH elitists, for Christ's sake!

    But, go Obama!

Hillary is the consummate politician and comes with way too much baggage to be trusted. (Think Whitewatergate). Of course she stood behind Billy during his various trysts and carrying-ons; she had her own agenda all along. She had her eye on the White House for herself and nothing was going to stop her. I have absolutely no respect for the woman. I would love to see a woman in the White House some day but Hillary is not the one I want to see. This country is in desperate need of a change of leadership. Is Obama up to the challenge? I don't know but I'm willing to give him the opportunity. He can't possibly do any worse than our current president has.

Obama already went against what alot of Americans wanted and didn't choose her as his running mate. Maybe he was afraid that she would outshine him? So he chose some unknown (at least to me). So now I have to choose: two inexperienced men or an old fartbag. I think I'll go with the fartbag.

  6. 106

She was AWESOME and inspiring! What a great leader and a strong woman! I will vote for Obama but I am a strong Hillary supporter and wish he would have chosen her for VP but understand why he didn't… because she would have outshone him.

    Re: D-Bag

"Om-pra" didn't pick Hill because he know's that if something happened to him she would be PRESIDENT. Mrs. "Om-pra" would flip out if this would have ever happened, I think wiffey is a bitter bitter jealous woman.

  12. 112

Hillary is such a strong courageous woman. I don't necessarily agree with her politics, but her speech was amazing and truly shows how much she cares about this country. Hillary supporters stand behind Barack! We do not need four more years of George Bush aka John McCain.

  13. 113

Hillary Clinton was phenomenal last night! There were so many great things about her speech. She was gracious, humble and direct. Some will criticize her for not talking about Obama enough but I think that she did exactly what she was suppose to do. Does Hillary still want to be President? Of course she does, yet her speech was so heartfelt and authentic you cannot help but to believe that she loves her Democratic Party and what it means to be Democrat more than her own presidential ambitions. I also appreciate that she mentioned Arkansas Democratic Party Chair, Bill Gwatney and Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs Jones in her speech. If anything after hearing Clinton’s speech, it may me question as to why she is not the VP choice. People forget that Obama, in no way, won the Democratic primary in a landslide. The public is familiar with Hillary Clinton, she has the experience, her base is women, Latinos and the white blue collar workers. These are the groups of people that Obama has the least amount of support. I think that if Barack Obama really cared about uniting the Democratic Party, Hillary Clinton as VP should have been a no brainer.

  14. 114

    I love her!

  15. 115

    VOTE McCAIN 08 !!!!

  16. 116

Michelle Obama looked bored out of her mind…well, until Hillary mentioned her name.

Hillary took one for the team, for the sake of the Dem party. Too bad "the party" threw her under the bus.

    Re: Yea Right
Post 70, You hit it dead on. That's why I laff sometimes at this "experience" kick. Here are some fun facts:"Obama's foreign policy experience includes graduating from Columbia University w/ a degree in political science w/ emphasis on international relations. In the U.S. Senate Obama is unique among Senators in that he serves on 3 of the 4 Senate Committees dealing w/ foreign policy issues including the Foreign Relations; Homeland Security & Governmental Affairs; & Veterans' Affairs committees & is the Chair of the Foreign Relations Subcommittee on European Relations which is responsible fore U.S. relations with European countries, the European Union, & the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (i.e., NATO). When comparing Obama's foreign policy experience with other candidates for President you have Democrat Joseph Biden who is Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, Democrat Hillary Clinton who is a member of the Armed Services Committee & John McCain who is the Ranking Member of the Armed Services Committee yet there is no Senator except for Barack Obama who serves on 3 of the 4 committees that deal with foreign policy." Obama.senate.gov,amnestyusa.org
Foreign Relations: Look up the Lugar-Obama Act, Democratic Republic of Congo Relief, Security, and Democracy Promotion Act, Secure America and Orderly Immigration Act
*Don't take my word, please look these things up yourselves.*

No, some already know from prior posts that I'm a graduate student who lost an Uncle and cousin in the the twin towers who's parents are of German decent. I'm also well versed in Political Science (emphasis on Foreign policy) and minored in Sociology. I'm currently pursuing my PhD in Politics and work for an IT company in IL. making an insane amount of $ but never forgot my roots. I watch the BBC a lot and actually GASP…. READ, RESEARCH and LISTEN! I am NOT a democrat I'm an independant which is laughable since I always have to pick the lesser of two evils thanks to this two party system. I researched McCain and wanted to like him but he became un appealing after his Iran, Healthcare and economic comments. The issues I care about. Therefore I can sit here & talk politics ALL day. I live, eat and breathe this stuff.

It was NOT her moment to shine, it was her moment to support Barack Obama and she failed miserably. Why was she going on and on about what she had fought for? Why wasn't she using her time to promote Obama intead of herself. As usual, she is always pumping herself up for some future political goal of hers. I fucking hate this bitch and all the dumb whores who suckle at her fucking tit. I would love to have a women president one day, but not this carpetbagging opportunist.

  22. 122

I want her in the oval office. Put her there. She is the real winner.

  23. 123

I LOVE HILLARY, GET IT SISTER, BUT I AM EVEN MORE MAD NOW THAT SHE WONT BE OUR PRESIDENT, I STILL AM NOT SOLD ON OBAMA…

  24. 124

I do like her, shame she isn't the one running for the democrats

    McCain '08

  25. 125

Re: KatieGhurl – Your the one who sounds angry. Michelle has said nothing that states that she is angry. Vote for McCain; that is your right. Who gives a shit? I bet if your life depended on it you couldn't name two things on McCain's platform. Your just angry because Michelle out educates you and probably every female in your family.

  26. 126

Re: MiamiDolphinLover – She's not the nominee because she didn't get enough votes! This is how the voting process goes. To vote for McCain simply because your candidate didn't win is so ridiculous. If you are really disgusted at how this country has been run by the current administration then why on earth, out of spite and out of sour grapes, would you vote for another candidate who is prone to do the same thing? Even your beloved Hilary makes this point. Were you supporting the woman or the party? All of you all "NO Hillary, no vote!" or "No Hillary, then McCain" people sound like bratty little kids. Get over it and look at the bigger picture.

  27. 127

No way, no how, no McCain! I'm from Europe and I really hope America will vote for Obama. Very good speech from Hilary Clinton.

  28. 128

Re: spiritgirl44Re: Dick Gozinya – OMG!!! you are hysterical, I am still laughing, thanks for that!!!! HAHH HAAA HAAA

  29. 129

You can't blame a party for things not being great in America you blame the people in office (which by the way the democrats hold the majority right now). There has been bad democrat Presidents and bad Republican presidents, and just because Obama is a democrat doesn't mean he can fix anything. You people are going to feel stupid after going so nutty over Obama and then he isn't able to change anything. Mccain has experience which I was always led to believe was an important job quality but I guess now that doesn't matter. I guess we should just start hiring people who want to do jobs and say they can do it regardless of their qualifications. I'm voting for the man with the experience to actually do somthing, and the man that has no problem going against both parties to do what is right!!

  30. 130

    Re: sparkys nemesis
Sparky, all I have to say to the people that think Obama doesn't have enough experience - take a look at the guy in the oval office today. The man had plenty of experience and look what he did to this country. In my mind, experience doesn't mean a damn thing.

  31. 131

Re: Lor – (BUCK too) Are you being honest with yourselves?!?!?!?! I may have called you stupid, ignorant, crazy and a dumbass. Truthfully, that just shows my intelligence. So don't suggest my debate was anything BUT! To go back and forth trying to get you to see the light, the big picture is frustrating. When your rebuttal is all of those things I just mentioned. Sorry to call a spade a spade.

When you Hillary / Democrat haters come to consciousness, you will realize that she gave a phenomenally, powerful and heartfelt speech. Filled with everything that she DOES stand for, everything that she wanted to personally change. Now, because she's not the nominee- she can't She didn't even get the nod for VP, and STILL has the class and dignity to get her points across. Her point was to unite a party that's obviously torn. I wanted her in office too, but just like REALMENDONTCRY stated we need to unite and vote for someone whose concerns for the big picture are the same. I really hope Democrats and Republicans alike can do what this country desperately needs. It's so frightening to think I'm living among some of the most ignorant dumbasses alive! Sorry, no hard feelings- BUT WAKE UP!

  32. 132

Any self-respecting democrat who would vote for McCain out of spite is not only a hypocrite, but a fool. If you really believed in any of the things you claim to stand for by supporting Hillary (women's rights, universal healthcare, basic human rights, THE F***ING CONSTITUTION) you would never be able to vote for someone like John McCain who is only beholden to those who have more money than he does. That means another 4-8 years of pissing on the middle class, destroying every right that people have fought for in this country, and living in a country that, more than ever, only pays lip service to ideals like justice, liberty, and equality. Reading this makes me ashamed to call myself an American because it looks like 99% of us are not only cowards, but morons to boot. WAKE UP!

  38. 138

What a fan-fucking-tastic speech! She would have made a great president, if only the Old Boys Club would have let her. She's an amazing woman, and I'm glad the Democrats have her on our side :)

  39. 139

she's bitter that she didn't get picked. she should have tried to seen more excited. and by the way she never said that she has confidence in Obama to be the next president. probably because she doesn't.

  46. 146

  47. 147

    Nice Try sweets,
Tell me what experience McCain has :)
The man has 30 years "experience", comes on National TV and STATES he doesn't know ANYTHING about Healthcare nor the economy, then he hints at war with Iran! Secondly he votes LOCK and BARREL w/ BUSH (You know the dummy you referred to) 90% of the time hence why the "twins" comment from Senator Clinton. Also for your FYI, none of them have ever been president so none of them have "experience". McCain sunk his own battleship w/ the comments he made that I referred above. As for Obama read post 118.

mmm thats nice…too bad baracks dropping in the polls..mostly cuz more of her supporters are now voting for mccain…sorryyyyy

  55. 155

Truthfully this is all Oprah's damn fault. Who decided she was anything close to a voice of reason for American's. Her opinion gave Obama a chance in the first place. Now the party that puts ALL American's first is torn apart. To hear though that people that are registered Democrats will be voting for McCain, is disturbing. If he wins and we have to suffer another 4 years under another ME-ME-ME Republican - I blame Oprah!

  56. 156

    MRS JETER, PT.1

Your ignorance to politics is showing more and more with each post. The fact that you know absolutely nothing about the war or why we are there just baffles me. All you flip flopping Hillary supporters out there kill me…tell me you didn’t demand a response after 9-11 and you will be fibbing as much as Hillary does. You forget it was a unanimous decision to start this war on terror. check your facts before you start calling people names like a 3 year old child, face it your not getting in the white house and all Hillary did last night was push more people to McCain. Instead of supporting Barrack Osama last night talked about herself and what she had achieved which nothing but a massive loss to her checking account and bills she has no intention of paying. You know nothing about me or what I have or don’t have or what believe in. I am sick of the dems taxing the hell out of me so some crack head can sit on they’re ass and squirt out a kid every year on my dime.

  57. 157

    PT.2

You talk about my father paying for collage, will he should I will pay for my children’s education as I have done for years now. I don’t EXPECT or fell that I am entitle to anything free. As for my vehicle if I want to drive a hummer that’s my business I pay for the gas what’s it to you? It doesn’t cost you a cent. if you tree hugging dems would approve drilling we wouldn’t have a oil crisis. We have never lost America we were just disgraced for awhile by the Clintons and they’re childish ways stealing white house china? Removing the entire W’s off the keyboards? Now that’s the ignorance you want to put in the white house give me a break.

  58. 158

such an amazing speech!! i still wish more than anything that she was the nominee, but i'll suck it up and vote for obama.

  59. 159

Re: Mrs.Jeter – If only it were that easy… A good part of it is that people just don't read. They get all their facts in easy to digest catchy blurbs and slogans from the news channels. Whoever talks about liberal bias is nuts - it's the money bias. The news runs whatever people will watch. They are a business and sometimes the truth is boring so they prefer to say outrageous scandalous things to get people to watch (See Fox's Obama/Biden = Osama Bin Laden segment). No one wants to learn anything, they just believe the last thing they heard. It's like the dark ages again.

  60. 160

Re: SKITTLES – It's crazy how you guys just spout the party line… I wish we could get the Dems good and brainwashed like that. At least they'd stay on message! My question is, what do YOU know about how this war started, or why they came after us in the first place. I'm hoping your answer will be "because they hate our freedom". Then this is an open and shut case. Let's hope the war on terror works out as well as the war on drugs.

  61. 161

Re: SKITTLES – Please re-read your uneducated post, although I thought you implied that you went to college…. it's ridiculously full of errors! :) smarty
Thank you for proving my point BTW. You sound like an even bigger idiot… and that's 4th grade to you! In any event, we don't belong there, never did and we need to pull our troops. That's the bottom line. That alone will keep you Rep.out of the White House. Hopefully all of your silly posts just reiterate (to all of us torn Dems) that voting for a Rep., no matter how we feel about Obama will only drag us down deeper. So thank you! As for your SUV, sure I don't pay for your gas, but I have kids too and I'm proud to be a tree hugger as you call it. Responsible people more like, not like you careless, selfish Republicans. We are taking a stand in many ways to better our environment. Another reason why my fellow Dems will soon remember why we need to stick together. As for the crack head on the corner… and you've probably paid for worse with all of your hookers-Lol. Seriously, why are Republicans so narrow minded? Do you honestly think that all of your tax dollars go to that stereotype? You better hope you don't ever have a relative in need of help. Maybe mental or physical disabilities. Have fun "pretending" to keep up with the Jones' because by the sound of your uneducated post, you could stand to go back to college… something only my side would help you obtain.

  62. 162

    Re: SweetAdeline

    "Because they hate our freedom".

Are you for real??? That is not why this war started; this war has been raging for years they just never really had a chance to attack us before 1993 and who was president? None other then your beloved “William J. Clinton”. When that attack went unanswered then they kept coming at us. does the U.S.S. Cole ring a bell? Somalia? Should I keep going or do YOU get the picture?? Our freedom is only a very small part of very big problem they have with us.

Hookers??? What the hell does that mean you sound like a child and i really feel sorry for your children because you are raising them to be just as low class and ridiculously ignorant as you seem to be. Why do you think I need someone to help pay for education? I have paid for it on my own as I don’t feel the need to beg for something that is a privilege and YOU SHOULD PAY YOUR OWN WAY PERIOD. But rest assure when you go get your food stamps and all the other freebies at the first of the mouth I did my share by paying my taxes so you could sit on your ass all day and troll the blogs looking to try and sound like you know a little something other baby making, instead of getting out in the world and making your own way instead of looking for a hand out.

I go away for a couple of hours and pandemonium breaks loose! Lets rewind a bit shall we, The dollar started it's downward spiral when Nixon removed the gold to dollar convertability which ultimately weakend the dollar. The second blow came in the form of Reaganomics, following Reaganomics we had Geaorge Bush SR. Who stated "Read my lips, no new taxes" following Bush, a breathe of fresh air came in the name of Bill Clinton who is responsible for welfare reform known as "the welfare to work act", the most job increase and leaving office w/ a surplus to inherit. As for crackheads spitting out babies , that is such a stereotypical statement, try teenage unprotected sex, yet another reason to support abortion since you don't want to pay for anyone's mistakes and foot the bill for social ills right?
As for "they hate freedoms" ( i now u didn;t say it) that is not y. They hate our foreign policy in regards to the Middle East.

  67. 167

Re: SKITTLES – #1- My post is not full of typos, but good comeback. Who's the child here? You however, are obviously not bright enough to even recognize your mistakes. #2- In your grammatically incorrect post, YOU mention that your Daddy paid for college, just like YOU have done for years with your own children. So again, I will call a spade a spade. As for your insinuation that because I SUPPORT the Democratic ways, that that implies I am a food stamp/ freebee/ handout recipient; how wrong you are! I have worked since I was 16 and never received a thing from your tax dollars. I have a college degree. In fact, I do well for myself… BY MYSELF. So keep your head in the clouds, and assume all of the narrow minded thoughts your pea-brain allows! As for me posting today, good observation. I always chuckle though when anyone on ANY blog pokes fun at other people for posting. Just like a true Republican, you are part of the problem and need to take a look in the mirror. HEY FELLOW DEMOCRATS- Will you listen to these people?!?!? I love Hillary too but you can't be serious and actually vote for McCain. Do you hear the ignorance, it's honestly making me sick.

Re: Mrs.Jeter – 1. Where in my post did I say My father paid for my education?? If you would kindly remove your head from your ass and go reread the post I stated he SHOULD pay for my collage it was his responsibility, I simply pointing out that it is the job of a parent to pay for they’re own children’s education and yes ma’am I do pay for my children’s education because I want them to have the best education they can possibly get.

    2. Congratulations for working since you were 16 but mat I ask why? If indeed you are so well educated (as I don’t believe you are) why didn’t you spend your time on your studies? Oh and yes I do believe you do everything on your own without the help of a spouse. either you’re a single woman who got herself knocked up or a bitter divorced woman who holds no value in the contract you entered into with a spouse.

My head is not in the clouds my eyes are wide open it is you who needs to do some research on your choice of candidates in this election. your who democratic party is seriously flawed to the point they are handing us republicans the white house on a silver platter and we thank you for that!

Re: Minx – a breathe of fresh air came in the name of Bill Clinton who is responsible for welfare reform known as "the welfare to work act", the most job increase and leaving office w/ a surplus to inherit.

Are you freaking pulling my leg? Breath of fresh air more like an adulterous stench in the nostrils of the morally correct citizens of the world. Welfare reform my ass! If this was such a good thing he did how come we still have welfare? Obliviously this so called act didn’t work drive past the welfare offices you will still see a parking lot full of cars. You want to reform welfare? I no how do away with it all together, welfare was put in place during the depression to help people out it was not meant to be used forever as a way to get out of working and earning your way through life. I don’t want to hear what about all the poor people who need it out there get off your ass and get a job McDonald’s is always hiring.
