    Re: Andy27

WELL THEN YOU'RE A COMPLETE JACKASS.

YOU'RE GOING TO VOTE FOR A MAN WHO WOULD RATHER YOU WERE DEAD BEACUSE YOU'RE GAY?

    YOU'RE A COMPLETE JACKASS.

  2. 102

perez…she supports gay benefits and vetoed a ban on ending gay benefits in alaska. she has many gay and lesbian friends and is far from a threat to the gay community.

look up your shit before you preach. you dont know what you're talking about. stick to what you're good at.

  3. 103

She's going to get eaten alive at the debates…..

  4. 104

    What's the problem?
    They both have Vaginas
    I cunt tell them apart

  5. 105

    Re: Francesmomto3
But look at the wealth of experiece McCain had to choose from? Why, then, Palin? I guess he thinks any woman would do.
    -
    -
Its highly unlikely McCain is going to woo any Dem who is Hillary supporter with someone like that.
    -
    -
I'm really shocked at his choice —

(nd I'm still laughing about my comment to a friend last night that he wouldn't pick Romney because he STAND the thought of someone having a BIGGER dick than him — and then he picks a woman - I was dead-on :)

  6. 106

haha, that was great…I like her. Good pick McCain.

  7. 107

Re: I luvDrgQns – By Old White Establishment Man Biden or will Joe be sending Neil Kinnock instead?

  8. 108

This is such an obvious pick, McCain is reaching too far….she is way too conservative for the 21st century America!!!

  9. 109

HAHA-ANTI-CHOICE, YOU MEAN SHE RESPECTS LIFE, SHE JUST GAVE BIRTH TO A DOWNS SYNDROME BABY THAT SHE REFUSED TO ABORT, UNLIKE 90% OF ABORTED BABIES.

I JUST FINISHED WATCHING HER SPEECH, SHE IS INCREDIBLE AND I THINK SHE'S PROBABLY THE ONLY POLITICIAN IN AMERICA. SHE' S AMAZING. I HOPE THEY WIN, IF NOT, AMERICAN VALUES ARE SCREWED!!!!

  10. 110

    1. every major candidate is "anti-gay."
    2. every major Republican is pro-life (not "anti-choice")
    3. You really should be more careful about your "politics" before you influence people who can believe what you write to be the absolute truth. If you feel you're qualified enough to write about politics when you know it will have an affect on how people vote, you should at least do your research. Our next president will likely appoint new justices to the Supreme Court, which will have more of an impact than anyone who gets elected. Don't automatically dismiss someone just because they're republican if you don't know where they stand. Guess what - I'm gay and I take my rights much too seriously to not take a minute to find out the truth. Maybe you can do the same and come up with your own conclusions instead of assuming democrat = "pro-gay."

  11. 111

Re: Andy27 – I salute you Andy! You are a wise young man.

  12. 112

Please, Perez. She's not 100% anti-gay. Even though you prefer Obama, don't distort the truth to readers who are less politically savvy. She allowed a policy that allows gay state workers partners to receive state benefits. The same benefits that married people get. Show her a little respect.

  13. 113

    OBAMA WHO??????

    LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

  14. 114

Re: WHORE1 – I FEEL LIKE A PARENT, BUT WHORE1, McCAIN DOESN'T WANT GAY PEOPLE DEAD, ARE YOU A MORON?

  15. 115

    Re: Andy27
Andy, honey, makes me sad that you feel this way — You state: Some things just need to follow their natural course.

Andy, I'm am not attacking you at all — but why do you think it would be unnatural for 2 people in love to marry?
    -
It just makes me sad that I think - that somewhere, deep down, you feel you are not as good because of your choices. I say you are EVERY BIT as good as the rest.

  16. 116

Re: I luvDrgQns – i DON'T THINK SHE'LL GET EATEN ALIVE AT THE DEBATES, I JUST SAW HER SPEECH, OFF THE CUFF, AND IT WAS AMAZING, SHE'S AMAZING, I GOT CHILLS. I THINK SHE SHOULD BE PREZ!!

  17. 117

Re: LULU~* – Allow me to make a correction, here. I guess I was vague, or not specific enough with my prior posts, sorry. I don't believe we, as gay people, should be denied fair treatment, safety, career opportunities, social respect or family love because we're gay. Absolutely not. I am IMMENSELY GRATEFUL for the laws that ban employers from descriminating on people because of their race/gender/faith/sexual orientation. The only two things I don't believe gay people should be crying about is the gay marriage and gay adoption thing. It's great that we, as a society, are learning to embrace other people's choices and interests, but there are certain things that I believe should be left untouched. I just feel that marriage and procreation are two things that are so closely tied with one another, that it would be wrong to fuck with it. If I could impregnate another man (naturally), then I'd probably believe that marriage was for us. Since only a guy and a girl can make a child, I think marriage should be for them only. Everyone else is certainly welcome to love and cherish whoever they choose. I see nothing wrong with that. Those are the only two things that I feel gay people shouldn't be awarded.

  18. 118

I really refrain from commenting on anything to do with American politics, as I am Canadian and am only half followin anything, but I wanted to comment about what Andy27 was saying.. yes, good for you for speaking your mind and being who you are. That's great, and something to be proud of. But like somebody else said, it's not giving homosexual people 'special' rights, just equal ones. You said it's a straight world and gay's should adapt. Well how can anybody adapt to a world where they're not legally allowed to do things that everybody else can do? It seems conflicting that you're both a Christian and an openly gay man, but if that works for you then great. To each his own. I just don't understand how you can say some of the things you say. People, all people, should be treated equally. That means everybody, gay or straight, should have the right to marry and adopt and do everything else they want to do.

  19. 119

I was a "Hilary supporter" and I can tell you right now that I wasn't voting for her based on her gender but because I agreed with a lot of her ideas and ideals. This no name woman assured my democratic vote (not that I was waivering) and I think it's insulting that people think "Hilary supporters" are going to just float to McCain because he stuck a female on his ticket.

Do you really want this woman as president should something happen to McCain? Get real people and think for yourselves.

  20. 120

    Re: Leona$ Gho$t

What about Michelle Obama and her getto ass, "my man, my baby's daddy."

  21. 121

    Re: honey97431

Actually, she gave birth to a baby with down syndrome. Also, when she got into office, the former governor purchased a private jet, she sold it on ebay for a profit. Also, the money the state made from gas taxes, she gave it back to the state to lower gas prices.

  22. OSSIM says – reply to this

    122

I think they said she is pro-choice.

  23. 123

    Great choice for him.

And anti-choice because she refused to abort her baby with downs-syndrome? WTF? She made a CHOICE not to abort her baby. Is she anti-choice because she chose NOT to abort? Why should she when she and her husband KNOW that they would love that baby regardless of his future learning capacity.

She's pretty, she has actual executive leadership, UNLIKE Obama, and she is all for getting us away from depending on foreign oil. As a special education teacher myself, I'll be interested to hear her ideas about education, particularly since her son will be getting services.

It's a great choice for him…if the Obama campaign goes after her for being inexperienced, they'll look like huge hypocrites.

  24. 124

    Re: Andy27 – I am now officially a fan of you… =)

  25. 125

YEAH….finally a woman! I am all over this and so are my friends! I cannot wait for her to become the FIRST WOMAN PRESIDENT…YOU GO JOHN…this woman is awesome
    Perez…quit your whining ass

  26. 126

WOW!! This woman proves that Obama did nothing, compared to her numerous accomplishments…..so little time and so much done, by her!! Obama said himself that the election has nothing to do with him….he is only there because of "you"…NOT BECAUSE OF ANYTHING HE HAS DONE, just because you stupid liberals wanted change….lol. That is hilarious. McCain just won the presidency, Grats! The right man has won, with heroism and brains, morals and strength….we have ourselves a wonderful Preident of the United States!! WOO HOO!!

  27. 127

    Re: lukey

Actually she does have experience. She's been the Governor for over 2 years, she has executive experience. She has also been a mayor. Obama has only been to work for 143 days, the rest of the time he's been campaigning. He's never even shown up to the committee meetings he heads. Go ahead and check the facts.

  28. 128

    Re: Andy27 – Andy27-You rock!

  29. OSSIM says – reply to this

    129

I think they said she is pro-choice…
    And she's for same-sex partner rights…
    Obama is in trouble.

  30. 130

Fantastic choice! So what if she's a lifetime NRA member? Guns don't kill people, people kill people. Violins don't play themselves, cars don't drive themselves, vacuum cleaners don't spontaneously start vacuuming, copiers don't make copies by themselves, you getting the picture?! They all require PEOPLE to operate them.

  31. 131

Soccer Mom to run most powerful country in the world. Milk and cookies served after every meeting. UGH!

  33. 133

Love the fact that she had class in her speech. She threw no insults, no dirt, just some information about herself and family. I like a lot of what she said no slandering at all. It’s refreshing to hear someone wanting to be less dependent on foreign oil and wants to drill our own and tell the rest of the world to kiss our ass. As for the whole wolf killing I don’t care that is not important to me; instead of worrying about the slaughter of wolves I worry about the slaughter of the American way!

  34. 134

    Re: LULU~*

Obama has less experience than her. He has no executive experience and hasn't been in charge of anything. The committee he heads, he's never even been to a meeting. He has 143 days of experience in the Senate, the rest of the time he's been on the campaign trail. She's been on a city council, a mayor, and a governor. I think she has way more experience than Barrack Obama.

  35. 135

    Re: CoDy A

No she doesn't, you should probably check your facts. She's actually has executive experience, 2 years worth. Obama has 143 days of being in the senate, the rest of the time he's campaigning.

    137

    ….I'm moving to Canada.

  38. 138

how ironic is it that mccain has taken every chance to mention baracks "lack " of experience, yet he chooses a woman who has been governor for 2years?its very offensive to us women everywhere for him to think he can just choose an inexperienced woman and now we are gonna all vote for him!! hilary clinton didnt get 18million votes because shes a woman.its because shes an EXPERIENCED & INTELLIGENT woman. congrats to mccain for making this election a landslide for us democrats

  39. 139

    duh she's republican!!

  40. 140

Re: Andy27 – I feel you Andy, a lot of people EXPECT me to jump on the "Affirmative Action" bandwagon because I'm Latino. I am against Affirmative Action, I think it coddles people. It says, "Hey you're inferior, you need help"… Nice to see you stand up for your point of you :)

  41. 141

    Re: cyatic910
so what. that is her man and her baby's dady.

  42. 142

    *
I'm voting for McCain & Pailn. Palin is NOT ANTI-GAY and she has more experience than Obama.
    *
She is PRO-LIFE not anti-choice same as I am.
    *
John McCain does not hesitate to say he believes life begins at the moment of conception.
    *
Without a teleprompter or prepared speech, this was the best Obama could come up with to answer the question of when life begins. "Whether you are looking at it from a theological perspective or a scientific perspective, answering that question with specificity is, you know, above my pay grade."
    *

  43. 143

In 1997 Obama voted "present" on two bills that would have prohibited partial-birth abortion (in the Illinois legislature, such a vote counts as a "no"). He effectively blocked his state's version of the Born Alive Infants Protection Act (BAIPA). This bill was proposed because some babies in Illinois who were meant to be aborted were born alive and then, unbelievably, were left to die in soiled store rooms. Look at how far out Obama was on this issue, by knowing that senators Hillary Clinton, John Kerry and Ted Kennedy all supported the federal BAIPA, and even the radical NARAL went neutral on it.
    *
The senator may not know when human life begins, but he sure knows that political life for a leftist Chicago politician ends when he fails to kow tow to the pro-abortionists. Abortion equals death for him when he must be truthful to people who will not agree with him. So, when questioned, he must default to a charade of ignorance.
    *
I will be shocked if America gives Obama the power to put judges in place to decide life and death issues. I consider his having any control over my life as "above his pay scale."
    *

  44. 144

She was the first governor of Alaska to extend work/health benefits for same sex partners. She is not necessarily anti-gay.

  45. 145

    Re: Astrochicks.com – jealously doesn't become you.

  46. 146

    *
Think of the consequences of the leader of the free world placing tough moral decisions above his pay-grade.
    *

  47. 147

It makes me oh-so-proud to be a gay man reading other gay men posting about how they don't want "special rights". What the hell!!??!! Take a history class and learn something about the holocaust!!! I suppose Andy27 believes that from his "personal point of view" that it god sanctioned because it goes against what he believes to be "natural".

There is no middle ground here, you just can't have it both ways. You are either provided unequivocally, equal basic human rights and respect (or as some like to call them "special rights"), or deal with the discrimination that the lack of having those rights protected will force you to suffer.

Oh…and just what does Governor Palin support? The Death Penalty.

  48. 148

Once again we have to hear the babbling about saving the "babies". Obviously her situation was different from others who don't have spouses or people to help them when they are faced with an unwanted pregnancy. I refuse to call it kiling a baby. It's just a way to guilt people and play with there emmotions. There a millions and miillions of unwanted children and orphans in this world. We don't need anymore unless of course you want to step up and take these poor kids. Obviously not enough people do or there wouldn't be so many children in distress and by children I mean ones that are here walking the earth. Love the fetus and ignore them once they're here and need help,

  49. 149

Why don't you put up her acceptance speech, Perez…….lol….BECAUSE IT IS BRILLIANT….i WAS BROUGHT TO TEARS BY HER STRENGTH AND CLASS! BREAKING THROUGH THE GLASS ROOF HAS NEVER BEEN SO EASY! SHOOT, I BET THE DEMOCRATS WISH THEY HAD FOUND HER FIRST, IN PLACE OF THAT DIMWIT OBAMA BIN LADIN!!

ROCK ON MCCAIN!You def have this election in the bag!!

  50. 150

She is NOT 100% anti-gay! She believes in gay rights, like the partner's right to make decisions in the hospital and to be recognized as being married. They just said this on CNN. Um, Glen Beck just decided to switch votes over to McCain, btw. I saw her speak. She is smart, respectful, and she just had a baby 4 months ago!! She is a mom of 5-the baby has down's syndrome. Her record is pretty clean. And she is all about cutting wasteful spending. so you may think twice before you label her a hillbilly or cunt!
    She has my vote!!!!

  51. 151

i fucking love craig ferguson :)
and sarah palin is about as scary as mccain!

  52. 152

Re: shazamm – No she won't get eaten alive at the debates. She is classy and smart. Her nickname in school was Sarah Barracuda because is tough!!!! :) Go Sarah!

  53. 153

    Re: honey97431
The child with down syndrome is actually hers, he was born in April.
    I'm so excited about Sarah!

  54. 154

She's pro-life and against gay MARRIAGE.
She is for BENEFITS for gay couples though, and supports education and resources that will prevent women from getting into a situation where they will need an abortion.
And obviously abortion is never going to be made illegal. It's just not going to happen no matter who's president.

I am completely ashamed of all these uninformed idiots, apparently Perez is one as well, calling her "closed minded" when what they don't know is that she has been reforming the Republican party, and contrary to the die-hard religious GOPs, she actually has common sense and believes in compromise.

Before you bash someone, you need to know your info on them so you can actually make an intelligent reply. Otherwise no one will take you seriously.

  55. 155

Actually, she is not "Anti-Gay". She is not in favor of gay marriage, HOWEVER, she has gone on record as saying she has gay friends and has also used her power of VETO to shoot down a bill that would keep same sex partners of state employees from receiving health benefits. So actually, she gave same sex partners the right to both have insurance benefits TOGETHER if one of them worked for the state. They cannot get married but they CAN get benefits, as partners. I'd say that is pretty liberal for a Republican.

  56. 156

Re: Andy27 – Andy I like your honesty. Sometimes a guy and a girl can't make a baby so they adopt. I think gay couples should have this right too.

  57. 157

    Perez-
I understand that due to the fact that you are a gay man living in California making money off of a website that bashes people you aspire to be like…you are pretty much required to be a Democrat. That's cool. This is your website so you are welcome to voice all the opinions you want. That's one of the great benefits of being an American. I enjoy your site and tune in daily…you're a very funny guy. I don't know celebrities…I don't see them on a daily basis…I take your word for their shortcomings. Politics, however, is a little different. I have totally changed my view of this website based on your shotty politics. You might want to get all of your facts straight before posting in the future. Most of the political jargin you have posted is a joke. We get that you are a democrat…you could make posts of this fact alone and make a huge impact on the party; however, instead you post these fantastic incomplete stories. What a sham?! Anyone who even occasionally keeps up on politics knows you are full of shit.

PS Sarah Palin is against Gay Marriage however her very first veto in office was to against revoking gay partner privilege's. Breakdown: She actually likes gay people and believes that their partners should be taken care of.

  58. 158

    Re: Andy27
wow- you just became my gay hero!!!!
I wish there were more out there like you! God Bless you Andy… THANK YOU for your intelligent opinion!

  59. 159

Re: Andy27 – What are you about? Other countries have gay rights and America should also. Shut the fuck up OK!

  60. 160

Re: Andy27 – sorry boy but people like u make me sick, i am also gay but i think if the laws towards gays changed they would see that we are not all empty and shallow like you, i have dreams and aspirations and it hurts me to know that people wanna have any right in it, growing up i never dreamed of having a family or anything i though i would never be able to, that only straight people get to do that, i had to hide it all i did because i didn't want to be judge unfairly. i see many gay man just having sex with random guys and they don't ever talk about starting a family. two guys a family?? yeah sounds crazy. well if the laws changed and it will, nobody will ever have to hide. so if i ever have a kid he or she will know that sexuality is a minor thing and being in love is the greatest thing. they won't be tied to just posting ads on craigslist for the rest of their liveS!!!!

  61. 161

I am simply shocked at McCain's choice for VP. There are more qualified women leaders then this Alaska nobody. John will have to answer why he passed on US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice who has more qualifications then Sarah "Homebody".

  62. 162

Re: Moimeme – I CAN also have an OPINION! Thanks :)

  63. 163

Actually, she is not anti-gay. She was in favor of benefits for same sex couples that equal those of heterosexual couples.

As much as I am in favor of gay marriage, and as much as I am pro-choice, these are NOT the only issues that one can look at when voting. I know it's a touchy subject, and as I said, if I had my way, anyone who wanted to get married would be able to. But there are other political issues that should be given attention as well.

  64. 164

Re: Twoboys2 – maybe if we called abortion killing a puppy instead you'd be able to show some concern.

  65. 165

McCain may not say he's pro-choice, but Cindy is and at the very least Roe v. Wade will not be overturned with him as President. Palin is an absolutely brilliant choice!! I bet Obama/Biden's PR machine is frantic, LOL!

  66. 166

Time Magazine article about Sarah Palin:
"She also surprised her state's conservatives by vetoing a bill that would have denied state benefits to same-sex couples. "
do your research before you start talking smack Perez!!

  67. 167

Not only is she Anti Gay and Anti Choice, her record for conservation is atrocious! Her & her cronies are responsible for the arial shooting of wolves and the slaughter of their pups in the dens, and this woman could be vice pres?

  68. 168

I have alot of concern. Concern for the children that are here on earth who are being ignored or abused. God's judgement is the only judgement I care about. Not some screwball church or their views. I adopted two children who were in foster care. How many of the babbling yahoos out there do their part?

  69. 169

My feminist ways are screaming to like her but i just can't…. my bleeding liberal heart wont let me… thank the goddess.

  70. 170

She's govenor of alaska for GODsake what kind of worries do they have? Will the winter be harsh? Are their any loose bears walking around? the traffic is so darn heavy and the air so bad jeese. Yeah those alaskans boy they got it ROUGH EAST SIDE!

  71. 171

At least she's not a hypocrite, and she does practice what she preaches; she's pro-life and didn't abort her Down Syndrome baby; a lot of people would *say* they're pro-life but abort once they find their baby has something wrong, but she didn't.To me, that shows true character and integrity.
It does seem to me to be a contradiction though to be pro-life and pro-gun…

  72. 172

it is all for the oil…but thankfully we all know that obama has no chance of winning because someway mccain will win even though he will not get the most votes but because the GOVT is all corrupt. They will put in office who they want in office.

  73. 173

    Andy27 is a fucking idiot.

Politics and religion should not be mixed, you believe some things, good for you, i don't. So why should I be denied the right to get married simply because it's against one's god i don't think exists?

Invoking the natural ways and stuff is retarded, that's when you're out of argument, you just rely on something that can't be proved and which people have been blindly following for years.

Yeah it's true, it's too hard to think by yourself.

An when it comes to the pro-life/anti-choice debate, it's just semantics people, don't try and hide your beliefs behind words. Allowing people to abort is not MAKING them. So quit whinning, don't abort and leave the people the fuck alone.

  74. 174

    Re: Shaychm – ur smart!!!!

  75. 175

I LOVE CRAIG FERGUSON!!! This must be really old, though, because he became a real US citizen earlier this year.

  76. 176

Re: Andy27 – Andy, I swear honey, you are an amazing young man. I sure hope your parents are proud of you….cause I sure am.

  77. 177

    Re: Andy27
    Andy, you are a dear!
I love your honesty and I share your beliefs. Growing up with several male gay friends in my youth group at church, they were proud of their religious values and also were happy with themselves and were not ashamed of their sexual orientation. I am very happy to see someone like you talking about how you feel and not ashamed of this. I am sure your parents are quite proud of you. What a lovely person you are.
    :-)

  78. 178

Re: honey97431 – She didn't adopt a down syndrome toddler, she gave birth to a baby in April with down's synydrome.

  79. 179

Even though she's against gay marriage, she helped get benefits from companies in Alaska to gay couples. Everyone has different opinions on things, so just because she doesn't agree with you doesn't mean she's not as qualified as anyone else.

  80. 180

Re: Paty – I can respect your view on things even if it doesn't agree with mine….Have a great Labor day weekend girl and glad you are someone who stands up for what you believe in.

  81. 181

Re: PaulineRe: Euli – Thank you for metioning this becuase she is truly every animal advocates worst nightmare, maybe we could chase her with helicopter and see how far she gets…Go Dems!

  82. 182

Re: TRUTHHURTS – absolutely. i would never agree with something other then that.

  83. 183

Calling someone "anti-choice" for being pro-life is like a pro-lifer calling someone pro-choice "anti-life". Ridiculous on both counts.

  84. Kam says – reply to this

    184

What a horrible pick. How sexist can the McCain camp get. The pundits on cable news, especially FOX, needs to hammer Palin on experience just as they did Obama. The McCain camp only picked her because she is a woman. Most Clinton supporters wont go for this, becasue they voted for Hilary because she has experience, not becasue she is a woman.

You cannot argue the fact that McCain's pick is NOT sexist.
    1. pick a man like Romney or Lieberman that has years of executive experience
    2. pick a woman from Alaska (of all places) who has done virtually nothing in her career.

  85. 185

    Re: kanga3
Hallelluya for people well informed!!! In fact she has gay friends and is more "pro gay" than Perez think.

Too bad Perez, that when honest people report facts in your posts, that you can easily check in the internet, you continue to lie blantantly about a person just because she's a republican. Repeat a lie a million times and it will become a truth. Such commie tactic. *Cough*

Must hurt that MCCain's choice for VP, has more executive experience in her toe than the democrat presidential candidate.

Re: Kam – Gads you people suck. "What a horrible pick.

What a horrible pick. How sexist can the Democrat camp get. The pundits on cable news, especially FOX, needs to hammer Obama on experience just as they did Paladin. The Democrat camp only picked him because he is a negro. … You cannot argue the fact that the Dems's pick is NOT racist.
    1. pick a man like Al Gore or Edwards that has years of executive experience
    2. pick a man from Chicago (of all places) who has done virtually nothing in his career.

Re: alcoori – Andy, Andy, Andy,…. Scary to see how many people just LOVE a gay person who doesn't feel that he deserves the same rights as everyone else!
I'm sure these same people would also love Obama….as long as he didn't feel that he was entitled to be President, & was satisfied sitting in the back of the bus.
With all the other 2nd class citizens.

    Re: Andy27
Hi Andy, I can certainly understand your point of view. However I can`t agree with you. I`m straight and married to the man I love and I can`t see why my gay friends shouldnt have the same rights as us. If a gay couple got married, that would in no way as you say "fuck with" all the straight marriages around. Heterosexual marriage wouldnt cease to exist, or decline because of it. The only thing that gay marriage WILL do, is give alot of men and women more stability in theire lives. Also: not all marriages result in children, by your standards they must. Are straight marriages without children of lesser value?
Same goes for adoption. Millions of children have only one caretaker, and we are all fine with that. Whats wrong with having 2 loving parents? Gender is of no consequense in my mind. Gays should ofcourse be held to the same standars of adopting as straights. Not all straight people should have children, nor should all gays. But there are always exeptions. With so many children needing parents and so many straight people making babies without taking care of them, well I think being gay is perfectly natural. In fact I think it a solution to many problems. 1. we are over populating the planet 2. children need parents. So when you speak of God, dont quote the bible. If God created everything.. Then we are all equall.

So McCain picked a woman to be his VP in an effort to pull in disappointed Hillary fans…

What does she have in common with Clinton? A uterus! That's all, and that's not enough.

She is simply a pretty female representative of the Republican's hate and fear-driven policies.

    Thanks, but no thanks.

  90. 190

She is one hell of an upgrade from Joe "Foot In Mouth" Biden. See Truth Accordig To Tom

  91. 191

She sounds horrible. But then again McCain picked her so there you go…yuck.

  92. 192

STOP SMEARING HER. SHE IS NOT AGAINST GAYS! YOU REALLY DON'T KNOW SHIT!

  93. 193

actually, she is not homophobic. she actually veto-ed a bill that would have prevented same sex couples from receiving each others state benefits. so…. yeah… still mccain sucks. but this lady is actually pretty cool. they call her husband "First dude" you should do a little research before you actually jump on the bandwagon. The race will actually be interesting now.

    Re: Andy27

Andy, I tip my hat to you. You are a brave soul and I admire you greatly. I have never read anything like that and admire you're courage. It's refreshing to see someone on here who is educated and unselfish.

Also, for those of you who are freaking out about Palin being "anti-choice," in case you have forgotten, if Roe v. Wade is overturned it doesn't mean abortion will be abolished, it will just go to the states to decide, like it should.

Oh, and you made a choice ladies when you decided to not keep your legs closed. And for those of you thinking "well a man doesn't have to give birth, why should the woman be punished?" this is coming from woman who sees her ability to give birth as a gift not as a punishment that makes me less of a person than a man. We women are strong and every single mother out there is living proof of it. If anything it makes us even more special. Put that in your pipe and smoke it!

Oh, and it's not unbiased when you're a woman who is against abortion, in case anyone wants to try to bring my username into this.

    Re: Twoboys2

I refuse to call it kiling a baby. It's just a way to guilt people and play with there emmotions.

    —-

So you know it is killing a baby, you just don't want to call it that? That my friend is called fascism. And yeah, you feel guilty when you are able to accept that. It's really not uncommon. "Oh, Jimmy robbed a bank but let's call it 'his choice of getting by in life' because we don't want him to feel guilty about it or wanting to do it again in the future because it's his choice."

  98. 198

Why does making her pro gun naughty? Do you really think criminals care what laws the Brady camp can brainwash politicians to pass? No and that's why they are criminals. I want to have the right to protect MY family and loved ones from the assholes who have no respect for MY right live peacefully.

And Lukey, Obama barely has any experience at all too. Do you want him running our country? Hell his own VP candidate said on live TV while standing next to Obama saying that he doesn't think that Obama has enough experience to run the country effectively. THEN later says that he would be honored to run against or WITH McCain. Was Obama really that desperate for a VP candidate? Apparently.

Re: Andy27 – I don't know what I find more disturbing, your backwards logic or your growing following. I didn't realize that marriage was an institution made strictly for procreation. What do you make of couples who marry who are physically incapable of producing children or (gasp) simply chose not to? Should they not be allowed to marry? Marriage, with or without children, comes with dozens of rights that gay should be as privy to as their straight counterparts. Assuming that you chose to seek a monogamous partner, how would you feel if you were denied visitation rights for being unmarried? Or getting burned on your taxes for the same reason? In the matter of adoption, should thousands of children be denied the care that only a constant parent can give to be shuffled between dozen of foster care homes? As for your followers, I'm saddened (but unsurprised) to find other people subscribing to the brand of 'tolerance' so many Americans favor, that being something along the lines of 'gay are fun to have around until they get too close for comfort'. Andy's idea of gays not given 'special rights' allows straights to keep us at arms length; good for comedic relief without ever having to be made uncomfortable at the thought of them functioning as moms, dads, or lovers as they do.

For the love of god, people are such sheep! Governor Palin is not anti-gay. She IS against gay marriage, but she actually has gay friends and is receptive to their concerns about discrimination. She actually vetoed legislation in Alaska that would have prevented the state from granting benefits to the partners of gay state employees. Thus, she actually HELPED grant State of Alaska benefits to same-sex couples. Come on, people! Do some bloody research before you start to slander people!
