I think so much is being made about speeches and vp picks that we have forgotten why we are supporting our particular candidate. When Obama said "enough" It was like I had been holding my breath and only now was I able to exhale. Enough, yes, I am a democrat but when Al Gore lost the election I got over it and decided to support my president, stand behind him, because that what Americans do. However I began to realize that this president did not care about me, my family or my loyalty. The unemployment rate is at an all time low, gas prices are so high people have to make choices they never had to make before,banks failing at a record rate and our fellow Americans are dying in a war that seems to have no end. I just can not believe that it is still such a close race. Yes, Obama has his disadvantages, and both candidates have a certain fakeness and nauseating amounts of patriotism (sorry, all this God bless america stuff is soo making me vomit). But Obama is still soooo much better than McCain, especially at this point in time. And if half of America is too stupid to see that, Europe and the rest of the world will probably turn its back even more on America. Sad.
