So, what does Team Barack think about John McCain's choice of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin to be his Vice Presidential running mate.
Well, Obama's spokesperson, Bill Burton, says:
"Today, John McCain put the former mayor of a town of 9,000 with zero foreign policy experience a heartbeat away from the presidency," Obama spokesman Bill Burton said in a statement.
Burton also criticized Palin as a vice presidential pick for her support of oil drilling in the Alaskan wilderness and her anti-abortion stance, referring to the 1973 Supreme Court decision that made abortion legal in the United States.
"Governor Palin shares John McCain's commitment to overturning Roe v. Wade, the agenda of Big Oil and continuing George Bush's failed economic policies. That's not the change we need, it's just more of the same," he said.
So, that's what they say.

She has zero foreign policy experience. Some of you are saying that Obama has zero as well. That's not true. He's just limited in that department. That's where Biden will help pick up the slack. First, Obama has more foriegn policy and domestic experience.

2. She was a mayor and then/now a governor…BOTH are executive positions where you have to make the decisions, balance the budget…
3. Palin has actually banked MORE legislative hours/experience despite being pregnant then Obama has–whats his excuse again?
4. She has over 80% approval rating for her state and CUT spending/taxes–what again has Obama accomplished while in the Senate considering more than 75% of the time he voted "abstain" instead of taking a yes/no position
Sarah Palin has MORE experience than B. Hussein Obama and she isn't even running for the presidency.

As to the other comments regarding that she is anti-gay..read her bio on wikipedia. She has MANY gay/lesbian friends and states she is for equal benefits but opposes gay marriage and believes in civil unions. That is a big difference between being "anti-gay" as some are calling her.
