    THANK YOU!
That story along w/ Leopold and Loeb were the first Chicago stories I learned :) . I grew up in Naperville, IL.

  3. 903

I was curious. You know how men who come back from the war have PTS and a lot of them actually are violent to their wives, etc. I know McCain has previously called his wife a cunt in front of others, do you think it is possible her hand injury was a result of violence directed at her?

I am curious if the 'incident' they say caused her to go to the hospital was videotaped or if it wasn't? Just seems a bit strange to me, knowing how much strain he is under, and we all know he has a temper. You always hear about these things happening 'behind the scenes' in tell-all books AFTER the fact, and in this case, things like that actually all make sense.

He's a womanizer, admittedly over many months, I've seen videos of him mistreating women reporters, I saw the new video of him oogling Palin's butt during the entire press conference on Friday, and it just kinda makes sense. Look at all the other political stories that we never find out about until after it is over. It would be a major story.

Re: Minx – You want to seriously tell me you don’t know why we went to Iraq? That disappoints me you know saddam was a threat, Iraq was trying to get nuclear capabilities not mention the genocide that was happening. They also were a hot bed for terrorism. Bin laden is not in Afghanistan I think he is in Pakistan or Iran do we want to go there?

More than that, we told the Saudi's we would get out of their country. They were no longer going to allow us to operate military bases there. We needed to move operations and Iraq made sense. We would be able to stay in the region and eliminate a tyrant at the same time. Win, win. Don't kid yourself, this wasn't completely noble. We were always looking out for our interests.

Squirrel this is not Obama's rhetoric but a true fact.
I research each politician I don't take any politician at their word. Pull the Congressional Quarterly voting records. To make things easy I sometimes use factcheck.org , Christian Science Monitor, Senate.Obama.org, Rand.org
Since I can't use my text books or research materials I have compiled over the years.

  10. 910

First of all, Perez doesn't seem to know what "skeletons" are. This isn't something that was being hidden nor is it even scandalous.

Secondly, Palin is not your typical Republican, rather, she's pretty moderate. She all for bi-partisan reform. But of course, Perez, you don't do real research do you? She's for gay rights such as benefits, excluding the title as a married couple, which I think is a big step for the Republicans in order stop fighting with the Democrats in a time that we really need to stand together as a country.

Thirdly, for all of you calling McCain Hitler is as ignorant as the Conservatives naming Obama as the Anti-Christ. Please stop. You're making Americans seem dumber than they really are.

    Peace.

Re: Andy27 I agree although isn't looking for another girl… saw a comment from u hrs. ago [haven't been ableto log in since 5 est] about gay thing and this woman isn't against gays, just gay marriage and u also though gay agreed with no gay marriage… and i knew than that u weren't just hot but that i think i love u even though i've the wrong errrr equipment.. I wanted Romney& never heard of this woman…Alaska? she shoots moose and fishes??? Guess that's needed on a resume 4 VP. No Obama, distant cousin of Osama. Friends of mine from Greenwich where I lived, lost husbands that day. Was thinking of moving to Grand Cayman as being a girl, hormonal & such we don't belong running a country.. no way… but sadly G.C. has all but been wiped out with this hurricane…so guess I can't ask u to move with me..lots of cute guys there too.. u are hot and sweet to boot. m.ct. hug

    Re: SKITTLES
This is going to be long as I already know where you stand on Iraq. the fact of the matter is after the dismantling of the Soviet Union the nukes they had have been scattered to the four winds and are on the black market. Bush commented on the "axis of evil" in regards to the war on terror. According to him the "axis of Evil" were N. Korea, Iran and Iraq… now, Osama had a million training bases for Al Qeada, The country most aggressively seeking Nuclear technology were Iran and North Korea, the weapons Inspectors whom were in Iraq said it Highly unlikely that Iraq had WMD's Bush went to the U.N and the UN said no to invading a sovereign nation when no findings justify an attck hence why we had to go it alone. With that said we went and now we're stuck. Now Saddam was an evil SOB but you know what even if we "liberated" a people that was not the mission and don't sell me this Kindness of our hearts ideology b/c our gov't doesn' do that. Our gov't does things in the name of corporations. The world is filled w/ brutal dictators, Bush book ended this war w/ atleast we deposed a brutal dictator. the Iraqi people thanks us and want us gone. Why are we still there? I have a pretty good idea but I'm interested to hear other peoples opinions.

    Re: SKITTLES – Post 916
We will remain in Iraq for the foreseeable future. McCain nor Obama will pull out all of the troops. Obama wants to make you think we will bring the troops home but that is not the complete truth. Obama will leave troops there just like McCain will. We have bases built and are fully committed to ensuring Iraq remains stable and safe. The bases we have in Iraq are no different than the ones we have in Germany, England, Korea, Japan, Spain, the Philippines, Guam. America is everywhere.

  20. 920

Perez, first I couldn't log in here all day and now you're not posting my comments, two of them to Andy 27.. one comment and one comment on a comment…What's the deal Perez? not fair and by the way the woman, though I don't want a woman in there, i wanted Romney , is NOT anti gay… she's anti gay marriage and that's a big difference. People should love whom they want but marriage is an institution between man and woman.Always has been, always will. Can't help who you love and that's fine but there's a fine line about how things should be. We all need love and same sex love is fine if it's ur thing but not marriage… Obama we're doomed, dead, he hates that he's part white and told Germany that he's ashamed of Americans… my President no way, not for me… And now McCain has picked a young girl with hormones…. so not good, esp. if done to get Hillary votes. We get rid of that woman and her baggage and wind up with another woman… Not even sure I'll vote now…It's sad…I'd like to live and not be attacked again and I don't think the Democrats are worried about that… Anyhow where are my comments to sweet Andy??? m.ct.

  21. 921

    Hey Minx
John Hagee is an evangelical pastor. John McCain is Episcopalian. Don't know where you dug up that Hagee is McCain's pastor but that just isn't true. He endorsed McCain just like the local plumbers union can do that doesn't mean John McCain is a plumber. Maybe get the facts before you make your posts sound like fact when they are not.

  22. 922

One thing I wish they would have touched on, Palin's "family affair"… the state trooper in question has a long history of domestic violence, tasered her11 year old nephew (his step son) and threatened to put a bullet in her father. Fired? How about LOCKED UP?

  23. 923

Re: YoMomma perhaps you don't notice that they've kept us free from attack since 9/11. Guess u didn't loose anyone u knew that day. If ur a female talking potty mouth isn't appealing and doesn't endear u to guys either. It's not girl language on a public message board…

Minx, whether it was right or wrong, we're there now. We have to complete the mission. I can also tell you from experience, the Iraqi's are very happy Saddam is gone, I was there. I think it critical that we finish there. The surge has worked wonderfully, like I said we need to finish the job. I was also in Mombasa, Kenya on a humanitarian mission as a Marine. We do do humanitarian missions, they're not all broadcast on the news or written about. Not all of America gets briefed on every mission we conduct.

  32. 932

    Re: Minx
thanks, she's one of my cats. I think these pastors/televangelists are just voicing their support of McCain. He doesn't attend either of their churches. It is something the newsmedia will put out there but it isn't true. Just like the headlines of this post-there is no skeletons in this ladies past-she has an issue with her brother in law. It isn't secret. It is important to actually dig to find out the truth about people. I never read one source and believe it especially with such a biased media. People are saying this lady is anti gay but she was one of the first to give rights to gay couples. It just depends on how people twist their words. She believes marriage is between a man and a woman but she also is a sensitive person who wanted them to have rights. Yet the media will label her anti gay. I wish all media were unbiased but that will never happen. So I will dig for myself to glean the truth. This seems to be an intelligent, fiesty, fair lady and we need to give her a chance to speak for herself. My opinion anyhow for what it is worth.

  33. 933

    Re: cyatic910
I agree with the 92% who chose to not increase prevalence of DS = legal abortion of an embryo.
I object to euthanizing patients with DS = murder of a fully developed human being.

Common ethical standard is to prevent disease and suffering, not promote it … I guess you can call a person (like Sarah Palin) not following this simple principle "cruel".

  34. 934

    Re: cyatic910
I wish more americans knew about what our military does. I thank you for your service. Our media does not want people to know that things are going better in Iraq. They want things to be stirred up over here to get their agenda accomplished and that is an Obama presidency. If we pull out of Iraq, Iran, and the other neighboring countries will rush in. I'm sick of people saying we are there for oil because that isn't true. My best friend's son was in Iraq for three tours and he also wants to finish the mission. I'm glad there are people like you who will speak the truth. Semper Fi.

  35. 935

Ok now I need to go to bed the wine has taken control of my brain. Good night my loves :)

  36. 936

    Re: Darrynito
are you saying that when people find out they are carrying a baby with DS-they should abort it? I had a friend whose blood tests showed a fetus with a likelihood of having DS-she had the baby and the baby was fine. She should have aborted her child in your opinion? Are children with DS less than children without it? If a child is born with crossed eyes-should you kill them? If one arm is shorter than the other, should we kill it? This is an awful slippery slope. I'm sure hoping I'm reading your post incorrectly.

  37. 937

    Re: Darrynito – - #937
These tests are about 87% correct. Check with the Royal College of Surgeons, USA today even did a story on this. That's a 13% chance of being wrong. What if you were to get a false positive and aborted a healthy child? Is a child not worth the risk? I have 2 kids and one on the way. We decided not to take the tests. We would keep the child no matter what, why worry if something was wrong. We'll still love and care for our child no matter what.

Re: Xandria Women are not so impetuous as to change their vote to McCain just because Clinton lost in the running. It's silly, and even demeaning to women to suggest that because he chose a women for his running-mate they will change their vote. We do have brains, not controlled by gender bias.

Having said that there will indeed be some women voting for McCain just because he does have a woman VP. I don't care if you think it's demeaning. The REAL world doesn't care about political correctness of offending anyone.

    Remember, nature is a whore.

  41. 941

Re: cyatic910I think you need to read up on history, the DNC just went on. Every candidate gets a boost after their convention. Why is he a dumbass, because he picked a woman who has experience as a city council member, mayor, and governor? She's been in charge of the military, National Guard CIC. She against unecessary spending, in fact she sold a jet that was purchased with public funds on ebay and returned the money to the state. She has raised 5 children and taken on her own corrupt party there in Alaska, and won! She has more experience than Obama who is his party's front-runner. Obama has only shown up to work a total of 143 days, what has he been in charge of? McCain has addressed that issue and said he regreted it. War does change a man though. I have been in two so far and I can't imagine what it would be like to be constantly tortured like McCain was for years. Would you be ok if someone broke your arms and tortured you for years? He was also offered a chance to be released early, and declined it.

Hell yes I remember that Jet incident. The person in office before her was spending spending spending. She sold his jet on Ebay or something.

  42. 942

Re: Meg_Mo which to me, sounds fucking stupid. "No thanks, I'd like to stay longer for some more torture, it seems like fun!" Being a POW does not make you the perfect presidential candidate. The end.

Meg usually to get out early, one must sell out his or her country. So instead of doing that, he'd rather stay there. I would say that had a TON to say about his character.

  43. 943

Re: CrazyMomma you're going to rely on Palin to run the country? Where is the common sense in that?
Why? Because she has a vagina she wont able to do it? Was that a sexist remark? She is more qualified that Obama.

  44. 944

[re=2813994]Re: JokerBaby She is the best the country has going for it, since
our wonderful Hilary was stolen away.[/re]

I love the words you choose to use. Instead of being honest and saying "Hillary just wasn't that liked enough to get it" You act as if something wrong was done to you. That someone stole her away..

Geezuuuus on rice in crackers that kind of intellectual dishonesty is what people need to stop doing. It's called self deluding.

  45. 945

Re: Anonymous – BTW I am not FOR murdering babies. But if someone wants to murder one.. I am not going to stop them.. That's basically what you just said.

And BTW over 80-90% of abortions are performed for birth control reasons.

If we could just make THOSE illegal then I'd be happy. I can understand if someone was raped by their farther.. etc. But those only make up a smal small amount of abortions.

  48. 948

Re: Ali7777 lets not forget about the serious debt Bush and his reign of terror has brought upon the country! this effects even us in Canada. You can see through his agenda- picking a woman because Hillary did not get picked

See Ali7777 When you balance the budget by cutting both Military and Intelligence spending in half, during a time we are getting attacked by terrorist (we've been attacked more in the 90s than we have in the 2ks) Well That's just plain silly to do. So at the end of this president's presidency and at the beginning of another we get attacked again. This time a different president is in office. He decides "Hmm maybe those military and intelligence spending cuts shouldn't have happened. So we as a country have to pour more money into it because we are being attacked. And now the left whine about it. Well if they would have just left it alone like you are supposed to (Any idiot could have balanced the budget the way Clinton did) We;d not be in this over-exaggerated mess. And as far as why McCain choose who he did, you are making baseless accusations.

  49. 949

Re: cyatic910 Why is she a disgrace to women? Could you explain and backup that view? – She isn't. So women believe since she doesn't believe in murdering her young that she's a disgrace.

Funny how that works. Up is down. Right is Wrong.

  52. 952

Re: Squirrel Please research this for yourself. This is an over-statement by Obama and you are buying into his rhetoric. If you look deeper you will find that McCain only voted with Bush on key issues 21 out of 32 times. The figure gets inflated by meaningless legislation that everyone votes yea on. What is Obama's voting record with Bush? – Not only that Biden himself told Kerry in the last election to ask McCain to be his vice president. The left at the time was using McCain as a anti-Bush mouthpiece with a book he wrote. And now they are trying to paint him as being just like Bush. *rolleyes*. I love the flip flops of the left. Too bad that their sound clips and tings they say get recorded and they look like dumbshits later.

Depends what you mean. There will always be people there. There was people there before the war. But as far as Iraq goes, they will be running their own. And we wont have anything to do with it. But I am glad to see you telling the people that keep harping about this being for oil to not even respond.

  54. 954

Re: SKITTLES Lets not leave Iraq twisting in the wind again!

Amen! I was PISSED at Bush SR for doing that. When Clinton came on wagging his finger saying he would be HARDER on IRaq than Clinton was, I was ALL FOR HIM. I even voted for him (naive 18 year old then..) and he did SHIT. I mean he said Iraq had nukes and WMDs and all. No one called him a liar. And he did send bombs over there and killed lots of people. But but was only during Monicagate. I am sure he wasn't doing it just to take attention away from that. Bill is an upstanding guy…

  55. 955

  56. 956

If the rumor turned out to be true, the only thing I would hold against Palin was that she lied about being the mother to protect her daughter's private life. That is a venial sin in my mind when you look at the more valiant big picture. I doubt that girl is mature enough to raise a baby. Rural areas are known for high teenage pregnancy rates due mainly to boredom. It's a sad but true fact.

  57. 957

Re: SKITTLES – It's interesting… as I've been reading through the pages here, I notice that you have been posting repeatedly as if it's your own personal blog. I didn't count your silly posts, but you're laced all through here.
The funny thing is, you don't seem to realize how obvious it is that you're also "Squirrel" — and you talk to your self… desperate for attention (you as "Squirrel" commented on teh flag avi), you switch to something bound to be inflammatory.
    .
The Yahoo boards where extreme righties like you could argue all night have been shut down, and most blogs limit teh number of posts by one (or two) IDs so you've come to a gossip site to spiel your pseudo-intellectual right-wing drivel. Pathetic.

  58. 958

Re: pippin1 – ""but she also is a sensitive person "" Hmmm… a sensitive person who brags about getting pleasure from blowing away animals. A sensitive person who aggressively promotes the AERIAL slaughter of wolves, running them down until they're exhausted then slaughtering them; enacting an 80% kill rule in some areas…
    .
A sensitive person who has scrabbled and pulled strings to block the Bush administration's move to put the Polar Bear on the endangered species list and why?? Because she's an avid fan of killing animals for fun and a big NRA front girl — she's gotta protect the interests of the lobby that got her into her little power seats.
    .
Oh, yeah.. A sensitive person who haggles to get Big Oil into the Alsakan Refuge so the 6 months worth of oil can be drained out of one of a magnificent area that we ALL have a right to as a global legacy… a sensitive person who thinks her DNA is so special that she pops out 5 kids (when overpopulation is one of the main threats to global health), and then rides on her NARROW interpretation of her pet version of teh Bible to try to control other women's reproductive choices.
Palin is a beauty queen front person for the NRA and Big Oil — do your homework.

I'm an independent why? Because I learned very early that this two party system only work for the politicians in them not the American people. I as well as tens of thoudsands of people left to pick up the pieces after losing family in 9-11 have been patiently waiting for Bin Ladens hide. So, if all you can do is call me names knock yourself out. I'm voting Democrat because I don't hate myself enough for being white, male, educated, straight or middle class.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe that the best strategy in war is defeat. It broadens the mind to learn Japanese, German and Arabic. Talk about multiculturalism!

I'm voting Democrat because I want to assume absolutely no personal responsibility for my actions.

I'm voting Democrat because I've been whining like a ritalin-marinated toddler on a temper tantrum about my candidate having won a Presidential election for the last eight years, and I want to be right for once.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe that if I don't have enough money, the solution is for the government to take more of my money. Who needs money when gas is $5 per gallon?

I'm voting Democrat because I believe that the ideal family is two homosexual bonobos, a goat and a parrot raising a human baby. Love and compassion is all it takes to make a successful family!

I'm voting Democrat because I'm not an individual. I'm a race, a gender, a religion (or lack thereof), and a sexual orientation.

I'm voting Democrat because I'd rather have gas prices be easily influenced by world markets rather than drill in the Anwar preserve set aside for the purpose of drilling. I think terrorists know how to use our money best.

I'm voting Democrat because it's my body, and if I want to kill my baby, I'll do it, even if its head is in the birth canal. If I want to cut out my intestines and feed them to the crocodiles, I'll do that too.

I'm voting Democrat because our enemies on the battlefield deserve comfy hotel rooms, Pay-Per-View, prostitutes and all the benefits of American citizenship.

I'm voting Democrat because we need to make the illegal immigrants feel more at home by learning to speak Spanish. I think we should hand them welcome brochures that detail where to get government services and free Ipods at the border too.

  65. 965

I'm voting Democrat because having a picture of Jesus within 100 miles of me is offensive. Colored lights are offensive. Christmas trees are offensive. Hell, let's just ban the whole holiday! Let's put up lots of Ramadan decorations, more footbaths, more mosques and more Islam recruiting posters in our subways instead. Diversity is our strength.

I'm voting Democrat because I like the government making all of my decisions for me. I'm not smart enough to make them myself.

I'm voting Democrat because supporting a work-capable person on welfare for over 50 years is so noble. Anyone who doesn't take pity on these poor souls don't have a heart.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe we need other countries' permission for me to turn down my thermostat.

  66. 966

I'm voting Democrat because I like the words "hope" and "change." Also "kazoo." That's a funny word.

I'm voting Democrat because I like the ideas they have over in France, but I don't feel like moving there. I'll threaten to move, but I really won't. After all, I have a good job, healthcare, lower taxes, free speech and a social framework that promotes family structure. And all of it is defended by the most effective fighting force on the planet.

I'm voting Democrat because disagreeing with a black man is racism.

I'm voting Democrat because I hate Bush. He caused 9-11, Katrina, and the nail I broke this morning.

I'm voting Democrat because successful entrepreneurs either oppressed a minority or were lucky, and don't deserve their financial success.

  67. 967

I'm voting Democrat because I can't get the new Iphone 3G yet, my new Hummer needs new tires already, and McDonald's screwed up my lunch order. The economy is making life in the US a 3rd world country!

I'm voting Democrat because I want the world to know that I want a weak America just like Europe does.

I'm voting democrat so I can roll over and die the next time some emo ass-clown with more prescription drugs than teeth in his body shoots up a public place. Because I can't be trusted to personally own or carry a firearm. And I'm too unsafe to dare shooting back.

If only the institution of far-left values resulted in a great country. Oh, well. That won't stop me from voting Democrat, though. After all, I'm voting Democrat because thought isn't one of my strong suits.

Oh, GOP. The story gets sadder by the day. The thing is, I'm not even that opposed to John McCain. As in, great to go fishing with and then light up the hibachi and hear is POW stories. There could be far worse Republicans. Like Sarah Palin. They keep criticizing Obama for lack of experience, yet what he does seems ten times smarter than hiring Mayor McCheese of Make Believe, Alaska. I honestly don't see how a self-proclaimed hockey mom could bring to the table what McCain and America needs. I keep hearing "one heartbeat away from presidency", when we all know it will only take one coronary embolism. It's one thing to flirt with disgruntled Hillary voters, but this to me seems more like desperately trying to hump any leg you see. If I was a woman, I would be seriously offended by such a shameless ploy.

    Re: cyatic910 and pippin

I'm aware of false positives and covered that in an earlier post: "You order a second test and that came back positive too … your kid is sick" … or get a third or a fourth or a fifth … or get none.

This is about personal thresholds: I agree with the vast majority of parents who chose to abort their DS embryo; no one should be born with diseases like DS after being diagnosed and suffer only because their parents were hoping for that off-chance that everything will be alright. However, although most genetic counselors and doctors recommend abortion after diagnosis of DS, it's the parents decision.

Pippin, you are mentioning eugenics … indeed a widely debated topic. Where do I draw the line? I agree with the vast majority of parents and would abort after diagnosis of eg. DS, Tay-Sachs and other diseases far worse than those. I would NOT abort after diagnosis of eg. Klinefelters, crosseyed-ness or the mere fact that the embryo is female … others would and could. On the other hand, some parents still keep embryos after the diagnosis that their unborn carries a devastating genetic disorder which causes pain, agony and suffering much, much worse than DS …

  74. 974

Uh, sorry to disappoint some of you but the US hasn't received on drop of oil from Iraq! We get our oil either from Saudi Arabia or from Canada! Yes, Canada!! At least up here in the Midwest!! I laughed when the idiots were actually bashing Cindy McCain for not having more contact with her half sister AND YET Obama himself has a half brother living over in Africa. And he gets by on about a dollar a MONTH!! Can we say hypocrites?! Many people have different opinions about how we should live our lives, so I agree, the government shouldn't be forcing religion down every one's throats but by the same token those who choose a different lifestyle shouldn't be cramming their lifestyle down the throats of kids in the public schools. Which is why more and more parents want their kids to go to a private school. As for Obama, as another Chicago resident once said…"Obama has been a senator for 194 days and has done absolutely nothing for Illinois! I hear Obama is part of the south side group!! If you don't know what that means than you need to read more news!! Not interested in reading more news?! Then please stop trying to talk about politics! It may be your right but there's nothing more irritating than reading the opinions of uninformed individuals!!!

Re: Squirrel – I see you couldn't get the reply to Crice's Sis to work either. Good morning,I see why you picked Squirrel as a screen name, this is the best site to gather NUTS. Have a nice day, I have to go out now.

    [re=2815061]Re: Circe's sister
The funny thing is, you don't seem to realize how obvious it is that you're also "Squirrel" — and you talk to your self… desperate for attention (you as "Squirrel" commented on teh flag avi), you switch to something bound to be inflammatory. [/re]

You've also accused me of being both as well. And I assure you I am not. I'd put that tin foil hat back on.

    Re: seamus

    Oh no, not killing animals..

You better have a talk with mother nature. If homosexuality is natural because it happens in nature, so is killing animals? I don't know. Making a stab in the dark here. I don't hunt, and could never kill an animal. But they sure are tasty. And I'd never be part of PETA, that wack-job Organization..

  78. 978

This is pretty good. And coming from Camile Paglia.
    -
“We may be seeing the first woman president. As a Democrat, I am reeling,” said Camille Paglia, the cultural critic. “That was the best political speech I have ever seen delivered by an American woman politician. Palin is as tough as nails.”
    -
Ouch! - Dems are on the defensive. Amazing how fast things can change.

  79. 979

Re: Minx Like I said, people who have nothing of intelligence to say in response have no choice but to stoop to namecalling. I used to comment to others that you were a very level headed Republican on this forum…. until couple days ago when you posted that chain of internet email lies on Obama.

When did I do this? For one, I get no emails on Obama. For two, I don't remember making any accusations about him. Other than him not really being a Christian. But I said that about Bill, and Bush too.
    [re=2815293]Re: Minx
You just revealed the hypocrit you are, preaching respect and decorum when the forum is going your way and then lash out using the same tactics you accuse Dems of when it does not…[/re]

    LOL!

    Lets break this down.

    1. By your first sentence it's obvious your biased beyond help.
    2. Palin has more experience than Obama. Obama was the one that ATTACKED her when the decision was made, that realized what a jackass he sounded like a retracted it. I expect the PRESIDENT to have more experience than the VICE president.
    3. I am sure all the people in Alaska appreciate you belittling them.
    4. It was no ploy. If you had been paying attention to the political spectrum during times other than election years you'd know the GOP has had their eyes on her for years as a potential hope for the future. This is just the left now getting pissy cause their claims of sexism can't stick now, and they just might, might get the first women in office before they do. That would really upset them. They are already calling her a "Good ole boy" like they called Rice racist names cause she wasn't a Democrat.

    PATHETIC

  82. 982

    Another Paglia comment -
    -
“Good Lord, we had barely 12 hours of Democrat optimism,” said Paglia. “It was a stunningly timed piece of PR by the Republicans.”

  83. 983

BTW this site needs better quoting abilities … or any at all. I've seen better forums made 10 years ago..

Perez.. .it's the 2ks… lets move to some real forum software.

Re: Darrynito – What kind of cold blooded monsters is this nation becoming?!! Abort a child because "THEY" will be in pain or because the parents are too selfish and immature to deal with the reality of having a child with down syndrome. I know several couples with a child with DOWN SYNDROME and the children don't appear to "be in pain" as so many of you lying scum bags claim. In fact the children AND parents are happy and the parents have said repeatedly that they wouldn't trade their child for one that is healthy for all the money in the world!!! DON'T try and justify your prejudice with a bunch of garbage about the child's quality of life and other BS like that!!! IN FACT, anyone who is under the delusion that aborting babies with special needs will somehow eliminate them….THINK AGAIN!!!! One of my good friends (JEAN) was born what some pukes would call "NORMAL" BUT at age nine she had a drowning accident and now is mentally handicapped and YET she still managed to graduate from high school at age 21 and she has been able to hold down several jobs. I challenage everyone of you PUKES wto watch the MS telethon tonight and then you come back here and you tell us which one of those kids should have been aborted.

  85. 985

Ooops! My bad! I meant the MD telethon but I think those of you with actual working brains knew what I meant!!! It starts tonight!! Go ahead!! Watch those brave souls and come back and tell me which one of those kids or adults shouldn't be have been allowed to live. Of course if any of you cold blooded monsters have any trouble choosing just ask yourself what your mentor Hitler would have done!!! And NO that isn't an outrageous comparison!! Is a well known fact that Hitler not only wanted to eliminate the Jews and homosexuals and gypsies but the physically and mentally challenged as well.

Trixie just won the Perez Hilton smack-down of the day award. Congrats Trix.

I just found out that when Sarah played basketball in school,
her nickname was "' sarah baracuda”. I want that bitch on my side.
McCain, when you picked that song”Right Now” /Eddie Van Halen
to play after Sarah spoke…you grabbed me right in..
    So unbelievably smart.

  89. 989

    Re: Trixie25

Dear Trixie, please reread my posts … you are under the impression that I regard DS patients less valuable. That is not the case. I don't think they're a burden and I sure don't have any prejudice. Do not distort, please. I'm talking about preventing disease and suffering; I'm not judging. I'm concerned with well-being of the child born with DS because their parents decided it's OK to have one. And, Trixie, you just haven't seen the other, ugly side of DS … the deaths, the abandoned, the suffering - it's not on TV, it's in homes and hospitals and if it's in your neighborhood it's usually locked away. Tragic!

Assume DS was viral … we'd all be getting shots, wearing masks and washing our hands to prevent spreading and to not get infected … what would you say to people disregarding these measures? Why would someone willingly distribute disease?

  90. 990

Obama, sorry..u just lost. All woman except obamaianz will vote
for Sarah baracuda….I like that name.

  91. 991

CIRCE’S SISTER, You can accuse me of being whom ever you like. The fact is I am very capable of handling myself. I don’t not need 2 screen names. This is your pathetic attempt to discredit my posts. If you don’t like what I have to say simply ignore it as I will do you until you have legitimate statement or question. "I did no such thing. *rolleyes* "

Ummm yes you have, you have done this w/ Hotki on a host of gay issues and LettyB on a host of other issues. I do not state something just to state it. When you called for decorum that was when you gained my respect. Now I have none for you and the above point is precisely why. Skittles and Squirrel have the decency to not pretend to be something they are not. I cannot say the same of you.

  93. 993

    Re: Minx – Post 997
"I do not state something just to state it."
    -
Please, give me a break. We all know the only reason you are voting for Obama is because he's NOT Bush. You won't vote for McCain because you can somehow in your mind tie him to Bush. I would have more respect for you if you would simply admit you are voting on emotion. Principle over policy. Your arguments on policy are weak at best and when challenged they become even more lame. I don't have a problem with your support of Obama for the reasons I stated above. Heaven knows, the only reason I supported Bush and not Gore in 2000 was because I could tie Gore to Clinton and I wanted that garbage removed. So I find it amusing when you say "I do not state something just to state it". That is precisely what you do when you pretend to talk about policy.

If people are gonna vote for McCain because his VP (Vice Prostitute) is a woman…then you people are seriously stupid!! When McCain dies in 6 months, she won't be able to be the next president, because she has no experience!! Heck Obama's got more experience then her!! Oh yeah, and when polar bears become extinct, you can thank the baracuda for that!!

  98. 998

    Re: xXTOMXx
    #1002
You are very misinformed. Governor Palin has way more experience than Senator Obama. She actually has executive experience, running a state, being a mayor, being on a city council. She is also the Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard. She also took on her own corrupt party in the state and beat them. Obama has shown up to work in the Senate 143 days. The only committee he heads has never met. And if by your prediction "McCain dies in 6 months," She'll have 6 months of experience, vice no experience on day one with Obama.

  99. 999

Re: xXTOMXx – What experience does Obama have? I have this question repeatedly and have still yet to get an answer. Palin’s has a lot of experience more so then Obama. I really would be more concern with “baby humans” then “baby polar bears”. You need to look at views on BAIPA.

  100. 1000

Re: SKITTLES – They don't know or care about BAIPA. But the truth is, Obama opposed this legislation when he was a State Senator three times. His supporters don't like to equate his stance to infanticide but unfortunately for Obama, that's what it is. Those of you that are wondering about BAIPA, it's the Born Alive Infants Protection Act which provides constitutional rights to infants that survive an unsuccessful abortion. Obama's position was to let them die, outside the womb. Disgusting.
