There are Native Alaskan tribes and clans who are STILL struggling for there rights to live as their ancestors did. I am from Alaska and have attended speeches given by Governor Palin, and while I strongly disagree with her stances on many issues, and will be voting for Obama this November, Diddy's comments are unsubstantiated, uninformed, and ignorant. Trust me, there are black people in Alaska. And there are crackheads as well, however I don't see how not having crackheads in Alaska would be a negative aspect of her term as Governor.

I understand Diddy certainly takes pride in being a black man, but there are other minorities especially within Alaska that pose their own problems as a race. I am Alaska native, and there is huge problem with alcoholism, homelessness, and drug use, among other things. These are very severe and important problems that Alaskans deal with, and, being a near-lifetime Alaskan, Sarah Palin must be aware of these issues. I have not seen the fruits of the labor she's put in to improve these problems, however they are there so she does have some sort of sense of it.
Right now, I'm not defending Sarah Palin, only Alaska. We may have a low population, but we deal with many of the problems that more populated states do.
