Diddy did make me laugh, but he is not that versed in the issues. That doesn't mean that he doesn't have a point however.
The Dems aren't saints by any stretch of the imagination, but it is the conservatives, who tend to be Republicans, that have pushed the defense of marriage act, been against affirmative action programs from the start and have appointed justices that have done less to protect our civil liberties than the democratic appointees. To some, the choice of Sarah Palin signals a continuation of the same. She is a member of the NRA, staunchly pro-life, opposes gay marriage and wants to drill in her own state. That is what Diddy should have been saying.
McCain appointed Palin solely for strategic reasons. Not because he thinks that she would be a capable of running this country in the event that something happens to him, but because he thinks that he may be able to draw votes from dissatisfied Hillary supporters. In reality, it's a slap in the face to her supporters.
And as far as all of this nonsense about inexperience and being "ready" to be president, I hate to break it to you but none of them are ready. As Bill said last week, I doubt anyone is ever ready to be president. You elect someone who you think will represent your vision of what the country should be, and that is reflected in part on their judgment and how they feel about specific issues. You want someone who is intelligent, will assemble a good team and will make good decisions. McCain is no more ready to be president than Obama. And Palin's "administrative" experience means bollocks. For some reason people feel a sense of comfort when governors run as opposed to senators. Bush was governor of Texas and how did that work out for us?
As rabidly as these unschooled "personalities" back HObama, they also attack McCaine. they are all a bunch of sheep…BaaaBaaa black sheep.

To be so critizing towards Alaska, you sure do have it wrong. My father was in the military and Ive been to/lived in more places in the USA ALONE than you could count in your little brain. Out of every single place, Alaska was my favorite. There is no other state as beautiful and breathtaking as the nature and wildlife in Alaska. Thats exactly why I dislike Sarah Palin… she wants to pump all the nutrients out of AK, which would make in look like Oklahoma & Texas (w/o nutrients it was intended to have…).
You cant judge AK as not having smart people… a lot of people there graduate high school and choose to attend one of the many colleges in Alaska.
As for black people, yes.. there are black people in Alaska. Sure, they arent the majority…and neither are asians or latinos. But other states dont have a perfect 25%white, 25%black, 25%….etc….. In Georgia, whites were always the minority. In Texas, latinos reigned in population. Who cares about race?
Shouldnt you vote for who you think would be the most intelligent and someone who would better this country in a knowledable sense? Not by race or sex?

Isn’t it interesting that McCain’s main campaign theme has been foreign policy rules yet he picks a VP who is unqualified to take his place.
1) She’s on video stating that she hasn’t followed the Iraq war *much* because she’s been too busy with her part-time governor’s position in Alaska.
