Lindsay 'Skips' Grandpa's Wake

We're waiting for Michael Lohan's next pop at his daughter Lindsay and her g.f. saMAN Ronson.
According to reports, LezLo skipped her grandfather's wake in Long Island this weekend to shop and hang out in Manhattan with saMAN.
We assume Daddy Lohan had his paparazzi partners in the bushes at the wake waiting for LezLo so they could capture some bankable shots.
Do you think Lindz should've showed up to pay respects, even if her fame-whore dad probably would've made it a spectacle?

I think she should have paid respects, family is family. Not only that, but if she chose to skip it, that's one thing..but skipping it to go shopping and have a fun filled day with your girlfriend? Not cool.
I think the real concern here is what she has deemed as clothing. Atrocious!
it's like this:
a) she didn't go because she wanted to make even more headlines by not going. ie: what we have now.
b) she would go and seem like a decent person. that would totally throw her off balance.
but she chose c) not going and being with that plague she's with everyday. ie: what we have now. just a little more gag involved.
she should've gone to her grandfather's wake! that was terrible…. i recently lost my grandfather and i couldn't be in his wake because i couldn't get an airplane ticket but wat she did was so mean! too bad!

No I dont think its completly necessary to go to the wake, as long as she pays her respects in her heart. Her dad would have made such a spectacle, and she doesnt need that.
I think Lindsay did the most respectful thing by not going to the funeral. It sounds like she is trying to do the right thing and I give her props for taking control of her life.

I don't blame her at all for staying away! I'm sure that her father had not only the paps there, but also his friends at E! I wouldn't put it past him to use his own fathers wake for a 3 ring media circus and make a profit from the results. Why would she expose herself to such a toxic person and enter into such a hostile environment ? Her grandfather is gone, he's beyong caring if she was there or not, funerals and wakes are for the living and not the dead. There are other ways to grieve and I'm sure that if she was close to her grandfather, she's grieving in her own way, she needn't do it publicly. Maybe she doesn't consider it a photo-op like her father does. There's no reason for her to make a public spectacle of it like her father is doing and her presence would have been a distraction. Most celebrity families ask for privacy and respect at times like these, yet Mr. Lohan appears to see it as just one more way to garner publicity. That's cold.
no let people grieve their own way, her father has show more than once that he hasn't got a clue what good manners are… theres a family feud going on and I fully understand why she didn't want to go. she can show her respect another time when the cameras are off and she can get the privacy to grieve the normal way without the spotlight…. give the girl a break
Yeah she should of gone regardless of her dad. what does her grandpa have to do with this messed up ways ? yeah he might of been the sperm donor of creating him but that has nothing to do with her grandpa.

it's really no one's business whether or not she goes to the wake. it is her decision and no one knows what her relationship was with her grandfather. Leave the girl alone already! she's happy…. leave it at that!
