Sarah Palin's Teenaged Daughter Pregnant!!!

Everybody's got their skeletons, but not every gun-toting, pro-life, anti-gay rights mother of 5 is running for Vice President!
The good news: It seems like Sarah Spears Palin did give birth to her son earlier this year - the one that was born with Down Syndrome.
The bad news: As has been reported, Sarah's daughter has been pulled out of school for months now, citing a severe case of "mono."
Uh huh!
Well, now the truth has come out.
Palin's daughter, Bristol Palin (above), 17 years old, is pregnant.
The slutty teen is keeping the baby and plans to marry its father.
Bristol, a senior in high school, is about five months along, in her second trimester.
Republican presidential nominee John McCain was aware of Bristol Palin's teenaged pregnancy before he chose her mommy.
McCain advisers said Palin told Johnny boy about her daughter's pregnancy in one of their "private conversations" last week, before he officially asked her to run with her. However, McCain aides said he already knew, having found out about it earlier in the vetting process. "She was very upfront about it," one aide insisted.
The Palins and the McCain campaign decided to reveal this information now because of Internet rumors that Sarah Palin's 4-month-old baby, who has Down syndrome, was actually Bristol's.
The Palins issued a statement Monday about their whore daughter.
Sarah and her husband, Todd Palin, say they are "proud of Bristol's decision to have her baby and even prouder to become grandparents. Bristol and the young man she will marry are going to realize very quickly the difficulties of raising a child, which is why they will have the love and support of our entire family."
They also asked the media to respect their daughter's privacy.

There is a lesson to be learned from all of this!
It's very important to talk to your kids about sex and - whether you like it or not - provide them with education and alternatives (the pills, condoms, etc).
Sarah Palin probably didn't talk to her daughter openly about sex, and she probably sure as hell didn't encourage her to use condoms!

The POSITIVE end of this, her daughter didn't murder the baby. That would surely would have been better fore Palin's career had her daughter had an abortion. Had the girl been 13-14 then I might agree. 17/18? No. By then you make your own choices regardless of what your parents do or don't do. You should know that as well. Upon hearing the news I immediately called some Republican supporters telling them I was now voting Republican becuase of the “family values” issue. They had not heard the news and I told them that the vice presidential candidates 17 year old daughter was 5 months pregnant. They were gleeful as they assumed I meant Joe Biden (depsite his not having a 17 year old daughter.)
Once they went on a bit about Democratic family values, I told them I had been confused and that is was actually Gov Palin’s daughter who was pregnant.

Growing up my parents and my school spoke to me about safe sex and the importance of it, and irregardless I have made some not so safe decisions in the past. This girl is her own person and made her own decisions and now she is taking responsibility for her actions.

I have four children…three of the adults. Two never got into any trouble, always lived their lives according to the lessons we taught them and one who has been making choices contrary to our own family values (he abuses drugs and alcohol if you must know) but does that make me a bad parent? I am a conservative parent with three children. I believe it is up to *me* and not to public schools to teach my children about sex education. Therefore my children probably knew more, earlier, about sex and reproduction than their average peers at school. Do I hope they abstain from sex until they are emotional adults (there is no magic age at which this happens, btw. Earlier for some and later for others.) and capable of dealing with the emotions and possible consequences that having sex brings? Yes. Have I provided them with access to birth control? Yes. (All three are teenagers and I am realistic.) Teenagers are teenagers and they are going to do what they will do. If one of Obama's daughters were in the same position and were going to keep the baby, I would commend her as well.
Too bad "family values" isn't even a cornerstone of the Republican platform this election cycle. In fact I'm not sure I've ever even heard McCain nor Palin tout them. It is a relic of presidential elections past. Let it go.
What *is* a signicant part of the Republican platform this year is reducing domestic dependence on foreign oil… and in that, Ms. Sarah Palin is practically an expert.

As an Indep. I have noticed that the Republican party does pawn themselves off as the defenders of country and morals. That is why there are so many "Christians" and "radical Christians" in that party. With that said.
SEX EDUCATION SHOULD BE TAUGHT IN SCHOOLS. You don't want your child in that program at school guess what you can OPT OUT! Aside from an unwanted pregnancy as a result, there's these things out there called DISEASES that KILL. It's not enough to say keep your legs closed and YOUR PANTS ZIPPED. Even if teens dodge the Bullet of Pregnancy, w/o knowing the sign of DISEASES they run the risk of being a carrier of a disease and wouldn't recognize the signs until its advanced.
