Sarah Palin's Teenaged Daughter Pregnant!!!

Everybody's got their skeletons, but not every gun-toting, pro-life, anti-gay rights mother of 5 is running for Vice President!
The good news: It seems like Sarah Spears Palin did give birth to her son earlier this year - the one that was born with Down Syndrome.
The bad news: As has been reported, Sarah's daughter has been pulled out of school for months now, citing a severe case of "mono."
Uh huh!
Well, now the truth has come out.
Palin's daughter, Bristol Palin (above), 17 years old, is pregnant.
The slutty teen is keeping the baby and plans to marry its father.
Bristol, a senior in high school, is about five months along, in her second trimester.
Republican presidential nominee John McCain was aware of Bristol Palin's teenaged pregnancy before he chose her mommy.
McCain advisers said Palin told Johnny boy about her daughter's pregnancy in one of their "private conversations" last week, before he officially asked her to run with her. However, McCain aides said he already knew, having found out about it earlier in the vetting process. "She was very upfront about it," one aide insisted.
The Palins and the McCain campaign decided to reveal this information now because of Internet rumors that Sarah Palin's 4-month-old baby, who has Down syndrome, was actually Bristol's.
The Palins issued a statement Monday about their whore daughter.
Sarah and her husband, Todd Palin, say they are "proud of Bristol's decision to have her baby and even prouder to become grandparents. Bristol and the young man she will marry are going to realize very quickly the difficulties of raising a child, which is why they will have the love and support of our entire family."
They also asked the media to respect their daughter's privacy.

There is a lesson to be learned from all of this!
It's very important to talk to your kids about sex and - whether you like it or not - provide them with education and alternatives (the pills, condoms, etc).
Sarah Palin probably didn't talk to her daughter openly about sex, and she probably sure as hell didn't encourage her to use condoms!

It is not Sarah Palin's fault that her daughter is pregnant. Bristol is just a naive girl who probably thinks that she's gonna live Happily ever after with her baby-daddy. We are not living in the 1950's, Schools teach about the "birds and the bees"…birth control pills and condoms are available everywhere in the country and free of cost at clinics. So don't blame the parents when teenage girls get pregnant. What do you expect parents to do, follow their kids around to make sure they are using protection? You're an idiot.
She is not the first teenage girl to get pregnant and I'm sure she won't be the last. BTW, your girl Solange got pregnant at 17 years old…Beyonce didn't…I'm sure they both got the talk from their parents.
I really, really, REALLY hope she's not being forced into marriage because it'll make this whole situation a lot more "acceptable".
I am a teen mother. I had my daughter when I was 16. So I know the pressure that's put on you as a teen to "make it better" and get married… and I also know what a bad idea it is to force the stress of a marriage on top of the stress of having a new baby as a young mother.
I also agree that, because her mother is abstinence-only, this probably could have been prevented. However, my parents were also abstinence-only, and I educated MYSELF about birth control, and got myself on the pill. The fact that it didn't work is irrelevant… I still USED it despite the lack of information my school and parents provided.
I wish her the best if luck… she doesn't look very happy in any picture of her I've seen, poor girl
Also, to the person above my first post, I don't know what kind of school you went to, but America is abstinence-only teachings. It is ILLEGAL to teach children about safe sex in the classroom.

I know plenty of sex educated people that got pregnant before they were 18. I'm also for no sex education in school, it's not the governments responsibility to teach my kids about sex. Both my wife and myself can that. What I can't understand is that I keep reading all these comments from Obama supporters, which are supposed to be for change and compassion, freedom, the party of tolerance. What i can't understand is why a war hero that happens to be older is being torn down because of his age? What if he dies?! A successful mother with several kids and a pregnant teenager, being disqualified because of it? It seems to me that the tolerant people here are only tolerant and forgiving if it's their candidate. I don't here anyone questioning Senator Obama's judgement skills (Rev. Wright, William Ayers, Antoin "Tony” Rezko). Where is all the criticism about his bad choice of friends? I don't see how Gov. Palin's daughter being pregnant has anything to do with her ability to lead. Also, where are all the femenists standing up for Gov. Palin? I thought femenists were for all women succeeding and being equal in a mans world? Come on people, lets talk about real issues.

I agree with you that sex ed should be taught in schools. Unfortunately there are too many parents who won't accept the responsibility of teaching their children about it themselves. As a conservative, I just happen to believe that the responsiblity is mine, not the public school's, and I act accordingly.
Also, I think we can all agree no matter which side of the fence we're on, that morals are good. Conservatives should not set themselves up as moral authorities - when we do that we fail because we are all human and all fallible. But there are basic morals on which we do all agree, e.g., murder is wrong, theft is wrong, etc. Otherwise, we'd have an anarchistic society that would cease to function. When people sneer at "morals" it just makes me laugh. We all have them… whether Republican or Democrat.

actually she is against teaching kids in school about sex education in schools and obviously did not talk to her own child about it, leaving her uneducated resulting in her getting pregnant. So technically, yes, it is sarah palins fault her daughter is pregnant because she didnt teach her the important lessons of having sex at a young age (condoms, the pill, etc.) You cant just put all the blame on the daughter.

yeah, seriously Perez, there is nothing wrong with teenage pregnancy. I got pregnant at 16 and had my son when I was 17. I'm not a bad mother just because I'm young. What the truck? I waited til 19 to have sex, but, got pregnant shortly after. Shit happens. The message is when you first drive a car you have acidents and high-ass insurance, when you first have relationships and sex, you are just starting out and don't know shit about shit yet. I wish that these high school students would wait until at least they get in college to have sex. It's too soon and all of the emotional insecurities that come with it are going to be that much harder. Hopefully we can learn from her mistake, get closer to our teens and get more involved in their lives bc they really can't do everything on their own.

I'm 18 and pregnant, but that does not make me a slut. Sure, I'm not married, but I have been with the father for 3 years. Just because a teen is pregnant does not make them a slut….especially if they are doing the RIGHT thing and taking responsibility for their actions.
