Everybody's got their skeletons, but not every gun-toting, pro-life, anti-gay rights mother of 5 is running for Vice President!
The good news: It seems like Sarah Spears Palin did give birth to her son earlier this year - the one that was born with Down Syndrome.
The bad news: As has been reported, Sarah's daughter has been pulled out of school for months now, citing a severe case of "mono."
Uh huh!
Well, now the truth has come out.
Palin's daughter, Bristol Palin (above), 17 years old, is pregnant.
The slutty teen is keeping the baby and plans to marry its father.
Bristol, a senior in high school, is about five months along, in her second trimester.
Republican presidential nominee John McCain was aware of Bristol Palin's teenaged pregnancy before he chose her mommy.
McCain advisers said Palin told Johnny boy about her daughter's pregnancy in one of their "private conversations" last week, before he officially asked her to run with her. However, McCain aides said he already knew, having found out about it earlier in the vetting process. "She was very upfront about it," one aide insisted.
The Palins and the McCain campaign decided to reveal this information now because of Internet rumors that Sarah Palin's 4-month-old baby, who has Down syndrome, was actually Bristol's.
The Palins issued a statement Monday about their whore daughter.
Sarah and her husband, Todd Palin, say they are "proud of Bristol's decision to have her baby and even prouder to become grandparents. Bristol and the young man she will marry are going to realize very quickly the difficulties of raising a child, which is why they will have the love and support of our entire family."
They also asked the media to respect their daughter's privacy.

It's very important to talk to your kids about sex and - whether you like it or not - provide them with education and alternatives (the pills, condoms, etc).
Sarah Palin probably didn't talk to her daughter openly about sex, and she probably sure as hell didn't encourage her to use condoms!

I agree that this poor girl's personal life shouldn't be aired like this, and it's not really her fault that her mother is so high-profile. The reason that it's interesting, and WORTH TALKING ABOUT is because Sarah Palin is for abstinence education ONLY. This means she does NOT want sexual education for teenagers, and here her teenage child is, not only pregnant and now planning to marry very young, but was taken out of school for "infectious mononucleosis" instead of the truth. Palin doesn't want kids to know about the risks of sex, and she now knows very personally what can happen when they learn elsewhere. She tried to cover it up until people were saying her son was her grandkid. She's anti-choice, so of course she wants Bristol to have the baby, that's fine. She's all about "family values" so of course they'll help her with it. As bad as I feel for Bristol, I don't feel bad for Sarah. It's our business, the woman is a gunshot or heart attack away from the presidency if they win. She knew her kid was pregnant and accepted the candidacy, she knew it was going to come out.

I do agree with the posters that said Perez took it too far calling Bristol a whore because she's having sex at the age of 17 and is now pregnant. Really Perez, it could very well be Bristol was a virgin when she started having sex with the guy, however I seriously doubt she was smart enough about using birth control and double-dipping (using a condom, spermicide, and the pill). Many teenage girls do not follow bcp directions to the spot, especially those low-hormone, three-periods a year pills that need to be taken every day at the same time. Also many teenagers do not use condoms, thinking because they're each other's first sexual intercourse they don't have to worry about STDs, but forget condoms are also pretty effective against pregnancy when used in conjunction with bcp and spermicide. So yeah Perez, don't presume all teenage girls are whores, they're just missing something in their lives they feel the need to have sex at such a young age.
Anyone else think it is SCARY how normal teenage pregnancy is becoming? We should be educating our young ladies on preventative methods…not coddling them after the fact. It's really not hard to be active and to not get pregnant. She isn't a whore. Immature, Yes.

Oh, and I didn't have to pay one cent for the surgery or my hospital stay, plus my prescription plan paid for 50% of the drug cost. Too bad Americans can't say the same for those 40 million people without health insurance in the USA.

I am married and have two kids. I have no idea how single parents deal with the work load of raising a family. No idea! They must work around the clock without knowing when their next break from the kids is coming! Single parents deserve a lot of respect for the monster job that they do. It makes me really angry that people are bashing Sarah Palin because her 17 year old daughter is pregnant. I'm currently not sure which candidate I am going to support, but, this would have absolutely no impact on my decision, because I have been faced with the same problem. I found out almost three years ago that my brother got his then 18 year old girl friend pregnant. This was a complete shock to me because my parents did teach us about safe sex, and offered me and my sister birth control if we became sexually active, along with condoms, and the same for my brother. But, some how this happened. My brother and his girlfriend decided to have the baby, although we, a pro-life family, suggested adoption, and eventually got to the point of fully supporting him. My niece is almost two years old now, and my brother is still living with his girlfriend, waiting until she finishes college courses to marry. I used to be one of those people who blamed the parents if a child did something wrong, but, after my own experience I realize that child are capable of their own decisions, and even if they're not the best, it's the parents who stand by them, and support their decisions that are truly amazing. I can't begin to tell you about the nights my Mom stayed up crying because she thought that she had failed as a parent to my brother, and, I'm sure Palin has had her moments, too. But, she's supporting her daughter, and loves her. What more can you ask?

What mother experiencing all these kind of personal calamities would not take a step back and re evaluate her mothering abilities, but no, for power and money, she will do anything even if her sick child and unwed pregnant teen suffers.

If she wants to disregard the laws of nature and not use b.c. and get knocked up, if she wants to feel forced by religion and politics into a loveless marriage for the sake of misguided moral obligation or keeping up appearances, if she wants to make her life really difficult and diminish her potential for education, travel, career, etc., — that's her business. It's her life and she is free to live it how she chooses, and believe what she believes. What I have a problem with is that, if Palin is elected, she'll work to make sure all women have to face these same depressing circumstances if they find themselves accidentally pregnant, regardless of the circumstance. When are you going to update this and say that the downs baby really IS Sarah's!?! The only "proof" these people have is that she looks a little thin in some photos!
