It is obvious that many Americans behave irationally when it comes to elections. They vote for a party,
namely the Republicans, even though this party does not fit their most important interest, which is
their economic interest. The politics made by the Republican party is a clear straight client's policy, i.e.
politics for the rich and wealthy. In Europe, the richest pay the highest taxes, e.g. in Germany, 40 % of their income.
Bush showed over the last eight years that it was the Republicans' style of politics to cut taxes for the rich and
raise those of the poor, and McCain is going to stick to that.
So why would you Americans vote for them?
Because for you, or so at least the Republicans insist, things like carrying guns, the sound of a name
(John is better than Barack), national pride, skin color or gay people and so on are more important than economic and social
politics.
Many Americans from the lower or middle class ignore, that by electing
a Republican, you very probably severe your own economic future. In short: you ignore that health insurance, social security
or high-standard education (no barbaric creationism e.g.) MIGHT be more important for you than being allowed to carry around weapons
(which is considered just ridiculous in the rest of the civilised world) or prohibiting your women abortions (which is also just ridiculous).
That you even CONSIDER voting someone like John mcCain when a person like Barack Obama is electible is just… I do not have words.
Excellent comparison Perez - both of them use their kids for gain…and neither one taught their TEEN daughters to keep their legs closed!
Lastly, both are examples of BAD PARENTING.

At least her daughter is taking responsibility for her actions and keeping the child instead of aborting it like you liberals seem to think is the right course of action. She is not the one to blame for her daughter's pregnancy. I highly doubt she told her daughter, "Hey go get knocked up!" A 17 year old used to be considered old enough to get married and have a full time job as a stay at home mom, so maybe we should consider bringing back some of that personal responsibility and stop blaming others for mistakes.
