The newest thing puts Palin at complete odds with McCain's ideology of 'country first'.
According to a new report, Palin has supported the Alaska Independence Party AND experts say that might be the most politically detrimental of anything that's been unearthed.
The Alaska Independence Party has called for Alaska's secession from the union!! They no longer want to be part of the United States.
It's been pointed out that it is practically impossible for McCain to make a "country first" argument when his running mate is affiliated with a political party that puts country second.

I just heard on MSNBC that the Palin kids had no idea that she had accepted the VP slot until the morning of and that the kids all thought that they were being flown somewhere to celebrate their parent's 20th anniversary. I don't think she is qualified to be the president of the US. I need that in a VP for me to vote for a ticket. McCain's old and likely to die soon, so this is a concern. Biden could be president and Obama is quite young and likely to stick around. It's a better ticket. I like Biden because on of my concerns about Obama was foreign policy. I was a Clinton supporter. Now i am voting Obama.

Also, who looks after Palin's children when she's working on government business or on the campaign trail? Since I read she fired the governor's cook, who cooks dinner?
