This had been bugging me for days, all these people that think they have a right to tell YOU what to post on YOUR site.

It's Quite simple!
1. i think your coverage of politics and the candidates is great
2. i was totally a hillary supporter too
3. mccain's choice of sarah palin is irresponsible and insulting.
I agree with you Perez, but please give us info on all candidates, good and bad. Maybe people will stop comlaining and learn something new or from a different perspective. However, lets leave their children out of it, they can't help that one of their parent's decided to run for public office. as a parent I know that you cannot control every aspect of a teenagers life, my parent's couldn't either. We can learn from others mistakes as well as our own though. So keep posting what you learn, but lets understand that it is alright to agree to disagree. Everyone go out and vote how you chose, but be educated in your choice. My biggest concern with Obama though is universal health care. I am a physician in a rural area and we are already understaffed to treat all of our patients and if the government controls health care some people will fall to the way side waiting on treatment. Also, less will probably chose any career in medicine (nursing, x-ray techs, lab techs, etc.) due to government control and we are already experiencing a shortage all over this country. There also will be a long wait for some services. I don't know what the answer is and I admit that. Just worried about my patients. Thanks Perez! But if you learn anything about universal health care please post it!
Re: sef727 – Asa physician I will tell you that the older a mother is when she becomes pregant the more likely the child will be born with certain abnormalities or defects. I don't have a clue and will not imply who the baby's true mother is. This comment is only from a medical point of view. It is obviously possible for any mother to give birth to a special needs child. The only people who probably know the truth are the Palin's and both Sarah and Bristol's OB/GYN. Good question though, anything you learn about it please post.

Good for you Perez! I think it is pretty great that you are bringing political discussion into arenas that otherwise would pay no attention. No matter how you do it or whether or not people agree with you is NOT the issue, you are definately getting people talking and that is a great thing. Young Americans and people as a whole need more exposure and education about the political system. You are helping with that in your own way!
I am not only a Obama supporter but also a Canadian…even though I am not an American, I have never been so interested in politics in my life…honestly I think a little scandal could do our Canadian politics some good. What happens in the U.S. election effects us all…if you want a say… Vote! period! make change!

I had to come back just to watch your video…..It's not that you talk about politics, it's the hateful, childish way you do it. There's a way to say something and be taken seriously and there's a way to say something that sounds like a 2 yr old who wants his own way and the latter is how you're coming off…..Take Palin for example. You don't know the woman, yet you continue to slam her. For all you know, you and her might get along if you ever met. If you want to slam her politics, that's fine but the personal insults are just out of line, such as with her daughter being pregnant. I know for a fact she's not the first unmarried girl pregnant and won't be the last, shit happens no matter how much you prepare a child for sex. You just have to talk and talk and teach and teach and pray they listen…….Anyhoos just my two cents on your video………………long enuff.

Dude, I disagree with you on many, many things, but your video reminded me of why I was attracted to your site in the first place. I've long since thought that the one universal trait we humans share is hypocrisy…none of us are exempt. I've held you to a higher standard because of your high profile and the effect I thought it was having on your very many ignorant (that's a nice word) readers. But you're right. You're very rarely going to change the opinions of someone elsb. You whip up a post and move on and it's the readers duty to take it for what it is, whatever it is. You don't engage in dialog with the readers, or rarely do, so I suppose it's hard to tell whats a true opinion or a bid to increase hits.
