This is an older song of hers, not new…however I haven't heard this remix of it before. Saw her live at Bluesfest, she opened for Fergie….(Fergie at the end said "and thanks to JUDY BLACK" rather than Jully! LOL)

Jully Black has, and always will be, a very unique songstress! I knew her back in the days when she was teaching us daycamp kids how to sing Whitney Houstan songs! No matter what anyone says, Jully has CrAzY talent. and no she does not sound like Christina ….although she DOES have a bit of India Arie, I do agree on that one. She is one of the nicest, most down to earth individuals…(as most Canadians are, thank you) but she is no pushover! Unlike some of our talentless, one hit wonder American neighbors that come out with songs after they bomb on reality shows. (*cough, Speidi!)

She's just another neo-soul artist, ever since amy winehouse came out and became commercially successful, there's been numerous neo-soul artist's ie duffy. I hate how fuckin trendy the music industry is, they love you one moment then dump you the next, and you wonder why the music industry is in the state it is.
