Wow, she is really creepy. I didn't like how in the beginning she kept saying "we," as if the job of president is a partnership. I get that you talk about things with your wife, but the way she talked about it was freaky.

The Army says this year's suicide total among soldiers could reach 130, out of a force of about a million and a half. That would be an increase of more than 10 percent over last year and it would bring the Army above the overall suicide rate for the United States, as adjusted to reflect the Army's demographics.

Re: bogarde – Creationism isn't a subject, it's a belief. If you want your beliefs taught, go to belief school, as in religious school. Or you could move to a society where only beliefs are taught, like in Saudi Arabia for example. Perhaps it's b/c they're your beliefs that you believe it's okay? Well the framers of the AMERICAN constitution thought keeping ALL beliefs out of the public sector would create a free society. But maybe you are too stupid to deserve or appreciate these FACTS.
Does anyone even care at all that she had a stroke? I personally think she looks considering she nearly died and has recovered so well.

As a libertarian who leans socially liberal, and fiscally conservative I must say I smiled at Cindy's political correctness! Usually, not always, conservatives don't lean toward being PC. Personally, I hate being PC. But then again, she's playing her smart cards… her husband is running for president after all. Creationism taught in school? Nah… what should be taught, and often is, is the history and culture of all worldwide religions (middle school and high school social studies classes). Basically, a comparative if you will. No teacher in their right mind should get up in front of a class and say "man was created by god and there is no such thing as macro evolution." Just as no teacher in his/her right mind would say "macro evolution is fact". A correct teaching method on this very controversial issue would be to inform students that there are various beliefs out and about in the world… here they are, x, y, z. However, we all know that micro evolution pretty much can't be denied! But that's neither here nor there.
Love Cindy! She talks straight and doesn't dish shitty banter. She told Couric she disagrees with Palin and disagreements as such are O.K. Fo sho. No 1st (potential) has ever done that; that I can recall at least. Some things are more important than the improbable idea of "Jesus for breakfast" school lessons and Roe vs. Wade re-legislation. Neither are going to happen.

She was SO STONED during her convention speech. So STONED. I come from a family with addiction problems, and seeing her, and the looks on her family's faces, made my stomach hurt. The woman had a stroke and if you care - check out online how much she has done for children with her charity. Also she has adopted two children. Sorry her stroke may have ruined your day by making her smile not perfect enough for you - but maybe look a little farther than skin deep (if you dare)?
