She's Being Vetted Publicly

Filed under: Politik > Sarah Palin

palinfamily_outside_v01.jpg

It seems like every hour something new comes out about Republican Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

According to ABC News, Alaska Senator Hollis French is announcing that he is moving up the release date of his investigation on Palin.

The charges are that she has abused her powers and her office to get Walt Monegan, the Alaska public safety commissioner, fired.

Hollis has also accused the McCain campaign of using stall tactics in order to prevent him from releasing his final report by October 31st, just four days before the November election.

Originally, the results were scheduled to be released on October 31st, however, sources are now claiming that news will come out almost THREE weeks earlier.

Democratic Senator French says, "It's likely to be damaging to the Governor's administration."

Palin claims she's done nothing wrong and has hired private attorneys to represent her.

How could any woman support a woman who is against equal pay for women? That alone is reason enough to vote for Obama. She's a Stepford wife. She and McCluck want to take us back to the 50's.

  2. 102

Re: Bluebonnet – face it sister! She is no saint! That is the truth! YOu are like the little kid, with her fingers in her ears" I don't wanna listen, I don't believe it, shut up!" now your bottom lip is sticking out! LMAOOOOOOOO

  3. 103

Re: Bluebonnet – and seriously,if you don't believe it just look it up on the internet. there where multiple sites and sources that have stated this. she also believes that global warming is not caused by man. plus she's pro life. HOW CAN SOMEONE BE PRO LIFE AND STILL BELIEVE IN WAR???????

  4. 104

    im so over her….vote obama

  5. 105

palin just made her sitiuation worse!!!!!!!! she is a nut mccain made a big mistake

  6. auds says – reply to this

    106

Anything to give her a bad name, if only they'd publicize all of Obama's bad doings then maybe people would think twice about the few small things she's done!! Obama supporters are RIDICULOUS!!

  7. 107

Re: theregoesonenow – That is an outright lie from liberal blogs and you know it, there is absolutely NO TRUTH that she is against equal pay for women - even the most staunch liberal wouldn't fall for something so blatantly untrue. The more the left attacks her the more famous and admired she becomes, on a national scale and internationally. We have our own Margaret Thatcher.

  8. 108

Re: Bluebonnet – Ummm… not sure where you're getting her international comparison to Margaret Thatcher… but everything i've read is that anyone internally is saying that the REPUBLICAN PARTY in the USA is comparing her to Thatcher… she's not getting that much respect from anyone abroad.

  9. 109

Re: Bluebonnet – These malicious lies about this woman really have to stop. I'm done with being upset about it, I can only look at it for what it is, the liberal left running in fear

Lady, as i have stated before, i'm a republican and have been since '93. (although i'm am switching parties before this election, so thoroughly disgusted i am, i can no longer support an agenda i don't believe in — plus… this broad is NUTS!!)

  10. 110

Re: Bluebonnet – She believes that the government should decide choice for a women. She believes in abstinence only sex education, even though she and now her daughter have to get married because they had pre-marital sex. She believes that creationism should be taught in public schools. It took her six years and 4 colleges to graduate with a BA. I don’t think this is the kind of person I would want one heart beat away from governing this country. Maybe if America was a third rate country she would be spectacular- or maybe turning this country into that is what Republicans want.

    111

This political shit is about as boring as reading about perez and his fucking dog. I thought this site was supposed to be about celebrities, at least that's what the title says. TEAM TMZ!!!

  12. 112

Re: auds – Supporter of gay rights? If the blogger would have read the fine print–a rarity these days–s/he would have understood the following: Gov. Palin reluctantly vetoed the bill because she was advised that it was unconstitutional. She then promised to seek changes to that constitution so that she could approve the bill and thus deny gay partners health benefits.

McCAin is opposed to prohibiting states from firing people based on sexual orientation. In at least 17 states, a person can be fired for simply being gay. McCain is OK with that. The facts speak volumes.

  13. 113

It's always a good sign when liberals resort to hate. The fear, the desperation, the paranoia hiding behind the words in the hateful comments is evidence they feel the election slipping away. It always makes my day to see a liberal get red faced mad.

  14. 114

Re: sweetpiece – FUCK polar bears. Since when do they have more rights than tax paying citizens? Sure they are cute and all but puh-leeeezzzeee! I guess we should all be prisoners to high gas prices; just throw our hands up in the air and say "it won't work" "it wouldn't show results for at least 10 years" "the polar bears" bla bla bla fucking blaaaaa! America is a great country. Great Americans stand beside the country through good and bad; they don't knock it or tell 7 year old little girls that the country is no good anymore. We need independence from foreign oil first and foremost! We have a vast resource and we are complete idiots for not taking advantage. T. Boone Pickens is right!

Re: SquirrelLives – u need to grow up…. ur goin to burn in hell.

    obama 08

  16. 116

Re: SquirrelLives – honey, we are not scared, we are just stating the truth and that is the best insult that you could think of?

  17. 117

Re: Bluebonnet – Re: theregoesonenow – That is an outright lie from liberal blogs and you know it, there is absolutely NO TRUTH that she is against equal pay for women.
well, she rejected a bill that would have GUARANTEED women equal pay in alaska. sounds to me as if she's AGAINST EQUAL PAY. lady i can't make this shit up. it's all public record.

  18. 118

Re: SquirrelLives – The truth hurts.

  19. 119

Re: Melissa is always right – There’s more to leadership than being governor in the 3rd smallest state in the union. Look at Obama’s campaign: pick smart, talented people; lead by example; stay within the budget; run a tight ship; inspire others to your cause; take responsibility for your mistakes and learn from them. I like the way he does things.

McCain wouldn’t have gotten this far without his wife’s checkbook - he was circling the bowl more than once. Hillary, while an exceptional woman in many ways, is still paying off her campaign bills.

Biden is not a risk-free choice - he has been know to put his foot in it now and then, and he isn’t exactly in lockstep with Obama on several issues. But he’s smart and respected. I’m guessing the GOP are mostly upset because Hillary would be an easier target for their swiftboating.

I know there are lots of people who want someone who is a regular guy/gal. I don’t think the office calls for a regular person; it calls for an extraordinarily gifted communicator not a haranguer

  20. 120

    Perez,
She cares more about YOU than Obama. YOU should study both histories more carefully!!!

  21. 121

Seriously folks, I hate ' em all, but this woman is a sham and a joke. I am still amazed that John McCain and the GOP didn't choose someone with a bit more dignity. She's a shrew, and a venom spewing hormonal joke. The GOP could have and should have done so much better after the cleanup they have to do with the Bush regime. RON PAUL is looking better and better.

  23. 123

NAIL THE BITCH! Oh, and I'm 99% sure I fucked her husband in an airport bathroom.

  24. 124

It wasn't meant as an insult, just thumping my chest and laughing. Sorry you don't like it.

  25. 125

Hi all, I'm from Wasilla Alaska and this is just crazy times around here! Too funny to visit perez site and find news about Sarah Palin and our little town. What a soap opera! I don't really keep up with local, state, or national politics but I am now! Spend most of my time enjoying the mountains and hiking and loving living in a beautiful wild place. BTW, I do make perezhilton.com one of the first stops of my day, aside from reading the anchorage daily news online (adn.com) We love you in Wasilla, Perez! You should really come up here and visit sometime. I have 5 lovely dogs that would love to meet Teddy and take him on some really cool hikes in the mountains! Anyway just thought I'd join and leave a comment.

  26. 126

Re: Melissa is always right[/re] Quote from T Boone Pickens website
I've been an oil man all my life, but this is one emergency we can't drill our way out of. But if we create a new renewable energy network, we can break our addiction to foreign oil.
On January 20, 2009, a new President gets sworn in. If we're organized, we can convince Congress to make major changes towards cleaner, cheaper and domestic energy resources.
Keep on writing for it just proves what an idiot you are.

  27. 127

I've got 95k that says she's guilty. Of this and alot of other things. What will the right do when the nudie pics come out. LOL, they should have dumped her when they had the chance.

  28. 128

Re: SoCal – yanno, this is where you lose me. She fires the guy who won't fire him? He threatened to "kill" some of her relatives so she's gonna remove his boss and get him fired so, what, he'll have a bunch more time on his hands? Gee, that's reaaaaaaaally smart there, Sarah Palin. Communication of a threat like that is a crime. Was there a complaint filed about it? The whole thing reeks, how does getting someone fired keep them from killing you. Whatever.

  29. 129

Ohhhhhhhhhhh good. A family of ugly skanks. How long before that baby whore gets knocked up?

  30. 130

Re: blsdjan – A well delivered speech, but so far I heard nothing of real substance from Palin. The McCain operatives are cautiously orchestrating and staging Palin’s every move and carefully crafting her every word with canned scripts.

The truth is Mc Cain is flaunting Palin like his trophy girl… now how sexist is that?

They do not want the American people to really know Palin authentically and honestly and they will not allow her to express her opinions on the hard issues freely and openly.

They will surely keep Palin caged. She is on a short leash with a muzzle and is being well trained to attack on demand. Heel Sarah heel.

  31. 131

Re: Ms. Sugar Walls – Barry also runs his campaign by not letting anyone talk about him unless he says (crazy hack job of a Pastor, terrorist friends, shady land deals, no action while in the Senate other than a run for the presidency); hiding behind his race; throwing his white grandmother under the bus, then doing the same when his racist pastor was unearthed and scrutinized; flip flopping constantly and never admitting he was wrong. My personal favorite, voting "present".

I don't think that the Republicans thought Hilary would be easier to take down at all. The fact is, we have know the Clintons are out and out liars and have since the early 1990s. We could care less who the Dems put on their ticket because the fact is still there that most hard working Americans don't feel that they should foot the bill for every lazy ass out there to not get a job and support themselves and their families. I am sorry that there are people who work out there that don't have insurance. I am not saying that they shouldn't be entitled. National health care is a mistake. It is not the federal governments place to provide it! State government on the other hand is more suitable. And the only way this will work is if the people using the program are paying into the program. Not just "given" to them. I never had that luxury and don't think it is conducive to a productive economy.

    Chicago politics = POISON!

  32. 132

Re: sweetpiece – Yes but if you heard him at the Convention, AND several national radio ads, HE SAYS DRILL, DRILL, DRILL

  33. 133

Re: sweetpiece – He supports drilling. I support drilling and will until we are free from having to be at the mercy of OPEC. He meant that it isn't a problem we can simply drill our way out of. We need to drill our own oil, utilize our natural gas (our greatest) resource, channel wind and solar power. If you think I'm an idiot, more power to you. Goes both ways you know.

  34. 134

Perez, stick to what you know…discussing pictures of Lindsey Lohan's crotch.
You liberals are running scared…face it losers, nobody wants a terrorist with the middle name HUSSAIN in the White House. NObama!
By the way, nobody cares for his American hating/Rev Wright worshipping wife either. NObama! No Way!!

  35. 135

    Re: Ms. Sugar Walls
    Don't forget…
pray at the church of Reverend Wright,
    associate with terrorist Bill Ayers,
have your wife openly hate America…"I'm proud of my country for the first time" (gee, I wonder if she's a terrorist as well????)
Sweetie, you need to pick a better role model.
    Just say NObama

  36. 136

Look at this family looking like a bunch of inbreeds!! The lil one has that possessed look all you conservatives are always terrified about..hahaha What kind of woman has a retarded baby and then accept the nod for the VP. She cant even keep her other daughter from getting pregnant in HS, so how the fuck can she try and RUN AMERICA and raise a handicapped child.
    -

  37. 137

T Boone Pickens has always been an advocate for drilling. His plan for alternative energy sources is not completely altruistic though. He's not doing it out of the goodness of his heart. The man stands to make huge profits from his plan. He will see the payoff immediately through government subsidies the minute Obama implements his plan. Don't be fooled by the "concerned tone" in his voice in those commercials. He has a plan - to get rich at the tax payers expense.

  38. 138

People won't leave a stone unturned looking for something to slime her on. Sounds like desperation to me. She turned the momentum of the campaign on a dime, and the obamamaniacs can't stand it. Not only should they investigate Bill Ayers, the terrorist, but what about Al Mansour??? He supported Obama's education and has direct ties to the Saudi royal family. Will anyone on this blog give a d*mn?? Nope, just sipping from the Kool Aid pitcher.

  39. 139

DAMN, PEREZ, AND THE REST OF THE MEDIA. YOU ALL ARE SOOOOOOOOOO VERY THREATENED OF GOVERNOR PALIN!!!!!!!!! YOU ARE DIGGING TO FIND DIRT ON HER. WHAT ABOUT SORRY ASS BIDEN???????!!!!! WHY THE HELL DONT YOU TALK SHIT ABOUT HIM??? WAIT, ITS CAUSE, NO ONE CARES ABOUT HIM RIGHT, AND CAUSE HE SUCKS.. THE FUCKING DEMOCRATS ARE SUCH LOSERS………………… I CANT WAIT TO SEE OBAMA LOSE THE CAMPAIGN AND SEE ALL YOU FAGS CRY!!

  40. 140

Re: lamaestra` – I give a damn and I for one will do some digging. Being neglected by Barry (after he promised to pay attention to downstate while running for Senate in 2004) there are still so many people who vote Democrat around here because that is their habit. Although several of them share McCain's points of view, their families have voted Democrat all their lives and they follow along like sheep. I love to gather facts when people begin to attack me for my political point of view, which they love to do.

  41. 141

Gotta change your ads Perez my man. I'm starting to think those hugely fat women in the ads are looking like they might be fun. Maybe it's just this cheap beer I've been drinking.

  42. 142

Re: auds – Hey auds, I'm looking at your avie which I figure is your pic and honey you should think twice. A tranny voting for the republicans is like a cow walking itself to the slaughterhouse. They'll bury you my friend

  43. 143

Re: Melissa is always right – Let us review the Palin record to date:

    Troopergate; Abuse of power

Daughter pregnant: Family values, failure to teach her family those values

Associattion with Alaska Independence Party: Wants Alaska out of US

Firing people who do not agree with her: Abuse of power

    Mayor recall

Bridge to nowhere: For it before she was against us, lying about record

    Censorship of library: Against freespeech

Selling the airplane on EBAY to a supporter: Lying, rewarding contrubutors

Dairy board firings: Intolerance of those who disagree

Stonewalling of investigation she said she would cooperate with earlier: Obstruction of justice, pressure on those involved not to cooperate with investigation.

Hiding from interviews: Failure to provide information requred to evaluate her qualifications

City lobbyists for Earmarks: Lying about record

  44. 144

Re: melsteinberg – Understanding Gov. Sarah Palin? Before we can do that, we need to see her on serious interviews by bona fide newspeople: Meet The Press, Stephanopoulos, Sixty Minutes, etc.

What I have seen so far, including her convention speech, smacks of poor judgment, prejudice, and mediocre brains:

    1) religious self-anointment,
    2) opposition to sex education in schools,
    3) anti-feminist stands,
    4) creationism as a subject to be taught in public schools, 5) dirty politics in Alaska as mayor and Governor (some of which may land her in jail),
    6) pitbull-with-lipstick approach to politics,
    7) inexcusable disrespect of other politicians who happen to be on the other side of issues,
    8) a willing puppet of the extreme Evangelical Fundamentalist Right,
    9) abuse of power (incidents that are in the courts,
    10) opposition to valuable salmon fisheries in Alaska for political advantage.

After the interviews, I will be able to complete my assessment. I have only one vote and am very careful to whom I give it. May her god and Lieberman (how ironic!)
    help her!

  45. 145

The fact is, you fuk other people, they fuk you back in one way or another. Palin is gonna get hers, big time.

  46. 146

Re: SquirrelLives – Well of course! But the liberals hate big oil, unless they have their hands in the pot too. People forget the principals of this country. Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. By life I take it to mean that the government should protect us from being killed (before birth and after); liberty gives all the right to our opinions and the freedom to express them; the pursuit of happiness to work, support our families, make lots of money and not have it taken away from us by a big government.

Boone Pickens acted like he was undecided last week on Hannity and Colmes.

  47. 147

Palin’s mocking of Obama’s service to his country as a community organizer, and the approving roar of the Republican throng, is both hypocritical and pathetic. Are all young volunteers to be similarly dismissed? Here is Palin shortly after she finished college:At the same age, Obama, also fresh out of college, was working in Chicago for $13,000 per year for the Developing Communities Project, a church-based community group that was trying to help white, black and Latino blue-collar neighborhoods that were reeling from the steel-mill closings. Obama was elected to the State Senate the same year that Palin was elected Mayor of Wasilla, hardly a position without responsibilities.

  48. 148

Why is it most Liberals look like Woody Allen and most Conservatives look like John Wayne? Palin ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!

  49. 149

Re: Melissa is always right – Post 140
The way you describe your state sounds like my state, Georgia, 30 years ago. We were solid Democrat for decades. It took an embarrassment like Jimmy Carter (from Georgia) to cross over to Republican. Although we were always conservative, conservatism is something that has evaporated in the Democrat Party. As the Democrats move farther and farther to the left, and having your own Jimmy Carter in Obama, the rural conservative Democrat voters of your state will move to the other side.

  50. 150

Formula 1 Liberal Brad Pitt looks pretty fine to me and do you mean John Wayne bloated and red faced from too much booze, ya I agree.

  51. 151

Is there something wrong with McCheese's eyes?? Why does he blink so much??

  52. 152

Re: Formula 1 – breakingnews - he has ticks - he's disabled - mentally and physically - he's a 72 year old POW - nobody wants to acknowledge that - in a year or so, he probably won't know his name - aging means getting old, senility creeps in and you deteriorate - you don't get better - you're moving down the other side of the hill - but - McCain said - change is coming - he means, his change is coming - deterioration -

  53. 153

Re: Melissa is always right – Past 146
He has to appear to neutral. It would undercut his plan to endorse. Don't be fooled. He's no Ross Perot, who was truly concerned about the economy. He would benefit from a more robust economy by investment that didn't rely on government subsidies. I could be completely wrong about Pickens, but my first reaction to this was skepticism. Perot was offering principles not products. There's a HUGE difference.

  54. 154

Re: linsdeyx – You find them attractive because your related to them, your looking to get your taste of sister meat. At least my sister has a vagina, not a dick like yourself.

  55. 155

Re: Ms. Sugar Walls – You're not going to like the new polls that are coming out. Just wanted to warn you.

  56. 156

maybe she is being targeted unfairly but really if some1 has these many "rumors" u gotta figure she must of done something 2 start them…n dont go blaming perez 4 reporting what hes told cuz wen he does make mistakes he acknowledges them n make corrections on a later date. i just think that she's just a lil 2 fishy 2 be a vp…she cant even get her own children 2 believe in the same morals she believes in n she expects a whole nation 2 follow her lead??? i dont think so…the republicans had EIGHT years 2 show us change n show us their "master plan" 2 imporve the country n all they did is make us look worse 2 the rest of the world n put us in deeper debt…not only that but put us in a war that has killed countless innocent ppl n lose 1 too many of our soliders…maybe its time we see wat the democrats can do 4 us…

  57. 157

Palin welcomes the investigation, why no mention of that Perezzz….?

I can practically smell your desperation thru my screen…

  58. 158

Re: Bluebonnet – Saturday, September 06
    Race Poll Results Spread
National Gallup Tracking Obama 47, McCain 45 Obama +2
National Rasmussen Tracking Obama 49, McCain 46 Obama +3

  59. 159

You are so right again! I want to cling to Pickens' ideas but they truly are more than just ideas. I wish that back in the early 1990s when I first voted, I hadn't been such a lame brain who fell under the Clinton spell. I wish I had taken Perot more seriously but then again, back then I was too busy not inhaling and caught up in the trap of liberalism.

  60. 160

    Re: Getty's World – Post 157
Perez has to put up this front that he's pro-Obama because he would be black-balled by all his friends out there in Kaliforny. Perez is of Cuban decent who happen to be very Republican. Remember Elian Gonzalez. Republicans stood up for the boy and have always stood up for the Cuban community. Perez will vote with his wallet. When he steps in that voting booth he will choose McCain because he knows where his interests lie. This is all a front to impress his friends. Beside, Perez is smitten with Palin.

  61. 161

What if people could lose their jobs for being gay? Does that really happen in 17 states? McCluck and Suckrah would probably expand it nationwide. Where I work the office would be almost empty. The male ones are all married. You can tell they are gay but how would you prove it? Can a person be fired based on a rumor? We even sign an ethics clause every year. Meanwhile, they are busy gossiping and speculating about the straight women's personal lives. I suspect they are all Republicans. Oh the irony of it. lmfao

  62. 162

There's a huge earthquake happening on Oprah's comments board right now with about 98% of posts critical of the shows'decision to silence Palin. The criticism comes after Oprah hosted the Obama's twice on her show. What is happening people? Are all these posters Republican or is there a genuine change happening? This is the wrong change! Only Obama's is one we've been waiting for. The backlash from women and the rednecks against Oprah and the media is hurting our Obama. Their mama is beating our Obama!!! It's so sad that Big Hollywood, Big Media, and Bigger-than-Big Obese Perez is losing this election again for the Democrats. Haven't we learned yet? I am seriously starting to think that the media and Hollywood cheerleading is part of a Rovian strategy to drive independents to McCain's arms. So sad!!!

  63. 163

I love you Perez!!! Spread the truth!

  64. 164

Re: SquirrelLives – Why is the McCain campaign so afraid to let the press talk to Palin? Is it because she has no answers other than her snarky, nasty comments about people who have been out there letting us get to know them? Palin is the single worst move John McCain has made since he morphed into Bush after the 2000 election!

  65. 165

she's got a beautiful family, but i can't understand how she has views on laws that would actively set back her daughters, and keep them and all women under mens thumbs. i mean, really, i don't understand how any woman could be against the lilly ledbetter fair pay act, roe-v-wade, or sex education. because we can obviously see that abstinence only ed didn't do a damn thing for bristol.

  66. 166

Re: Melissa is always right – Post 159
You can blame me too. I was so compelled by Perot that I voted for him when I should have voted for Bush. 19 million people voted for Perot in protest to both candidates. We got what we asked for. Fortunately, Bill Clinton and Congress with it's "Contract With America" adopted Perot's ideas and turned our economy around. The 90's were incredibly prosperous because of the fiscal responsibility. This is what McCain is offering us. Obama is offering government expansion, increased taxes that transfer wealth to those that don't earn it. You can call it "Change" if you want but to me it's all bollocks.

  67. 167

Re: && I got a thing for you! – oh, terrific. waste a vote. i can't understand people like you. research lucy burns and alice paul, open a fucking history book, and see the hell people went through just to ensure your lazy ass had the opportunity to vote.

  68. 168

Re: SquirrelLives – so, all poor people are irresponsible and all rich people are responsible?

can you take your head out of your ass for just a minute to find some logic in that? probably not, mr. assumptions.

let me guess, you're an affluent conservative. jesus christ, i'm so tired of people like you.

  69. 169

    Re: HiHater

She is? I knew it! That Palin bitch. I knew I couldn't trust a woman who slept her way to the top with an Eskimo! Let me see. I shouln't vote for Palin because her "son" is really Bristol's, she's had an affair with Bin Laden, she's born a man, she's pro-life, and she has a female slave locked up in her basement! She is so evil. I hate her.

  70. 170

Re: Bluebonnet – she IS against equal pay for women. look it up. mccain said the same thing.

    she's completely anti-womens rights, which is mind-boggling.

  71. 171

Re: auds – why don't you name a few? because i've been following this for months, and haven't heard anything.

seriously, how can you be a republican as a woman? i don't see the logic.

  72. 172

    Great pick McCain!! OBAMA-BIDEN 2008!!!!!

  73. 173

Re: Ms. Sugar Walls – Obama is losing points in the polls and is on a downward trend. Gallup’s poll has McCain within two points nationally after trailing by eight just four days ago. If you don't believe me, believe Gallup:
    .
Barack Obama's advantage over John McCain has been shrinking since the start of the Republican National Convention, and is now down to just two percentage points — 47% to 45% — too close to call. This is according to Gallup Poll Daily tracking from Wednesday through Friday, Sept. 3-5.
    .
Rassumssen has reported that the poll results that include the RNC will not be reported until Tuesday or Wednesday and a considerable jump for McCain/Palin will be evident.
    .
SurveyUSA asked the question "If you were placing a bet today, would you bet that Barack Obama will be elected president? Or, John McCain will be elected president?"
Results: Barack Obama 44%, John McCain 49%
    .
I'm sure when Obama is below McCain in the polls you will scream that polls don't mean anything when you've been cutting and pasting them here for days.

Re: theregoesonenowRe: theregoesonenow – Exactly! Like how can someone fight for the personhood of blacks and women and also fight for the personhood of "babies"? Or how can someone be for animal rights and not be for fetus-rights? Yet Palin calls herself pro-life while also being pro-war? Ridiculous. That's like being a pro-life feminist like Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Alice Paul, Victoria Woodhull, and Mary Wallstonecraft or like being a black Republican like Frederick Douglas. It's so ridiculously hipocritical.

All the lies againts McCain and Palin and all the water-carrying for Obama may be stirring up a thirst for more information about the Rethuglicans and may be creating a lot of doubts about our cherished Democratic assumptions, but we are still fooling quite a few. So let us no get discouraged by this sudden but temporary populist uprising. Big Hollywood, Big Media, and Bigger-than-Big Perez should continue lying for truth and rioting for peace. Go Obama.

  79. 179

Poor people should not be buying houses they can't afford. I'm not affluent, not rich, and not stupid. Head firmly on my shoulders. I bought a house I could afford at a fixed interest rate. I understood the enormous responsibility that purchasing a house required. I understood how ARMs worked and avoided that trap. People caught up in the Housing debacle OVERSPENT on credit they didn't UNDERSTAND. Not my fault. I resent having to foot the bill for these losers.

    Re: Bluebonnet

You are so stupid. Of course news that are hurtful to Obama are irrelevant. Why the hell do you think people know Bristol's name while never having heard of Ayers and Rezko? This is a very important election and if the media has to lie to guarantee an Obama victory against evil Republican policies that has brought upon global warming, recession, Perez's overweight, housing crisis, Basic Instinct 2, unemployment, Avril Lavigne, and rising oil prices even with a war for oil - then so be it.

Gallup Daily: Obama’s Lead Now at 4 PointsObama’s position about halfway between his recent highs and lows

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Saturday shows Barack Obama attracting 46% of the vote while McCain earns 45%. When "leaners" are included, it’s Obama 49%, McCain 46%

    Re: Ms. Sugar Walls

Keep fighting the good fight sis! Obama is still ahead even with a media that is heavily for McCain. Only 10 major networks carried the Dem Convention against 6 for the Rep Convention (BET, Telemundo did not broadcast the RNC). This is prima-facie evidence of bias. 6 networks? Did Fox buy the other 5? Yet, the RNC was watched by more people on fewer stations. Real fairness would have required even more networks carrying the DNC and much fewer carrying the RNC to keep a level playing field and ensure the same viewership numbers. The DNC should have been carried by 15 networks instead and only Fox News should have carried the RNC. The racism and favoritism of the media is so infuriating. The odds are always stacked against us but let us keep hoping for change - but not from Palin of course.

  90. 190

There seems to be a slow shift going on in women's votes. More women, especially Hilaryites, are now considering the McCain/Palin ticket, judging by some early poll numbers and the huge storm brewing on Oprah's comment board right now. This is a very disturbing trend. The selection of Palin was clearly a cynical tactical ploy by McCain to play on identity politics. We Democrats invented this move! It makes me so mad that Rethuglicans are stealing our bread and butter and using it against our identity-political candidate. Grrrr!!!

  91. 191

Just received a GREAT article about the "Barracuda" it is TOO long to post here but if you google Anne Kilkenny+Alaska you will be able to find a letter written by on e of the residence of the town she was elected mayor. VERY interesting….check it out!!!

Re: The London Rich – VERY WELL STATED!!!!

  93. 193

This is BS and deserves no attention at all. It's a non issue. You aren't a political correspondent, though it's clear that you couldn't stand Obama until Hillary lost. Now you are a shill for him. You didn't even think he was worth a crap when Hillary was in the race- you criticized him and said he was not experienced. So what should we ever listen to you for?
btw, you called Bristol a slut, well, at 17 Obama says IN HIS BOOK THAT YOU NEVER READ that he was constantly drunk or coked up at 17. Don't see you saying that!

  94. 194

Since democrats have been in control of congress for almost 42 of the last 50 years, how the HELL can you think they'd do better?

  95. 195

Re: Mayumi – You are quite obviously BRAIN DEAD. But I forgive your uninformed azz.

Perez - You have no idea what you are posting. You are a hollywood robot. So stick to your gig and keep away from the political land. You are so going to get pummeled if you continue this line of crap.

Re: Cherry Bomb – Post 193
I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks Perez is a phony Obama supporter. I believe he's in the closet for McCain. I think he's probably one of those upset Hillary voters that have a vendetta. Posting this crap is his way of pretending for his friends. Plus, it creates clicks. Clicks = $$$

  99. 199

Who cares about that! She's FABULOUS!
