It seems like every hour something new comes out about Republican Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin.
According to ABC News, Alaska Senator Hollis French is announcing that he is moving up the release date of his investigation on Palin.
The charges are that she has abused her powers and her office to get Walt Monegan, the Alaska public safety commissioner, fired.
Hollis has also accused the McCain campaign of using stall tactics in order to prevent him from releasing his final report by October 31st, just four days before the November election.
Originally, the results were scheduled to be released on October 31st, however, sources are now claiming that news will come out almost THREE weeks earlier.
Democratic Senator French says, "It's likely to be damaging to the Governor's administration."
Palin claims she's done nothing wrong and has hired private attorneys to represent her.

She believes in abstinence only sex education, even though she and now her daughter have to get married because they had pre-marital sex. She believes that creationism should be taught in public schools. It took her six years and 4 colleges to graduate with a BA. Palin reluctantly vetoed the bill because she was advised that it was unconstitutional. She then promised to seek changes to that constitution so that she could approve the bill and thus deny gay partners health benefits.
McCAin is opposed to prohibiting states from firing people based on sexual orientation. In at least 17 states, a person can be fired for simply being gay. McCain is OK with that. The facts speak volumes.
It's always a good sign when liberals resort to hate. The fear, the desperation, the paranoia hiding behind the words in the hateful comments is evidence they feel the election slipping away. It always makes my day to see a liberal get red faced mad.

McCain wouldn’t have gotten this far without his wife’s checkbook - he was circling the bowl more than once. Hillary, while an exceptional woman in many ways, is still paying off her campaign bills.
Biden is not a risk-free choice - he has been know to put his foot in it now and then, and he isn’t exactly in lockstep with Obama on several issues. But he’s smart and respected. I’m guessing the GOP are mostly upset because Hillary would be an easier target for their swiftboating.
I know there are lots of people who want someone who is a regular guy/gal. I don’t think the office calls for a regular person; it calls for an extraordinarily gifted communicator not a haranguer

I don't really keep up with local, state, or national politics but I am now! Spend most of my time enjoying the mountains and hiking and loving living in a beautiful wild place. I don't think that the Republicans thought Hilary would be easier to take down at all. The fact is, we have know the Clintons are out and out liars and have since the early 1990s. We could care less who the Dems put on their ticket because the fact is still there that most hard working Americans don't feel that they should foot the bill for every lazy ass out there to not get a job and support themselves and their families. I am sorry that there are people who work out there that don't have insurance. I am not saying that they shouldn't be entitled. National health care is a mistake. It is not the federal governments place to provide it! State government on the other hand is more suitable. And the only way this will work is if the people using the program are paying into the program. Not just "given" to them. I never had that luxury and don't think it is conducive to a productive economy.

T Boone Pickens has always been an advocate for drilling. His plan for alternative energy sources is not completely altruistic though. He's not doing it out of the goodness of his heart. The man stands to make huge profits from his plan. He will see the payoff immediately through government subsidies the minute Obama implements his plan. The way you describe your state sounds like my state, Georgia, 30 years ago. We were solid Democrat for decades. It took an embarrassment like Jimmy Carter (from Georgia) to cross over to Republican. Although we were always conservative, conservatism is something that has evaporated in the Democrat Party. As the Democrats move farther and farther to the left, and having your own Jimmy Carter in Obama, the rural conservative Democrat voters of your state will move to the other side.

There's a huge earthquake happening on Oprah's comments board right now with about 98% of posts critical of the shows'decision to silence Palin. The criticism comes after Oprah hosted the Obama's twice on her show. What is happening people? Are all these posters Republican or is there a genuine change happening? This is the wrong change! Only Obama's is one we've been waiting for. The backlash from women and the rednecks against Oprah and the media is hurting our Obama. Their mama is beating our Obama!!! You can blame me too. I was so compelled by Perot that I voted for him when I should have voted for Bush. 19 million people voted for Perot in protest to both candidates. We got what we asked for. Fortunately, Bill Clinton and Congress with it's "Contract With America" adopted Perot's ideas and turned our economy around. The 90's were incredibly prosperous because of the fiscal responsibility. This is what McCain is offering us. Obama is offering government expansion, increased taxes that transfer wealth to those that don't earn it. Poor people should not be buying houses they can't afford. I'm not affluent, not rich, and not stupid. Head firmly on my shoulders. I bought a house I could afford at a fixed interest rate. I understood the enormous responsibility that purchasing a house required. I understood how ARMs worked and avoided that trap. People caught up in the Housing debacle OVERSPENT on credit they didn't UNDERSTAND. Not my fault. I resent having to foot the bill for these losers.

Keep fighting the good fight sis! Obama is still ahead even with a media that is heavily for McCain. Only 10 major networks carried the Dem Convention against 6 for the Rep Convention (BET, Telemundo did not broadcast the RNC). This is prima-facie evidence of bias. 6 networks? Did Fox buy the other 5? Yet, the RNC was watched by more people on fewer stations. Real fairness would have required even more networks carrying the DNC and much fewer carrying the RNC to keep a level playing field and ensure the same viewership numbers. The DNC should have been carried by 15 networks instead and only Fox News should have carried the RNC. The racism and favoritism of the media is so infuriating. The odds are always stacked against us but let us keep hoping for change - but not from Palin of course.
There seems to be a slow shift going on in women's votes. More women, especially Hilaryites, are now considering the McCain/Palin ticket, judging by some early poll numbers and the huge storm brewing on Oprah's comment board right now. This is a very disturbing trend. The selection of Palin was clearly a cynical tactical ploy by McCain to play on identity politics. We Democrats invented this move! It makes me so mad that Rethuglicans are stealing our bread and butter and using it against our identity-political candidate. Grrrr!!!
