Palin To Tell All!

Filed under: Politik > John McCain > Sarah Palin

82654942__opt12.jpg

With Oprah Winfrey not wanting to interview Sarah Palin, or any other candidate until after elections, the Republican Vice Presidential candidate will have to settle for Charles Gibson.

Palin has agreed to a sit down interview with ABC's Gibson later this week.

This will be Palin's first TV interview since John McCain publicly announced her as his running mate.

Gibson will fly to Alaska and interview her over two days.

Rick Davis, McCain's campaign manager, says of Palin, "She's not scared to answer questions. But you know what? We run our campaign, not the news media. And we'll do things on our timetable."

Gibson did interview McCain during the Republican National Convention, though he chose not to ask about Palin's personal life.

Later, he stated on his blog, "Once you know about her daughter's pregnancy, once you know about her husband's political interest in the Alaska Independent Party, once you know about the special nature of their latest child, I think that's enough."

Well, he BETTER ask her some good questions or the interview is going to suck!

As for Davis, he added, "Why would we want to throw Sarah Palin into a cycle of piranhas called the news media that have nothing better to ask questions about than her personal life and her children? So until at which point in time we feel like the news media is going to treat her with some level of respect and deference, I think it would be foolhardy to put her out into that kind of environment."

Boring! If it were any other candidate, you know they'd be asking all sorts of questions.

Is Palin getting special treatment????

As for Democratic VP hopeful, Sen. Joe Biden, he's already challenged Palin to sit for interviews.

He said in a recent interview, "Eventually she's going to have to sit in front of you like I'm doing and have done. Eventually she's going to have to answer questions and not be sequestered. Eventually she's going to have to answer questions about her record. The difficult hurdles are to come, I think: The first interviews she'll face on issues; the first time she's closely questioned on positions she's taken in her state; and then, of course, the debate with Joe Biden."

Let's see what Gibson decides to ask Palin.

You know they'll be prepping her all week on different questions!

Re: sweetpiece – Umm…and your point is what? No books were banned during her tenure as Governor and the librarian in question (Ms. Baker) is not commenting which means Nada. Oh, and at our places of employment, I am not allowed to speak to the media without the company's premission and neither is my husband at his job. That is a common practice. That's why companies and governments (both small and large) have Community liasons (for example, Dee Dee Myers from the Clintons admin or the late Tony Snow or your local PIO at your hometown Sheriff's office). There is nothing scandelous to your cut and paste post. More smears.

  2. 102

    ABORTION IS APPALLING

  3. 103

NEWS FLASH! McCain now leads Obama 54-44 among likely voters (the most important type of poll) according to Monday's USA Today/Gallup poll. That's an 11-point bounce and McCain's first lead sine January…..THANK YOU SARAH PALIN!!!!!! YES! and after all the media falling all over Lord Obama…..HA HA HA HA HA GO McCain/Palin!

  4. 104

I don't know who scares me more: Palinbull or the people who cheer her no matter what. Her speech and the audiences reaction reminded me of Germany in the late 1930s. SCCAARRRYYY.

  5. 105

I read some of these comments and am disgusted. You've seen this woman on television for all of one week, for a few speeches, and suddenly you all know her personally - - - you feel free to attack her physical appearance, make snide comments comparing her to animals, trash her family, her religious beliefs, and the choices that her family has made for THEMSELVES. You repeat idle gossip and rumors as if they are the gospel truth, and fire yourselves up into a lynch mob furor . I just do not understand this mentality, to use the term loosely. You all sound like a pack of rabid lemmings, ready to head off a cliff at the mere suggestion of someone/thing that does not fall into line with YOUR beliefs. If you must comment on Ms. Palin, try studying her time as the Governor of Alaska, the Mayor of Wasilla, etc. See what she truly stands for and then form your opinions. At least then you will sound somewhat intelligent when you make your comments. GROW UP.

Re: Smirks – It will be the turning point, I think, for the ones that are undecided. However it goes, it will be very exciting. I would love to talk more but I see the wolves are out and I have no interest in insulting people. Or having them insult me. Good luck to you and your journey on this thread ; )

  7. 107

Re: characterassasination1 – Do you haven the slightest idea what you're talking about? I didn't think so. Time to step away from the Republican websites and look into the FACTS. You might find the facts to be a bit more educational.

Of course Gibson isn't going to give Palin special treatment. If he doesn't they scream sexism. Besides, while he claims to be an conventinal liberal, I believe he's a closet republican.

  8. 108

Re: SweetMelissa1224 – this would be incredble if it were true, can you imagine a gay president, now that's progressive!

  9. 109

kiddies let's review……McCain is leading in the poles and Obama has confirmed his Muslim Faith to Stephanopolous…life is Good!
God Bless America ….McCain/Palin are headed to the White House!!!!

  10. 110

How stupid do republicans think we all are? They have come out and said this is an election about "personalities," and then won't take questions about Ms. Hockey Mom's personal life!? She can use her knocked up daughter to gain the anti-choice vote but can't talk about it? I think the Republicans have gotten away with so much crap in the last 8 years that now they are just testing to see how far they can go — like a spoiled child. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE everyone vote democrat and let them know that they can't get away with this shiz anymore!!!

  11. 111

Re: succulent – When was the last time you were in Wasilla?? I was there a few months ago, and didn't notice the same things your comments rants on and on about.

  12. 112

Hmm. Yes abortion is something I wouldn't want anyone to have to go through, but telling a victim of rape that she can't have a choice is the act of a control freak. It's not compassionate or caring. Once again so many of these extreme views are nothing more than a way to control how people think and act.

  13. 113

Why do you republicans even read this blog if everything on it bothers you so much? This is obviously a blog that accepting of gay people, other religions, international perspectives, etc. All things you seem to find offensive.

I'm sure Heidi Montag has a blog that would be more up your alley.

  14. 114

]Re: AnneAnne[/re] True. The audience had this look of orgasim except for Newt Greenwich. I thought he looked a bit, " what the fuck!" The women were ready to hump her and the old guys were frothing at the mouth. Honestly, from what I read here, I am truly frightened. No one learned anything from the last 8 years. Sad.

  15. 115

Re: melsteinberg – That's a fact, Jack….and I LOVE IT, so tired of the media up to their necks licking Obama's butt…Americans are smarter than that…I mean look at Obama…he would have been beat up daily in my high school…and not beacuse he's (half) black, because he's a super-nerd!

Re: secondcoming – Honestly I don't care either way. What I do care about is how the media is ready to jump on ANY rumor involving Sarah Palin yet when a rumor like this comes out - it never gets addressed. This is HUGE! I mean, there were the rumors of a Palin affair, rumors that Sarah had her daughters baby, rumors that a DNA test was demanded…I mean, seriously!

  18. 118

Re: MagsCo – Have you actually READ some of the comments on this article alone????? Accepting is hardly the word I would use.

  19. 119

Re: MagsCo – I happen to be an educated GAY republican (hard to believe, but we exist) and I don't think we gays deserve any special rights, we already get domestic benefits..I don't think we deserve equal marriage… we know what we have together and I don't need a government sanction of my love, please. Go McCain/Palin!!!!

  20. 120

    Re: CrazyMomma
LOL! Actually, I know EXACTLY what I am talking about. I majored in political science and journalism and spent several years as a REAL journalist at REAL networks! I do my homework because I believe in free speech and the truth prevailing. I look at all the blogs, the political websites, even the liberal hack joke MSNBC. I've read all of Obama's books and McCain's and I've read a more than a few others on both of them written by outside sources! Have you???? I have never been as ashamed of my former profession as I am now. The media bias and cover-up for Barack Obama is disgusting. And by the way, I am an INDEPENDENT… I have voted for Dole, Clinton, Gore and Bush. In fact, I voted for McCain when he ran against Bush in the 2000 primaries because I was impressed with his Maverick persona and bi-partisan record. I make my decision based on policy (which I am well-versed on) and FACTS. I don't drink the Messiah kool-aid and I believe Hillary was given a raw deal. Both she and Palin have suffered horrific attacks from the media trying to keep women out of positions of power. I don't need to do my homework, I've done it.

  21. 121

Speaking before voters in Colorado Springs, the Republican vice presidential nominee claimed that lending giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac had "gotten too big and too expensive to the taxpayers." BUT, the companies, as McClatchy reported, "aren't taxpayer funded but operate as private companies. The takeover may result in a taxpayer bailout during reorganization."

Even conservative economists agree the statement demonstrated a lack of understanding about one of the key economic issues likely to face the next administration.

I actually own a condo that is losing value as we speak. I need a President AND a VP who understand this stuff and can help our economy. She may be a saavy politician but she is too inexperienced to run our country.

  23. 123

The list of books is FAKE. Debunked by Snopes Report. I can't believe how many Republicans come to this website! Shocking. Palin is poorly educated, has no idea what a VP actually does, has paid zero attention to US foreign policy because she barely understood the duties of running Alaska, and used her power as Gov to fire people in petty, childish vendettas. She's dumb, she's petty and she wants to force women, gays, and anyone not a Bible reader to bend to her ideas and will. She refuses to allow anyone to have differing beliefs or ideas to simply live in peace.

She also hunts innocent animals from helicopters. She has no idea what is really decent or fair.

I can't believe people find her attractive. I find her repulsive.

  24. 124

I'm more interested in the polls state by state.

  25. 125

    Re: characterassasination1
I enjoy reading your posts. I too, have read the books you mention. I've also read Michelle Obama's dissertation about the Black experience at Princeton. I'm about to start on "Black Theology and Black Power" written by James Cone in 1969. This book is a cornerstone of Reverend Wright's preached philosophy and as such, has a direct link to Obama. I've also read accounts of the dissolution of McCain's first marriage and the shameful way he treated his first wife, as well I have researched the "Keating Five" testimony and reports. All in all, I am voting for McCain… but you should ALL educate yourselves and make your own decision rather than letting the MSM (main-stream media) make it for you.

  27. 127

Re: SweetMelissa1224 – That's because they are RUMORS, which are, by their very nature, destructive and devisive. Until a rumor is substantiated, it does nothing but cause trouble.

Re: kendoll3000 – OMG, I adore you!! A reasonable, rational-sounding person of political belief - - whatever belief that may be!! :)

  29. 129

After that last fiasco with ABC, I wouldn't be at all surprised if Plain is given the questions before hand so that she can actually answer. It's not a secret that Palin has no background with with going on in the world. She has admitted not keeping up with the WARS. She has admitted she has no clue what it is a VP does. So it's kinda funny now only 11 days later she now will know what to say. THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE NOT SO STUPID PALIN. WE ARE NOT THAT STUPID.!!!!!!!!!

  30. 130

    Re: Charmer – Post 107
Educating oneself on the facts would be a reasonable and logical thing to do. Reason and logic were tossed out the window as soon as Palin was announced. They have been replaced with hate and lies.

    Sarah is a LIAR.

Even the Associated Press knows that:

"The Associated Press just wrote about Palin's speech today. She lied in it. A lot. And they caught her.
John McCain and Sarah Palin are criticizing Democrat Barack Obama over requesting money for his home state of Illinois even though the Alaska governor's record is mixed.

At a rally, the Republican presidential nominee and his running mate accused Obama of requesting nearly $1 billion in earmarks.

In fact, Obama hasn't asked for any earmarks this year and last year, he sought $311 million worth.

Palin has cut back on pork-barrel requests, but in her two years as governor, Alaska has requested nearly $750 million, by far the largest per-capita request in the nation."

Anyone who continues to fall for the LIES of the republiCONs is a stupid, ignorant reality-show TRAITOR to our US DEMOCRACY.

Out with LIARS in our government.
    Out with bush.
    Out with McCain aka McSame
    Out with Sarah Palin
    Out with republiCONs.

  35. 135

Re: Charmer – Thank you, Charmer, I like to think I'm reasonable, and another point, if Obama had picked Clinton, I have a feeling they would have won going away, what a mistake for picking Biden, a "entrenched-old-school democrat" Palin will pick him apart like an eagle picks apart a salmon in Alaska!!!!!

  36. 136

Re: Quenepa"She has admitted she has no clue what it is a VP does." – Do you have any clue what the VP does? The Constitution limits the official VP duties to 1) become President should the President become unable to serve, and 2) Preside over the Senate (which consists of casting a vote in the event of a tie). Really, that's pretty much it. What is she supposed to do the other 364 days of the year?
    -
Each President/VP team decides on its own what other duties/responsibilities the VP will assume… so it's not a stupid issue to admit ignorance on. I found her admission honest and refreshing. She doesn't pretend to know it all. And I'm sure whatever she and McCain decide her duties should be, she will perform them well.

I think things are bleak for Obama. He's not a great debater and John Kerry actually was quite good. His media campaign sucks.
    -
Axelrod should hang his head in Shame. Never have we had such an incompetent "strategist".
    -
I think I'm going to cry. I know that's not helpful in any way. I should probably just keep it to myself. But 10 POINTS!!!! Oh dear. I wish the debates were sooner. The first one is 20 days away.
    -
I want to scream! What is wrong with all of these stupid idiots! Do people really want four more years of the same bullshit!!!! When will they learn? When our nation is in ruins?

  44. 144

Re: kendoll3000 – I too think people will be surprised by Palin! She's intelligent, has a great sense of humor, and is tenancious. As we in Alaska have found, she fights for her constituents and their needs. It will be very interesting to see how she & Biden handle the debates. I am most interested to see who keeps it on a professional level, and who, if anyone, drops to a name-calling personal level. No worries, though, because Palin can hold her own and then some. Have a lovely week! :)

  45. 145

Re: MagsCo – #115 Republicans read this blog for entertainment because last time I checked, this is a FREE COUNTRY. We can read and post about whatever we wish, just like the Democrats can.

  46. 146

Re: Smirks – #140 - LOL! I was reading through all the posts and wondered the same thing!!

  47. 147

Awesome Smirks! If everyone did their research like we have (regardless of party) this election wouldn't be so close! I am a Moderate pro-choice, pro-gay rights woman. The best and most experienced team to reform this country and lead this nation forward is the Republican ticket this year. Dems & MSM, next time properly vet your candidates and pick somone with DOCUMENTED experience.

    McCain/Palin 2008!!!!!!!!!!!

  48. 148

Re: Charmer – Thanks, you have a great week, too. I find it hysterical that there are so few Obama spporters chiming in, just shows how little they know and how shallow their knowledge is. Just like the thousands of Obama supporters left their American flags (handed out for the event) as trash at the "stadium event" for Obama…what a disgrace, but the McCain crew rescued the flags and handed them out last week at a rally in Colorado Springs! Typical lemmings

  49. 149

Re: kendoll3000 – You are an idiot. A Gay person supporting
McCain and NOT being for same-sex marriage = equal rights? You are obviously self-loathing.

  51. 151

Re: kendoll3000 – And by the way, us Democrats are not bothering to comment on this site, because it's pointless to debate with morons like YOU.

  52. 152

Ok, I cannot believe that nobody knows why Obama is saying "All 57 states". It has nothing to do with Muslims people. If anyone actually paid attention to the republican convention, you would know that America counts American Samoa, Guam and a few other countries as being part of the United States. They're just not considered states. Do your research before you accuse people of things. Their delegates voted to nominate John McCain in the official delegate vote after his speech. I hate to think that people like you guys are going to elect that senior citizen and his crony to the White House. No wonder republicans have lasted this long……

  53. 153

Re: Moluver – I've got all the rights I need, pal. I've been in a relationship for over two years, and my partner and I don't need the Govmt to prove our relationship. What I do in my private life should be no concern of the govmnt. I live in CA, and domestic rights are just fine, leave the straight people their marriage rights, meant for procreation to begin with! Duh.

  54. 154

If you're tired of the one-sided political postings, use the bricks and stones gossip site instead.

  55. 155

This woman who had an affair on her husband, is anti-abortion but thinks nothing of killing animals she doesn't need for food, leaves her fiour month special needs child with who? while she's off looking for Prestige in Washington will be President if old Man McCain gets cancer for a 5th time and dies. OMG….it's too horrible to even think about

  56. 156

Re: kendoll3000 – #150 - The Dems claimed that they were going to re-use them later. But, said flags were found in trash bags. I always put stuff I plan to reuse in trash bags, don't you? lol

  57. 157

That interview will be the least of her problems - Hillary's on a warpath, backing Obama 110% now. Am wondering: had McCain nominated a male VP, would Hillarybe giving her former challenger such a strong backing now? Must be bitter seeing Palin come out of nowhere and get so close to the prize…

  58. 158

Re: honey97431 – Had McCain not been running so scared, he'd never have considered a woman, much less Palin. IF he makes it to the White House, you can bet your ass the first order of things will be kicking hers to the curb….

  59. 159

put your flag down for a few minutes. I am not a moron, your buddies aren't here because it doesn't look good for Obama right now…awww. I know there's a long way to go until election day, but go check out info on polls on all the issues regarding the campaign and your Freshman Senator is in trouble. I would have considered voting for Clinton, but Barack is a joke. Stop the name-calling, it belittles you.

  60. 160

Re: kendoll3000 – Show isn't over til the fat lady sings…and she's being prepped right now.

  61. 161

    Re: characterassasination1
I, too, am a moderate-conservative woman voter. As such, I find it especially refreshing that McCain has promised to include Democrats in his cabinet if elected -and I absolutely believe he will. I honestly can't see Obama/Biden reaching out in such a bi-partisan manner, but I really think the bi-partisan approach is this country's salvation. I can't help but think Hillary may have done the same. Shame she is not on the Dem ticket.

  62. 162

Re: characterassasination1 – WTF…with you and everyone slamming Islam like it's a foregone conclusion that a Muslim is a terrorist?! Are all German's Nazis? Speaking of 9/11…did you enlist? And how many times have you and yours been deployed? Or has your contribution been to stop eating doeners and flagging down turban-wearing cabbies?

  63. 163

Re: Melissa is always right – and the only place you heard about it was on FoxNews, I checked all around and they were the only ones, it shows CNN, MSNBC and others are still entrenched up Lord Obama's bum!

  64. 164

Re: Hpotterfan77 – #158 I'm not buying that excuse for his misstatement. These territories of the United States add up to more than 7; (Puerto Rico; Guam; U.S. Virgin Islands; American Samoa; Northern Mariana Islands; Midway Islands; Wake Island; Johnston Atoll; Baker, Howland, and Jarvis Islands; Kingman Reef; Navassa Island; Palmyra Atoll). I would fully expect the man who is trying to be the leader of our Country to know that, no excuses. Like Joe Biden himself said of Barry, the presidency is not something that lends itself to on-the-job training.

  65. 165

Notice how Perez has posted absolutely NOTHING regarding the latest polls showing McCain taking the lead. He must be just as depressed as the rest of the left-liberal-democrats. It's tough watching the election slip away right before your eyes.

  66. 166

Palin tried to ban books from a library in alaska and when the librarian refused she was promptly fired. It is scary to think that if MCcain won the election Palin would run this country.

  67. 167

    Re: SquirrelLives
It's funny how quiet it is… they must all have deserted the sinking ship that is the Obama/Biden campaign. Don't worry though… one "headline" about how Palin burped and didn't say, "Excuse me" will get them all fired up again.

  68. 168

    Re: Smirks – Post 169
God forbid she rips a fart out loud. The fart heard ’round the world.

  69. 169

Re: SquirrelLives – What do you expect from Perez, talk about jumping off the bandwagon, HA HA McCain/Palin ticket up 7 points in OH, every republican who was won OH since Lincoln, has won the Presidency…..scary thought, huh Obummers?

  70. 170

Re: SquirrelLives – #167 next we will hear all about daughter Willow's menstrual cycles, or what was found in one of son Trig's used diapers . . . . . . . .

  71. 171

    Re: waslike
Wrong. This story has already been discredited. Quit being ignorant and repeating what you hear. Really, take two minutes to find out the truth before you post. Palin asked, hypothetically, about banning books. There was never any "list".

  72. 172

Re: SweetMelissa1224 – that's exactly right. And isn't it amazing how all these liberals can sit here and say the republicans control the media?! Every news channel (but fox), magazine, talk show, EVEN MTV VMA'S are so bluntly biased the only thing left for them to do would be to just shout out to the world they hate republicans and want Obama.

  76. 176

Wow.. reading the liberals comments is fun! They use such colorful and creative language. It's like swimming in a cess pool.

  77. 177

Special treatment for Sarah? Please! What man runs for office and is criticized for having a pregnant daughter or a son with a disability? Or is criticized about a carseat or what color his highlights are? Liberals have become a party of poor taste led by misgyn. assholes. Keep it up Liberals and women will vote for Palin in droves!

    178

We know, for a fact, that Sarah Palin lied about being "against" the infamous Bridge to Nowhere. I don't mean that she flip-flopped. I don't mean she waffled, or equivocated, or mislead, or was disingenuous, or misspoke. I mean she lied outright. Period. She was, in fact, a supporter of the now-mocked symbol of pork and earmarks. She was a supporter during the entire process, up until the now-magical point when the entire thing had devolved into farce, and not even Republicans could attach themselves to such a boondoggle without paying a political price. Then, and only then, did she distance herself from it.

And by "distance herself", we mean "kept the money".

So she lied. Baldly and repeatedly. McCain is now on a multistate tour, repeating the very same lies — and for Republicans, they are applause lines.
So what of it, if Sarah Palin says crooked things with a straight face? Name me one Republican who will object. Name me one — just ONE — diehard conservative who will be angry at the lie, instead of praising her for it. To hell with facts, there is another election to be won.

Palin may be an unapologetic liar, but there isn't anything even slightly surprising about that.

Waaah, Sarah Polesmoker is afraid of the piranhas! I thought she was supposed to be a "barracuda"! LOL! So now that there's a Repube in center stage making an ass out of herself and the entire GOP, suddenly issues of personal life are irrelevant… but if the shoe was on the other foot… Typical hypocritical Repube double standards… how embarassing…

Chill Perez, you're getting to sounds as desperate as the rest of the media.

they should be grilling her on policies, her voting history, and her political career in general. But not on her personal life. Both sides have made it clear that families should really be off limits. It's very classless for the media to comment on her life outside of politics.

In re to the front page NYT article on Palin's pregnancy, aside from the judgement issues, concealment and lying etc. the story she's telling seems a little odd. First of all, a fetus' lungs fully develop in the last 4-5 weeks of gestation. If a child w/ special needs was born that early, s/he would most certainly be in the NICU to receive antibiotics. Usually when mother's of an "advanced age," as they call pregnant women 35

I respect Palin's choice to keep her child with down syndrome as I do with Bristol's choice to keep her own child, but wait…she's not willing to give us OUR right to make our own decision?

I also can't believe she is AGAINST teaching sex ed in schools. Her policies are just so outdated and not fit for our generation of raging hormones! I just can't vote for someone like that.

  85. 185

I'm more excited about the Palin/Biden debates than McCain/Obama sit-down! I can't wait to see if the media is going to show favoritism to the men on the ticket!

  86. 186

This woman is CRAZY. She LIES about her fighting TAXABUSE, while SHE herself has DECLARED expenses she never spent (so a SCAMMER herself). And to really put her in the MENTAL HOME: she thinks the Iraq WAR is 'a task that is from God'. At least the BLUES brothers were making MUSIC. This woman is a DANGER to the world and the USA in particular!

  87. 187

Ask her about her connections and membership to those brainwashing clubs known as Jesus Camps.!!!!!!!

  88. 188

I love have Oprah contradicted herself in her statement. She doesn't want to use her show as a platform for political candidates…unless they're Barack Obama supporters of course.

Re: succulent – Have you ever been to Wasilla? I saw Wasilla last night on TV and it was absolutely beautiful. The view of the surrounding mountains are spectacular, and I live at the foothills of the Rockies. The people of Wasilla that were interviewed were smart and very down to earth. They love their community, for obvious reasons, and they all had very positive remarks about their former Mayer and current Governor, Sarah Palin.

Re: pinkindie – Let's see, it took Barack Hussein No-bama nearly a year to agree and be interviewed by Bill O'Reilly. I think he did well and stuttered through his answers, but slipped in another interview the next day when he mentioned his Muslim faith, whoops he meant to say Christian faith, I guess? When is the old guy with hair plugs going to be interviewed? I'm looking forward to a Biden/Palin debate.

  91. 191

Re: Moluver – Kinda like Barack Hussein No-bama saying he'll "debate McCain anytime anywhere" but refuses to find the time to schedule it. Also it took him nearly a year to agree and be interviewed by Bill O'Reilly. Governor Palin has been in the race for a week and a half and you say the Republicans are hiding her? Don't worry, you'll be seeing a lot more of her for the next 12 years. McCain/Palin '08 President Palin '12.

Re: SquirrelLives – You're so right. Even the liberal Saturday Night Live cast did skits about it, it was such a joke.

Re: sweetpiece – I'd rather have the bull dog with lipstick then the old fart with HAIR-PLUGS (yes, pubic hairs are on his head). How could we possibly look at that shiz for 4 years?

Re: Mrs. Palin-Carmody – Center stage and bringing the Republican party together and as the polls reflect, flying past the Dems.

"we'll be doing this on our timetable" means "we'll be doing this when we feel she's able to dodge the trainwreck that will inevitably happen in this interview."

    mcain/palin '08 is a joke.

country first? more like country CLUBS first.

Re: elRey – Nope. Palin initially stated that she "would not stand in the way of progress." However, as time passed and she was able to do further research into the Bridge to Nowhere, she decided that it was a fiscally irresponsible project, and so stood against it. Tell me, haven't YOU ever felt one way about something, and then later changed your mind? How horrid it would be if we all had to announce our positions, and then stick to them, no matter what. Why do you expect more from your politians that you are able to give yourself?
