This Is Not Photoshopped

Yes, that's real.
Republican Vice Presidential candidate - and new celebrity - Sara Palin is on the cover of the new issue of Newsweek.
Sexy gun!
If you don't vote for her….she'll shoot you!

shit lady
what a creeper
Palin is just so different from all politicans–I love her
Re: honey97431 – Oh please - your comment: More Democrats have college degrees because their to lazy to get a realy hard working job. "
-
-
Are you joking??? Democrats have far higher percentage of upper level degrees because they value education - republicans tend to be, well, stupid.
-
Just the facts. By the way - your degree? I've a masters in micro-economics - you?
Re: SquirrelLives – Okay, PLEASE EXPLAIN to me why you think Palin is a "choice of strength". I think she's the opposite of that. Palin wants to bring women back to the dark ages by taking away their rights, and I'm ashamed that she thinks she's any sort of representation for women in the US. Palin has a pathetic political record….she is just not qualified for this position. People, please do some research before you blindly support this joke of a VP candidate!! And this is coming from someone who voted Republican in the last 2 presidential elections. Sarah Palin is a disgrace to women everywhere.
Re: Melissa is always right – Melissa - how did YOU vote for BUSH last time???
-
-
Think about it — all the Republicans here - provided they were old enough to vote in the last election — VOTED FOR . . . DUBYA.
-
That's who all the Republicans here were so hot and bothered for last time - the same rhetoric they are spouting now — only it was for . . . DUBYA.
-
-Dumbest damn president of all time.
Re: nicola123 – That's exactly what I wanted to know. Thanks for the clarification. I have always said that it would be great to have a woman in the White House (the "good ole boys" haven't exactly done a bang-up job) but there is no way in hell I will vote for this bitch. Let's vote someone in who wants to take us back 30 years!! Fuck no. Obama it is.
Part 2 - from Canadian Consensus

More subtly, the dweller in an urban apartment complex cannot imagine a life in which everything he does is not bound by fussy rules and regulations, and in which any act of non-conformity (lighting a cigarette, for instance) must be greeted with hysterical alarm. In this sense, our vast modern cities, not only in Canada but everywhere, breed Pavlovian conformity to their own physical requirements, and systematically replace moral imperatives with bureaucratic ones. (snip)
I'm surprised Newsweek did the Republican party such a favor. Great! Like her even more now, and this cover finally convinced 2 Dem. friends of mine to vote McCain.
Re: sweetpiece –
"The percentage of tax payer money going to welfare is so small. What does that say about our country. That we are more willing to spend money to kill than to help educate and feed those in NEED!"
I hear you. I just get really angry when it seems like people get absolutely vicious with a candidate just because she's a woman. If the Republican VP candidate were a man who liked hunting (and held Palin's views on other issues), do you think Newsweek would have run a cover photo with him holding a shotgun? No way! Do you think people would be printing t-shirts saying "VPILF"? Its degrading and sexist.
Re: McPalin08 – Great job on a wonderfully intelligent and concise statement!
Re: krazihottkelli/bitchygrl – NICE TO SEE YOU! AND I AM BACK FOR AWHILE!
Re: _Alice_ –
I am actually pro Choice and pro LGBT, to really solve the problem you have to start where they begin…she shouldn't be a crackhead, she should have a job. I had tons of friends on welfare in highschool..I'm not against it, however you can only go so far. When it gets to the point that there getting so much welfare money they no longer feel the need or desire to get a job then you've become one of those people lazy sitting on your ass getting free handouts. Believe me when you pay your own bills and aren't getting free money it gives you motivation to just get a job, even if it's at McDonalds. My first job ever was a clown doing birthday parties at McDonalds..now I do commercials in LA and support myself. Obama wants to raise my taxes tremendously so people can get Even More free handouts..thats NOT the answer and all it does is make it harder for ME to support MYSELF and pretty soon I'll be working at McDonalds again like I did when I was 14 and I'll need welfare….see my point??
Re: Charmer – Honey, is it MY fault TODD likes RODS??? Thank heavens for those boner in a bottle pills or Sarah wouldn't have all those kids to pimp out to the media! Geesh.
"This is not photoshopped" You are so out of it…She lives in Alaska not Malibu…Yes people have guns and shoot animals too! You are so bias it is ridiculous!
Re: SquirrelLives – And this is what we DO NOT have in Alaska, thank goodness!!! Freedom to be YOU
Re: _Alice_ – #204 Yes it is very educational once you've weeded out the trolls! That is the great thing about our Country, we have the freedom to oppose! Republican or Democrat, Liberal or Conservative we all must exercise our right to vote!
Re: SweetMelissa1224 –
Please you give him so much credit the only reason Obama threw his pastor under the Bus is because he had to in order to get your Vote and not make himself look like the Anti White American he is.
Re: Cybele – actually what she was refferring to was the fact that women over 35 greatly increase the risk of passing along downs…..so if you want to tell someone they are lacking the intelligence gene (does it exsist smart ass?) atleast know enough about the topic to give a valid answer MORON!!!
Re: LettyB – #175. Rolling on the floor, darling!
Re: State ziti – Are you kidding me, it's racist Azzholes like you that have our country divided. Have you looked up you family tree lately? There's NO ONE that is 100% anything my friend. So people like you that thinks that White is right and Black is not is completely fooling themselves. Take a history class do some research into your family tree and then get back to me. I'm such that you will find that you have African American blood flowing through you veins, then what will you do KILL YOURSELF idiot. And this is coming from someone that doesn't consider themselves white nor black just American.
Re: Sparkie715 – Post 214

I think the latest polls would be the first clue. The fear on display by the left-liberal-democrats would be clue #2.
-
Seems her position on abortion drives liberal up a tree. Don't you realize, Obama's position does the same to us. Seems we've leveled the playing field. We are tired of having the issue rammed down our throats. Liberals refuse to budge in the slightest. So, if the only way to make up some ground is to fight, then who better to fight it than a woman. This should have never been legislated from the bench. It should be a states rights issue. If your state wants abortion, then let the people of your state decide. Let's vote on it. The left is afraid of that vote.
Re: sweetpiece –
No actually thats the TRUE DEMOCRATIC way…us republicans believe in working hard for what you have. But because of all the lazy idiots and these two companies that us Republicans have been warning and warning about…now the government has to bail them out or our economy would collapse!! Because people on welfare who can't even pay their monthly bills tried to get a loan they knew they couldn't afford and now they can't pay the loans back!! It's called Basic Economics, when you get to college sign up for a class!
Re: arrora – Obama doesn't have my vote! Are you kidding?
Re: SquirrelLives – #207 - I think you will be correct on this one! Hilary's been awful quiet these past two weeks. Now that Barry wants her involved she's flying under the radar. You know she is still ticked off about the way the media treated her during the primaries. I bet she is laughing her butt off at all this and silently cheering for Senator McCain and Governor Palin.
Re: arrora – Yes, I see your point. And thank you for remaining respectful ; )
Obama only wants to raise the taxes on the people who can afford it most i.e. those who make a salary of $250,000 or more. The middle class has been in the highest tax bracket for years and it makes no sense. If you make more money you should pay taxes at a higher rate. Starting from the wealthiest and the rate should decrease the less you make. LOGICAL HUH? So all you idiots have not bee LISTENING to OBAMA. He will help you all like me who are in the midlle class getting squeezed like a brat out of PALIN's bloody vagina. Its the republicans that want to keep taxing you so they dont have to pay for welfare out of their pockets. I agree some people take advantage of welfare, but not helping only creates more crime. AAAAH! common sense!
Here's some interesting facts about welfare….Myth: People on welfare are usually black, teenage mothers who stay on ten years at a time.
Fact: Most welfare recipients are non-black, adult and on welfare less than two years at a time.
Summary
According to the statistics, whites form the largest racial group on welfare; half of all welfare recipients leave in the first two years; and teenagers form less than 8 percent of all welfare mothers.
Argument
Here are the statistics on welfare recipients:
Traits of families on AFDC (1)
Race
————–
White 38.8%
Black 37.2
Hispanic 17.8
Asian 2.8
Other 3.4
Oh my god people….Sarah Palin will not be running the country. McCain will and he's an idiot. You are not voting for her…..you are voting for THEM!!!! And I question her family values…5 kids, one special needs and one who obviously needed a wee bit more guidance and attention than she got. All this BEFORE she was a nominee. Can't imagine she will have too much time to parent if she's Vice President….
Woman or not….the Republican Ticket WILL NOT get my vote.
Re: Leona$ Gho$t – I adore your sense of humor, but wish that we could all just leave the speculation and rumor out of this, move onto real issues. Have a lovely Tuesday!!

Re: Melissa is always right – Post 236
More than the media, I think she's really pissed at Obama and her party. The Democrats turned on her. She was their darling until Obama came along. Gov. Richardson typifies this. His endorsement of Obama really pissed Bill off. Plus, she told Obama she wasn't going to be his Palin attack dog. That job now falls on Biden, whom no one cares about. What a bad choice he was. Obama will forever regret it.
Re: LULU~* – Ok LuLu, I'll play. The first election I voted in was 1992 - voted for Clinton. 1996 - voted for Clinton. 2000 - voted for Gore. Stopped smoking pot, 9/11 happened, I woke up and in 2004 - voted for Bush.
Re: Charmer – You're about as charming as the anal wart on your forehead.
Re: Alliestp – Sexist thing to say. DO YOU QUESTION OBAMA and his parenting skills? NO - but because she's a woman you do. Please - start living in the here and now where there are working mothers who can parent as well! And guess what? I am a working parent who happens to be a single mom - doesn't mean I love my child any less or he's not a top priority.
What is this, 1955? Does anyone EVER ask a male candidate with kids if he'll have time for the job? Should we impose this same rationale to the job market? Should women applicants who have kids (or, god forbid, kids with special needs) be automatically disqualified from consideration? Yeah, she has a family AND she works - isn't this what feminists wanted?
Re: Melissa is always right – OK then, go back to sleep. You were smarter and less self righteous then I can only guess.

Re: torrrieB – You know what? Grow a fricken brain and don't defend Islam to Americans alright? In the name of ISLAM 250,000 people have been killed in Darfur Sudan by the MUSLIM ran government. The world's next genocide post Holacaust. I really don't have any sympathy whatsoever for the religion that commits mass murders in the name of it's "god" yes lower case g because it's about as relivant as one of the many greek gods from the myths we read in Highschool. They believe in intimidation to convert Christians and even civilians without a religious affiliation over to Islam. I'm sorry was 9/11 overkill for you? Too much coverage it just got old and boring. Do you need another reminder as to what this "religion" is capable of doing in the name ALLAH? To the victims and to the families of those victims all over the world that are victims of torture, death and intimidation in the name of allah maybe their numbers aren't high enough for you to take them seriously. Islam has 2 groups Sunni's and Shiites but you might be surprised to know that it's still the same qaran and the same god the only thing they disagree on is the leaders, the heirs of Mohammed. Seriously go join their cult and please leave America a better place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Re: Renee26 –
Do you not understand Math. If I make 250,000 a year and we all get the same percentage taken out of our taxes…then the person making $250,000 does have more money taken out. Lets have a math class. If you make 50,000 a year and take out 5% taxes you get $2,500 taken out…if you make $250,000 and you take out 5% taxes you get $12,500 taken out. Logical Huh??
There's no reason the percentage should go up so that someone making $250,000 ends up paying 50% more in taxes. Believe it or not people who make $250,000 have morgage payments, families to support and many live on a month to month basis with little money to spare. In this economic state it is ridiculous to raise taxes, especially on the middle class!
Secondly the top percentage of income earners in america are the people supplying the jobs to the lower class, if their taxes increase it is called the "trickle down effect" and it causes massive wage cuts and lay offs so in the end the lower income families suffer.BASIC ECONOMICS PEOPLE!!!!
Re: Melissa is always right – Post 246- LOL, nice….
Re: SweetMelissa1224 – #249 - Right are you too, Melissa!
Both Barry and Michelle Obama are career people. If the Libs think Governor Palin should be staying home raising her kids, then Michelle should be doing the same; if that is the woman's place.
Re: Myron Bunzgrabber – Oh, I'm wounded to the core. Have a pleasant week, Sir.
Re: _Alice_ –
I've been trying =) It gets me so worked up!
Re: vnvme1 –
Your post is kind of disingenuous since as a percent to total of the population, the welfare percentages would be very different.
The US is comprised of roughly 74% White, 13.5 % Black.
So, using your figures one could construe that one group is getting more than their fair share.
Just sayin'. Let's be honest with the facts.
THIS BITCH WILL SINK FASTER THEN THE TITANIC AND WILL TAKE EERY REPUBLICAN RIGHT ALONG WITH HER!
She lives in the wilderness why would she not want a gun, good for her!!!!
STOP CENSORING ME you flabby man-child. What's your problem? I've lost all respect for you Perez. You are such a Castro.
Re: Leona$ Gho$t – WHAT'S UP, HAVEN'T BEEN ON IN AWHILE! HOPE ALL IS WELL!
Re: McFalin08 Bushes friends!
Under the terms of his employment contract, Daniel H. Mudd, the departing head of Fannie Mae, stands to collect $9.3 million in severance pay, retirement benefits and deferred compensation, provided his dismissal is deemed to be “without cause,” according to an analysis by the consulting firm James F. Reda & Associates. Mr. Mudd has already taken home $12.4 million in cash compensation and stock option gains since becoming chief executive in 2004, according to an analysis by Equilar, an executive pay research firm.
Richard F. Syron, the departing chief executive of Freddie Mac, could receive an exit package of at least $14.1 million, largely because of a clause added to his employment contract in November of last year as his company’s troubles deepened. He has taken home $17.1 million in pay and stock option gains since becoming chief executive in 2003.
Re: SweetMelissa1224 – So am I bitch, but I'm not running a country. You cannot parent and run a country…there is no way in hell that this woman will ever be an effective parent when McCain drops dead from the stress of the job and she has to take over. You tell me how much bonding time she'll have with her special needs child, when McCain says "I need you in my office now." He's not going to stand for "I'm nursing my child" and frankly, neither would I. Your job, my job and the jobs of millions of working mothers are not like hers will be and shame on her for putting her family second. Her kids will suffer…hell, they already have.
it's sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo extremely funny to me that we have such bleeding heart liberals in our OWN country that WILL GO as far as to advocate for Islam. I freaking love it. For Islam?! Ohhh it's not so bad right? I seriously think they have forgotten in whose name it was our country was attacked. "Land of the free, home the brave." words to DIE for. Islam couldn't hate a slogan any worse than that one. They commit mass murders all over their part of the world towards any "free thinkers" out there that don't want to convert. They would love nothing more than to take over the nation that claims "one nation, under God with liberty and justice for all." oh and just a reminder to the ignorant that's "JEHOVAH, GOD" Not "ALLAH" our forefathers were referring to.
Good! Maybe she will shoot all the stupid liberal communist democrats!

Re: Melissa is always right – Exactly! once again they are hypocrites! It just makes me mad. I am a hard working mother who happens to be a single mother - but my priorities are MY SON and nothing will ever top him..no career, no guy, nothing. It upsets be about hte double standard. Women are viewed as not loving their children - not being a priority, etc. yet it's ok for men bc that's the standard, right? Please!
Re: vnvme1 – Post 239
Whites make up 68% of the population. Blacks are 12%. 1.6% of the US population is on welfare. This puts 5% of blacks on welfare and a meager 1/10th of 1% of whites on welfare. This means that blacks are 50 times more likely to be on welfare than whites. Numbers are just numbers until you break them down. So, your point was????
Re: Alliestp – Even if you're right, that you can't be a good mom and run the country at the same time, who cares if she's a good mom? Are we interrogating Obama about whether he can be still be a good dad if he wins? Do you not see how completely sexist your attitude is?
Re: Alliestp – You are right, that is the one thing I do not agree with Palin, as a mom of a baby myself it is tough, I guess she will be campaigning with her baby in a baby bjorn? You know honestly unless it is on a cover of a magazine I have not seen her carry her child, I have seen everyone else carry her baby but, not her, she has her priorities wacked and she will have her other girls have babies young too if she is not there to guide them!
Re: Melissa is always right – If Obama were to die in office….Michelle wouldn't run the country….Biden will. You cannot compare the two.
Where did Perez get the impression that his political opinion actually has any relevancy? It's frightening that someone like Nobama has actually made it onto the actual ticket and that uneducated uninformed people are actually going to vote for him.
Obama is lost without a teleprompter. Unless a breathalyzer is a form of asthma treatment that I just haven't heard of.
Oh, and instead of drilling so we don't have to be dependent on foreign oil, Obama thinks we need to just inflate our tires a little more…
Do you really think a man who voted "present" well over a hundred times in the Senate can actually stick to his convictions and run a country?
And if McCain was friends with a known terrorist, you can bet he wouldn't have gotten this far, but the liberally biased media decided to let it slide in Obamas case.
Sickening..
Re: Alliestp – Then what about Obama and his little girls?? What about the parenting there? What about the parenting of Michelle since she is a career mom. NOTHING wroing with being a working mom - I am and sounds like you are too. But you can't judge her parenting skills and not do the same for the Obama's.
Re: Smirks – Not my figures hun just posting the facts do your research..google it it's all there.
Re: sweetpiece – I don't see how this anything to do with McCain or Palin. Every president has loaded Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac with his cronies. Bill Clinton did it too by putting Jamie Gorelick and Jack Quinn (who was also Marc Rich's lawyer) on the Board. And Clinton appointed his pal Franklin Raines to be CEO. Raines made more than $4 million and had almost $6 million in unexercised stock options in his first year there. Both parties are responsible for this mess, but only McCain has a plan to fix it. Read today's WSJ op-ed.
Re: Sammy – I can tell you that I've seen Palin w/ her child many many times, both in Alaska and on the national scene. It's so irritating to read posts that decry her ability to be a good mother, wife & politician. When these issues are brought up for fathers who run for office, maybe then they will be worth investigating. Until that time, they are non-issues.
Re: boiledchimp – #273
I agree with you! Both Squirrel and Melissa always have thoughtful points to make. I also appreciate Arrora, Charmer, Minx, and Alice. Sometimes even State ziti except when he's making racist jokes.
Re: SweetMelissa1224 – Again, Michelle will not be running the country if Obama dies. A mother is the binder that molds their children. Fathers are important, but don't do half the work a mother does in raising, influencing and developing their children. It's mothers. Palin is not putting her children first. If she was, she never would have accepted this position. The responsibilities are far too much to devote the time that her young children will need, especially her infant. I also question the motivation to drag Bristol's child's father into the frey by bringing him to the convention. I question her need to bash Obama during her acceptance speech rather than discuss how she will change the country and the needs of many working mothers or impact my life. Her motivations are all wrong and I don't trust her agenda or her. My job allows for me to put my girls first if necessary. Hers won't.
Re: vnvme1 – Read post 275… Squirrel did the math for you.
wow, lame picture. OBAMA
Re: Smirks – Post 284
I've had plenty more to say but Perez keeps blocking me. He's block at least 5 of my best posts. I've tried posting them numerous times on several threads and he ALWAYS blocks them. What a tool and a shill.
oh please - you're much more likely to get shot by some dancing rapping thug monkey.
This is my kind of women. Tough and feminine. The more I learn about her the more I like her. Remember Hillary claimed she was a hunter, but she would never have posed with a gun. Too not PC. That's what's so great about this women. She is what she is and not afraid to show it. You go Governor Palin. Looking forward to seeing more of you the next 4 years and then Pres in 2012!
Re: Smirks – And WE appreciate you too, Smirks!!
Re: McPalin08 – It's not sexist….it's realistic. Mother's are the main influence in our children's lives….Proven fact. I don't trust her ability to lead should McCain die in office. And I don't believe on pawing children off to nannys and au pairs because your need to work means more than parenting and you can afford it. I have had to work, and raise my kids, but my job is simple compared to what hers will be. From a mother's perspective, I care more about her neglecting her children and wouldn't vote for any woman who has young children that is running for office. Theres too much to loose, and too much at stake on either side if you aren't 100% committed to both and that would be impossible given her job responsibility.
Re: SweetMelissa1224 – #274 - I am in the same situation - literally, exactly! - as you. My son always comes first. I fear what his future could become . . . . All the Libs cry that George W. Bush lied, young men and women died and we should be worried about getting "4 more years of the same". I truly respect the sacrifices that our military and their families made in the name of freedom. Ultimately, our Government's main duty is to protect us; and to uphold the Constitution of the United States, not change it! I want to feel confident that the man in office believes that wholeheartedly and is willing to protect this great nation by any means necessary. Nothing that Barack Obama has said or done proves to me that he is that man. He can talk change all he wants, bottom line is, the President is responsible for our national safety. There is no changing that fact. I don't feel he is anywhere close to being up to that task.

Re: Alliestp – Thanks for pointing out the obvious to me. I do understand fully who is running on each side. We are talking about parenting and the hypocritical way Liberals are dissecting Sarah's parenting, that she shouldn't be working but taking care of the kids. I say FOUL, same goes for Michelle and her career if that is the case. Keep up!
Re: Alliestp – POST 292
They have a dad. Why can't he stay home and raise the kids? Two of the kids are adults. One is 13, is 7 and one is a newborn. Doesn't sound impossible to me. If the tables were turned and Republicans were making these claims about a Democrat, we would be shouted at from all corners. This is the 21st century. I thought we fought these battles in the last century. You are attempting to set women back 50 years with this type of comment.
Re: Alliestp – Your view may or may not be realistic - but it definitely is sexist. Wow, I really thought these days were behind us. So much for women doctors, women lawyers, women astronauts… Oh wait, women can be those things as long as they abort their unborn children. And it's OBAMA who's the candidate for change? Sounds like a continuation of the same. No thanks.
Well you know they need the redneck vote, they depend on it.
Re: Smirks – post 284- Awww, that's nice. Open minds are a wonderful thing!
Re: boiledchimp – Re: Smirks – Awww, thanks for the kind words guys
What a change from what is normally said about Conservative posters on this site. I think you, Squirrel, Sweet Melissa, Arrora, Charmer, Minx, Alice, and all the others who are able to post thoughtful and educated points without sinking to the sewer and throwing out insults are all great too!
Re: Leona$ Gho$t –
Really? Calling Palin's baby the "retarded one"? You are hateful and beyond ignorant.
Why didn't Obama choose Hillary? The most credible explanation came from veteran columnist Robert Novak May 10, who reports that Michelle Obama vetoed Hillary's candidacy. "The Democratic front-runner's wife did not comment on other rival candidates for the party's nomination, but she has been sniping at Clinton since last summer. According to Obama sources, those public utterances do not reveal the extent of her hostility," Novak wrote. If that is true, then Obama succumbed to one of his greatest character weakness. His peculiar dependency on an assertive and often rancorous spouse made him vulnerable, and one can only conclude that Obama "will destroy himself before he destroys the country".
Re: Melissa is always right – Whatever. Don't call me a liberal just because I don't agree with you. I'd rather be open minded and open to change, than someone who refuses to admit when someone else has a valid point. But then again, I'm an independent voter…you know, one of those that the McCain camp is trying to win over? I would have voted to Hilary had she won the nomination, but instead Barak has my vote…Why, because the last thing this country needs is another 4 years of Republicans running this country.
Palin will not be an effective leader and her children will suffer.
ARE YOU FREAKIN KIDDING ME!!!!
.
WHAT A TABLOID JOKE NEWSWEEK HAS TURNED OUT TO BE!!!
.
WHY NOT SHOW HER CELLULITE?!?!?
.
THAT PICTURE IS OBVIOUSLY OLD AND A DELIBERATE SAD SICK ATTEMPT TO MAKE HER LOOK BAD!!

ALL THE COVERS AND COMMENTS ABOUT MILITANT MICHELLE OBAMA BEING THE NEW JACKIE-O COMPLETE WITH PEARLS! AND **THIS** IS WHAT THEY CHOOSE TO PUT ON THE COVER FOR SARAH PALIN?!?!?
.
ALSO - CAN WE PLEASE STOP GOING ALL RACIST?!?! CAN WE DISCUSS OBAMA'S LACK OF MERIT AND NOT HIS BLACKNESS?!?
.
I'M TIRED OF BEING BULLIED BY LIBERALS WHO WANT TO *EMBARASS* PEOPLE INTO VOTING FOR OBAMA BECAUSE HE'S BLACK! CALLING THEM RACIST IF THEY DON'T LIKE HIM!! HE'S A DO NOTHING LEFTY WEASEL!! NONE OF THOSE THINGS HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH HIM BEING BLACK!
.
PLEASE ALSO STOP WITH THE RHETORIC ABOUT HOW BAD IT IS FOR BLACK PEOPLE IN THIS COUNTRY AND OVERSEAS!! THAT IS NOT A GOOD ENOUGH REASON TO VOTE FOR AN UNQUALIFIED CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT!!!
I try not to stoop to arguing and name calling. I also refuse to engage with idiots (Ms Sugar Tits). My only hope is that I can change some peoples minds about the Messiah. Probably an impossible notion on this site. I also hope I can somehow convince our host he is wrong about Obama. Although you guys don't get to read the ones that get blocked, I know someone on the other end (hopefully Perez) is. Keep up the good fight.
Re: Charmer – I agree it is a double standard, but I would of thought like you before I had my baby, I have a nanny, my mom helps with my daughter and my husband has a different work shift to assist with our daughter and still she will not sleep till mommy is there, she feels bad she needs mom to hold her, yes dads do alot but, even us as adults we can look back and 90% of us when we barfed or had a tummy ache it was mom who made it better. Times are changing but, moms are moms forever and that will not change.
Re: SquirrelLives – #303 - lol Squirrel, so does that mean if Barry does indeed win the election, the old jokes from the 90's - "the President lives in the White House, and her husband does too" or "President Obama, and her husband" - will resurface? lol
Re: SquirrelLives – We aren't talking about dad. We are talking about her running the country and who will suffer for it. You cannot compare the every day job that you and I have, and what she will be doing. I believe always that family comes first (Family values - a core belief of the Republican party). Mothers are the heart of the family and the glue. She won't be. Her children will suffer because she won't be there when they need her. It's easy to take my remarks and say I'm setting women back. If that's how you feel, fine. But maybe we need a little more of yesterday and the values, morals and ideals of yesterday. Maybe then, we wouldn't have pregnant teens, teenage suicides, disrespect and an increase in crimes committeed by teens because the trials and stress of teens are too much for young minds to handle. The last 8 years are the reason I had to go to work rather than be home with my children.
Adults are way too interested in themselves and not focusing on their children. Our children are a mess today and we, their parents, are the first that should be blamed. Sarah Palin has an agenda….and her children aren't it.

"It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians not on religions, but on the gospel of Jesus Christ! For this very reason, peoples of other faiths have been afforded asylum, prosperity, and freedom of worship here." - Speech to the Virginia House of Burgesses, May, 1765
