This is the same guy who flipped off Big Thighs Clinton during a debate while faking scratching his head. He actually flipped off Madame DeFarge. Real nice there Hussein Obama.
He wasn't calling her a pig. "You can put lipstick on a pig…" is a widely used phrase, and has been for decades. It's unfortunate that his comment came so close to her pitbull/lipstick comment at the RNC, but Obama is a smart man, and he wouldn't call an opponent a pig– he's not on Jerry Springer. She may be a liar, but he wouldn't take such a low blow. Unfortunately, the majority of Americans will take anything Fox news tells them and regurgitate it as fact. It's disgusting and discouraging and counter productive for those of us seeking real change for this country. I'm not Pro-Obama, per se, but I'm certainly anti-McCain/Palin. Palin's "joke" about hockey moms and pitbulls wasn't even funny to begin with.

It'll be interesting to see how Palin will handle the Fed's lack of funding for the IDEA — Individual's with Disabilities Education Act. It's NEVER received the mandated funding required to educate special needs kids in the public school system, so Special Ed. has had to infringe on General Ed funds since 1987. Of course, she may not care as her son, Trig is still only an infant — but special needs kids, especially those with Down Syndrome, begin public school supported programs in infancy (that is if the parents are tuned in).
