It's pretty funny that everyone wants to act like McCain is going to fall apart and die if he becomes president. I'm not siding with anyone here, but my dad happens to be exactly the same age as McCain and he is in great physical and mental health. I realize not everyone is fortunate to be that way at age 72, but that doesn't mean the majority are on their death beds. I'm sure if McCain felt like he was too old to handle this, he wouldn't be running. So I think that it is just too easy to try to target Palin and criticize her ability to be the next president and this and that. Let's not jump so far ahead. Stop using that as your only form of argument and decide who is the better candidate for president NOW. Obama or McCain?

Why oh why are we comparing Palin to Obama? Let's compare Obama with McCain. Let's put Palin up against Biden. Neither Palin nor Obama have as much experience as McCain or Biden. The difference is that McCain is running for President, Biden is running for VP. Apples and oranges. McCain isn't on his death bed. I'm willing to chance he'll make at least 4 years without a problem.
Why don't they allow her to do the talk show circuit, interviews or a press conference. They know who she is and are afraid to allow her to speak off a telepromter. They know what damage she will do, if we hear her talk off the script.
The GOP knows who she is and doesn't want the American public to know what they know.

The first time Matt Damon publicly endorsed Barack Obama was in December of 2006, before Obama announced his candidacy. Obama was sworn into office in January of 2005. According to my math (please correct me if I'm wrong), that is also LESS than two years. Obama is running for PRESIDENT - Palin is running for VICE PRESIDENT - which one should we be concerned about having more experience? Not to mention that saying that if abortion was illegal that women would automatically break the law?!! I FIND THAT INSULTING TO WOMEN!! Besides with all of the money spent on Sex education and the FREE BIRTH CONTROL HANDED OUT IN SCHOOLS why is there even a need for ABORTION?! HHMMM?!! Are teenagers and young women really that stupid? If you can't practice self-control then you should at least have the decency to use birth control! Oh that's right! You can teach them about birth control and even give it to them for FREE! But you can't make them use it! After all some girls still want to have a baby to trap a guy into marriage or a life long relationship and too many guys who still find wearing a condom "too uncomfortable" or "too much trouble" to wear one every time. Funny USA TODAY ran an article that stated that no matter how much or how little other countries spent on sex education they still had a much lower rate of teenage pregnancies!

So what if he was a Muslim anyway? Not all Muslims are bad people, and the majority of Western Muslims are, in fact, either the same as most moderate Christians in their approach to politics vs. personal religion OR are better. I'd rather see a moderate Muslim in office, who keeps his religion quiet, than a fundamentalist Christian who shouts it from the rooftops and seeks to apply all their religious dogma to modern politics.
