FORWARD NOT BACKWARD!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
BARACK'S GONNA ROCK OUT WITH HIS COCK OUT IN '09!!!
Re: LatinDaddy – Amy Holmes is also an intelligent, black, female conservative commentator.
correct me if I am wrong but what "support" is he giving Obama? Last I heard, Gordon can't vote over here. Who cares what he thinks.
Re: State ziti – your comments are repulsive and immature.
Re: Smirks – I agree. But how can we defend ourselves with our military stretched so thin? I worry about our missile "defense system" being placed in Poland. Why are we provoking Russia? Don't poke the bear! Russia has already said that Poland will suffer the consequences. If something happens, who will help Poland? Who will help us? Our military is screwed right now. And the world knows it. We are vulnerable right now.
Re: LatinDaddy – isn't the presidential inaugeration in January? the election is in November.
Re: buck – naw, they just take certain people polls. that doesn't speak for everybody, but if tell yourself that, will make u feel better, then OK.Re: RashManly – and Mccain, said the same thing about Hillary. If you are going to make a point. make the entire point, not just tibits
WHO CARES???????? This limey can't vote. McCain/Palin to take the White House…just say NObama
Re: Renee26 – Always peace over war!
Re: State ziti – although I do agree, McCain 08!
Re: Blackacid Betty – Amen!
So he got an endorsement from an unpoplular prime minsiter?
Re: xXTOMXx – right!?? just wait until the debates. and why is it that mcan't can't let go of sarah's bra straps? and why is it that she can't campaign alone?
Former GOP senator calls Palin a 'cocky wacko'
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) " Former Rhode Island Republican Sen. Lincoln Chafee has called vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin a "cocky wacko" and said her selection as John McCain's running mate has energized supporters of Democrat Barack Obama.
Re: RashManly – You are soo stupid. Please, even some of the first woman rights activist don't like Sarah, so what the hell does that say? … and are you that superficial, those quotes are not even directed towards women. Not to mention that Mccain ALSO used the pig with lipstick quote before.
Re: _Alice_ – we care what they think
but we do what we want
Re: xXTOMXx –
McCain doesn't support Bush 100%. The figure is 90% (most of those pro forma votes) and the 10% where they differ are on issues that concern us all the most. If there were a viable multi-party political system in America, McCain wouldn't even be a republican.
-
Contrast that with Obama's 97% adherence to doctrine when he even bothers to vote other than "present".
-
Who is the real agent of change here? Who would be more willing to work in the bi-partisan manner that America deserves. Wake up!!!!
I'm just happy to know that 99% of the people on this website, especially the ones who support Obama NEVER vote. That is why you WILL lose the election. It is quite fun watching Obama's campaign imploding.
Re: _Alice_ – there would be no USA if our forefathers had stuck to your doctrine…………..you are naive
Re: robster – Don't worry most of the people making many of these comments are not even registered to vote or when November comes they will not know where to go vote or will they want to stand in line, it happens every election.
If you are going to report on political news, which is really above your paygrade at least get the facts straight: Brown's Downing Street office denied Wednesday that the article amounted to an endorsement of Obama.
"The prime minister is not endorsing a candidate, and never would," a spokesman said on condition of anonymity in line with policy.
ofcourse you and the elite leftist media just want to spin, spin, spin, who cares about the facts

Re: mamajud – I'm sorry you feel that way. Just my opinion.
Re: State ziti – As a true immigrant you should not be making fun of any race!!! Your ancestors where some of the ones that dealt with most of the racism in the past!!!
LatinDaddy, Obama(nor McCain) will be President in two months. The inauguration takes place Jan 20. The election is in November. Check your facts and do your research before you blindly vote Obama.
Re: Blackacid Betty – I've been all over the world, and I have NEVER been ashamed to be an American, sounds like you have issues or hate your country, maybe you and Madge should hang!
Re: Ms. Sugar Walls – Ah! hey loser. read before you post. Lincoln Chaffey is known as a RINO. A Republican in Name Only. He is not a GOP person just uses that party to get elected. He is true liberal democrat. Read honey before you post stupid stuff.
This just proves that most of you aren't following the election except on Perez. If you were, you would know this is 2 day old news. It wasn't even an endorsement, just supportive of certain policies.
This is not in support of either candidate, but it really makes me want to throw tea in the harbor.
Re: sweetpiece – its very true….reminds me of the Iranian hostage crises under Carter….the day Reagan was sworn in the Iranians sent our people back home. I think the whole middle east wanted Carter to win the election in 1980 too.
Re: RashManly – You seriously think that all women are gullible idiots. We all know that John McCain made the SAME comment a few months ago in reference to Hillary and her health care plan.
Why would I vote for the GOP which has a long history of sexist policies?!!!!! And even Palin is anti-feminist.
You are a feeble minded idiot. Please shut it!
Even our allies know that we only have one choice this time.
No one wants another pack of liars in the White House again. Enough
Go Obama/Biden==the loyal, honorable Americans
McPain/Porkaholic==more nationalization, failed Bush policies
I like Barack Obama as a person,
he seems like a nice guy and I don't think
he is a phony, but I disagree with
his politics.
The great majority of these attacks on
Sarah Palin are not from Barack at all,
they are from his rabid supporters in
the Democratic party who resort to
name calling and scandal mongering
when they can not win with
issues and ideas.
The Democratic party has sent thirty
lawyers and private detectives to
Alaska trying to dig up dirt and scandals
on Sarah Palin,
this housewife and mother is
that much of a threat to their party.
Re: RashManly –
Wow you are an effing idiot. I'm sad that we have to deal with brainless zombies like you here. You are exactly the type of person that the Rethugs appeal to, people who can adopt their simple lies and repeat them like parrots. They don't respect you. They know they're dealing with idiots who won't even dip their toe in past the surface. But they don't care, because people like you help them get their corrupt, greedy asses in office.
And by the way, it's "You Can Wrap An Old Fish In A Piece Of Paper Called Change, It's Still Gonna Stink After Eight Years." Exact quote
Palin is the lipstick, McCain's policies are the pig, bitch!
i cant believe mccain has so many supporters…srsly americas so dumb xD
Re: Ms. Sugar Walls –
What are you going to do when Biden is thrown off the ticket?
American's elect their presidents and the world has to deal with their foreign policies. Talk to people in Iraq, Afghanistan, Japan, Korea Russia, France, Germany, Eastern Europe, China, IndoChina, Vietnam, Columbia etc who haven't been directly affected by American policies or bombs over the last 50 years.
The rest of the world has to deal with the garbage Republican leaders that many ignorant redneck Americans favour and elect. So don't act as if people from around the world should have nothing to say about this election.
Re: Smirks – No, idiot, opps….No dear, I never said she wrote it. She read it but she has to take responsibility for the content doesn't she? Her script for the convention was written by Mathew Scully.
Re: njpaul0129 –
We all know Ms. Sugar Walls is a paid shill for the DNC so don't expect her to read anything and don't expect any of her posts to be factual.
Re: RashManly –
Ok, well saying all that don't even keep this lipstick/pig thing going any longer. If you truly believe that, you're a fucking 'tard–even little miss Republican Elizabeth Hasselbeck said it had NOTHING to do with Palin, it's a cheap trick and a distraction. Palin's a prop…as are those glasses on her face. Contact lenses anyone? Is she just trying to look brainier than she truly is?
I digress. Palin is only a threat because she attracts the most idiotic voters, the ones who vote based on "likeability" not policy. That's nothing to be proud of in a candidate.
Re: Smirks – I didn't say that McCain is supporting Bush. I said that Bush is supporting McCain 100%!
I probably left out a word.
Re: audacity of crap – but don't you think a lot of people would benefit from this?
it's kind of fitting. most of the british people hate gordon brown.
this isn't a world election. other countries should stand the fuck down and let the americans worry about the american election.
Re: YepIsaidit – Another Amen!
Re: RashManly – Have you fooled yourself into thinking that Republicans and their supporters are not doing the same. Trying to dig up dirt on Obama. What about that farce with Rev. Wright, a non issue that first came to light on Fox News? The right is adept at digging dirt and slinging mud.
We don't know anything about Palin, that isn't carefully controlled by her PR team. Reporters trying to find out about her is not a liberal media conspiracy.
Even other country's agree that we need a change, not more of the same. The world HATES Bush and his white good ol' boys, except for the token black women….BRAINS before brawn!!!!
Re: State ziti –
Damn, they have internet down in the Ozarks? Why don't you polish off your moonshine, eat your possum stew, and get back to your Klan meeting dickwad.
Re: secondcoming – Yes we do…
Re: sweetpiece –
Oooh! Namecalling… nice! Yes, she should take responsibility for what's in her speeches. Too bad what she said was true… small towns do grow good people. Regardless of who originally said it, it doesn't invalidate the sentiment.
-
Oh… and it's "oops", not "opps". So next time you say "idiot", do it in front of a mirror.
Re: Smirks – Oh, "so the Republicans have decided to run against themselves. The bums have tiptoed out the back door and circled around to the front and started yelling, 'Throw the bums out!'" (Garrison Keillor) But it's the same bums! When Russia occupied South Ossetia, McSame's first reaction was *so* Bush, instead of bothering to get the facts straight (for instance, that Georgia was bombing its own citizens) he started hollering about Russian aggression and demanding a "united Western front." And shockingly, since the Rebumicans have alienated all of our allies by…um…aggressively occupying a foreign country, none responded. And while you liars say Obama wouldn't do jack shit, here in reality world, Bush didn't do jack shit. Open your eyes, people! Without friends, the USA can't do anything. Which is why Putin's making us look like fools to the rest of the world, sending bombers to Hugo Chavez, while we debate our fucking Presidency based on who eats arugula and who hunts moose and who puts lipstick on pigs. GROW UP! Now! This is not a test!
.
And Cherry Bomb, the poison gases used to kill the Kurds were supplied to Saddam by the Reagan administration (and West Germany). Read "War of Nerves" by Jonathan Tucker and maybe next time you won't sound like such a fucking dumbass.
Ha, Gordon Brown? Check this out as to how well he is liked in Britain:
A BPIX survey for the Mail on Sunday suggested the Conservatives are on course for a landslide election victory, leading Labour by 49 per cent to 26 per cent with the LibDems on 14 per cent.
His (Brown's) standing is so low that most people have written off his chances of winning the Election and 44 per cent say he should resign now.
Yeah, so one loser supports another.
Re: buck – What the fuck are you talking about. My point was to think for yourself. Not what your parents tell you. Little boy!
Re: Uker – Except the majority of AMERICANS, chech out realclearpolitics.com and see the poll numbers from all over the USA
Re: Smirks – So you are an anti-Semite too? Figures.
AWESOME!! Now, tell me again, how many electoral votes do citizens of the UK get? Or, better yet, how many popular votes do they get? Who gives two fucks what Gordon Brown wants. You know who else OPENLY supports Obamarx for president?
Kim Jong Il and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
good. im moving to canada if mccain/palin win, that will be the end of this country.
According to Vera, our children would be much better citizens if they were taught Palin's brand of fundamental Christianity.
Presumably, Vera, you're talking about her banning sex education in the classroom while encouraging creationism, which preaches that everything in the Old Testament really happened.
If so, I can see your point. Right now we could tell them that the way to beat these awful floods is to build a big ark, enter it two-by-two and sail away to Jesus.
Even if the two-by-two intimacy might result in every naive girl being up the duff before the ark had reached the Isle of Man.
AND THAT"S WHAT THE UK REALLY THINKS OF SARA PALIN!
Re: Ms. McGillicutty – Bitch please……don't act like America always minds its own bussiness cause they don't!!
Re: friendlyskies –
You make some good points, and the Garrison Keillor quote is not without a grain of truth. But, you mistake my personal philosophy if you believe I think America should be the world police and interfere everywhere. I only expect my federal government to keep itself safe from those who would do it harm and to allow me to pursue happiness in my own way. I don't expect it to take care of me or any other country. That's not what it was designed to do in the first place.
Thank God there's a voice of reason amongst the creationist/ignorant masses furor.
Re: buck – Because 54% of our country never went to college. This is why we need education reform. I'm not angry though–you can't blame people for being stupid. Wait, yes you can.
Re: sweetpiece –
Believing that small towns grow good people does not make me an anti-Semite. Your logic is specious.
Re: State ziti – serpents like you disgust me.
Re: RashManly – "You can put lipstick on a pig -
it's still a pig." Exact quote from McCain LAST YEAR about Hillary Clinton. Crap, I hope ignorance isn't catching simply by typing this to you.
Re: sweetpiece – you don't have any idea who my parents are or how they stand politically. Just for reference they have both been dead for over 20 years.
Re: State ziti – 165. Ew! First off, your picture is idiotic. Do you even know a real-live black person? Are you parents cousins? Second, this country is certainly not full of "rednecks." Maybe down south or in… Alaska… but you should try to think a LITTLE outside of your bubble. That's really the problem with many Americans, cannot stand the fact that there are people who live elsewhere who do not agree with your opinions.
Re: Luella – Yo Luella, next in line is a possible VP who believes that dinosaurs roamed the earth 4,000 years ago and tried to ban books. She's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay worse than Bush and since McCain will probably die within his first term, we'll have a creationist hockey mom in the white house with the nuclear codes. It's scary shit, that's why!
Re: brutalbarb666 – and your heathcare in Canada will be paid through your taxes, perfect for you….don't let the gates hit you on the butt! and call Susan Sarandon, maybe you can look for a house together! LOL
Re: brutalbarb666 – Like I keep saying vote for Mccain alot of people are saying they will move away if they win and that means more jobs will be available for everyone!!!!!
Re: Bronte34 –
My name is Bronte34 and I can quote Matt Damon!
No surprise he supports Obama. Just like there was no surprise in the recent polls showing most of Europe, and the rest of the world for that matter, prefer Obama. Another point to consider, most Europeans want to see a weaker America. This would lead us to one conclusion. They want Obama because they think he will make America weaker. Yet another reason to ignore these polls and not be worried about what the rest of the world thinks. They don't have our best interest in mind, they are looking out for themselves, just as we should. Obama is weak - they know it - so they favor him.
Re: kendoll3000 – Post 177
I like how everyone thinks Canadians get FREE health care. They pay for it just like we do. The difference is - we get choices, they don't.
Re: Smirks – post 179- Well, I'm fucking Matt Damon…
Re: Bronte34 – better than a president (Obama) who would convene a focus group to make his decisions in an emergency.
Re: State ziti – Post 165
Weak liberal pussies - I love it…………..
Re: State ziti –
Oh, so you're not a redneck. Just another guido in a track suit.
Re: _Alice_ – i wasn't trying to insult you……..In a perfect world, I agree with you……..unfortunately….reality bites…..peace out
Re: _Alice_ –
^ jealous. He's looking kinda hot these days.
Re: Smirks – I agree that small towns are wonderful and nothing can replace having a great community to support our families. I believe in community service and stepping up, helping where needed and volunteering as much as possible.
I do all of the above. And work full time and raise a family.
My point was that Sarah Paline quoted a known anti-Semite. She should be held accountable.
And to Buck, I was using you as a metaphor and not trying to take any personal attacks on your parents. May they RIP.
There was a great article at Real Clear Politics in Monday's evening edition titled Canadian Consensus by David Warren of the Ottawa Citizen on how he was basically jealous of the edginess of our elections here. Something lacking in their politics. After reading it I got the feeling I just had a glimpse of what America would be like after 8 years of Obama.
Re: SquirrelLives – Hi Squirrel, just another day, I wouldn't be here except I broke two fingers last week, so I'm home for 6 weeks….I love this crap and ordered McCain/Palin stickers, ’cause I'm energized….especially since Palin was added to the ticket. Things are getting better every day, and I have complete confidence in the debates…I've followed politics since i was a kid in 1976, and I see a Mc Cain/Palin win, just check out the electoral maps on realclearpolitics.com
Re: Bronte34 – good god! so out of the billions of people in the states you cant find one competent person between the lot of you to run the country? thanks for explaining to me!! so basically your countries going to be run by either a braindead soccer mom, or a dead guy??? things are looking up for you guys!!!
Re: State ziti – please change your icon! or at least don't go spouting off your support for McCain with that photo branding your opinion. you are what is wrong with the republican base (likewise with anyone displaying shameless propaganda with the preachy far left base). I am supporting McCain, but I hope you realize you are only tarnishing opinions of the reasoned conservative supporters!
Re: SquirrelLives – Just because you 'think' that Europe wants to see America weak doesn't mean that the whole world wants that too! I hope that McCain wins and screws up everything! It seemed that after 8 years of the same shit, America still hasn't learned anything!
Re: mamajud – No worries mamajud. All is good.
CHANGE is what is required. Since the GOP won't provide it, gonna have to go with Obama. Republican philosophy does not hold up historically. Check out every disgrace our country has endured and there will almost always be a republican behind it. But if you want to go to the moon, ask a democrat! (If you want to BLOW UP a shuttle, elect a republican so they can cut back on funding.)
Re: audacity of crap – GUESS YOUR A RICH FUCKER CAUSE OBAMA WILL RAISE TAXES BUT IN THE LONG RUN IT WILL HELP THE MIDDLE CLASS AND AFFECT THE RICH. PEOPLE WHO MAKE OVER 40,000 WILL BE AFFECTED. PEOPLE LIKE MYSELF A COLLEGE STUDENT MAKING BARELY ANYTHING WILL BE SLIGHTLY RELIEVED.
WITH MCCAIN WE WILL ONLY GET IN MORE DEBT BECAUSE HIS PLAN CONTINUES TO FOLLOW BUSH'S TAX CUT PLAN. TAX RELIEF FOR THE RICH? 1+1 DOES NOT EQUAL 3.
Re: State ziti –
Post 186
Well I do know Christian fundamentalist that supposr Creationism accept the Biblical age of the earth to be 6000 yrs old and that's it. So I think when juxtaposed to the notion that dinosaurs walked the earth for millions of years before Christ contradicts creationist theory as fundamentalists understand it. I think the scopes monkey trial Kind of touches on this as well, don't hold me to it.
You are also correct that Palin never banned any SPECIFIC books but she did ask a/b the process of banning books and the Librarian Mary Ellen Baker was taken aback on that issue. Later on she was fired then local outcry reinstated her and later Baker quit so the "facts" go, but this is besides the point. I just think that the media frenzy and the printing of every and anything is because we the public have 8 very short weeks to familiarize ourselves with the woman.
I want Obama to explain how he can be about cutting out government waste when he's taken $740 million in earmarks for his state. 3/4's of a billion dollars. The Council for Citizens Against Government Waste gives him a score of 10% for last year and 18% lifetime. His running mate gets a score of 0% last year and 22% lifetime. Higher scores mean stronger resistance to federal earmarks. John McCain's score last year - 100% and 88% lifetime making him a hero to taxpayers.
Re: RashManly – OMG STOP IT. ENOUGH ALREADY YOU KNOW PERFECTLY WELL HE WAS NOT TALKING ABOUT PALIN. AND FURTHER MORE HOW COME IT WAS ALRIGHT FOR A REPUBLICAN FEMALE TO CALL HILLARY CLINTON A BITCH ON LIVE TV AND YOUR MAKING A BIG DEAL ABOUT LIPSTICK ON A PIG? GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT BUT IF YOU ARE A REPUBLICAN IGNORANCE IS BLISS FOR YOU.
Re: xXTOMXx – Post 195
Glad you want McCain to win - me too.
The internatioanal community–not just Britain–does NOT respect the U.S. right now. The only way to garner respect and get the international community on the side of the US. again is to ELECT Barack Obama. They see him as intelligent and a sign that Americans are not racist, arrogant, redneck cowboys…YES.. the world sees the U.S. this way. Barack can single-handedly destroy this image of the U.S….IF HE'S ELECTED. IT'S THE TRUTH
Re: elgin trial – OMG! Blaming Reagan for the Challenger Disaster…NOW YOU'VE REALLY GONE OVERBOARD! Desperation is your middle name, good God!
Re: RashManly –
Also exact quotes by John McCain (5 times last year), Several prominat republicans and his former press secretary whowrote a book called ….(drum roll)….Lipstick On A Pig.
You knuckle draggers will fall for anything. The Grand White Party is now a party of victimizatiom. You are playing the victim card. John McCain can call his wife a c&^%, Palin can call Barack a Pitbull, McCain can use the phase Lipstick on a pig while talking about Hillary Clinton, Hanniy and Co can call Michelle Obama a traitor, but Barack cant use a political phrase about McCain the last 8 years in Washington without you people pooping out the gender card?
Re: Smirks – Haha, yep.
Re: kendoll3000 – Post 192
Sorry about the extremities - hope it wasn't your "good hand". Some things are hard to do with the other one - lol. I love this too. I remember the 76 election, i was in the 7th grade. Being from Georgia we were all about Carter (who embarrassingly hangs on my family tree). I feel the same way as you, the energy was something I didn't think we would see this cycle. Funny how things can turn upside down over night. Real Clear Politics is my 2nd stop every morning, right after Drudge.
Re: silverphoenix – A lot of whites would rather vote a monster into office than have a black man in office. That means they will look for ANY reason not to pick Obama, ie lipstick on a pig comment.
Re: SquirrelLives – Barack's earmarks amount to $25 per person. Palin's earmarks amount to $500. I want you to explain how that makes her a reformer!
I may be only fourteen, but I'm not blind.
It's freaking obvious that not only the majority of intelligent Americans want Obama, but other countries are rooting for him as well. McCain is Bush 2.0, and his VP Palin is an unknown risk that this country cannot afford.
Go Obama! For the sake of my future, I hope you win
!
Re: kendoll3000 – Don't asume love, just read:
On 1 Feb 2003 the NASA shuttle Columbia disintegrated on re-entry into the Earth's atmosphere over the state of Texas, with the loss of all seven crew. It happened as Columbia was ending its 28th mission, STS-107. The Columbia Accident Investigation Board concluded in Aug 2003 that politics, budgets, schedule pressure and managerial complacency all played roles in causing the tragedy.
Re: xander – It's called INVESTMENT, rich people have the money to invest and enrich the ECONOMY, that's why they get a break, ANY ECONOMIST WILL TELL YOU THAT! Middle and working class taxpayers do not. I am in the middle class and I understand this, duh! Did you ever take economics? Obama's ideas are just ploys to get folks to feel jealous for the wealthy, not truly help the overall economy. Get some education!
