Sarah Palin Speaks!

Filed under: Politik > John McCain > Sarah Palin

palincharlie.jpg

Did you watch part one of Charlie Gibson's interview on ABC with Sarah Palin on Thursday night????

If you missed it, click here to see video excerpts or click here for the transcript.

We felt like we were watching a lady version of George W. Bush, only she's more eloquent and fuckable.

Like many politicians, instead of giving straight answers at times, Sexy Sarah would just jibber jabber.

In fact, at one point during the interview, Charlie Gibson said to the GOP VP pick, "I got lost in a blizzard of words there. Is that a yes?"

If the GOP somehow manages to snag the presidency, let's hope that John McCain stays well.

With Sarah in power, looks like there's a chance that 'God' could will us to go to war with Russia, Iran and Pakistani terrorists all at the same time.

you guys also have the right to know that Sarah Palin's "joy" at her daughter's pregnancy is a big, fat lie to the public.
    -
    - Their neighbors have told news agencies that Sarah Palin threw her daugher out of the house, made her change high schools, and go to live with her Aunt 25 miles away.
    -
    - She was also NOT going to admit to Bristol being pregnant before convention — until two newspapers told her family that they were going to run the story. Only THEN did she come up with her concocted lying story.

  2. 202

She did a lot of "bobbing and weaving", talking around the issues.

She looked very angry through most of the interview–her jaw was clenched nearly the whole time.

This is odd—but she was not wearing any hosiery.

Also, she cannot pronounce the word nuclear–god that makes me crazy–another Bush.

  3. 203

Re: Lä!!!SEMICOLON!!!ggNer – #176 Yes, I heard he went to visit his poor younger brother who lives in a tin hut on$1.00 a month ($12.00 dollars a year!). That, to me, is unconscionable. If he can't give his brother a little support, like double his income and give him $12 bucks, why do you think he would help out you or me? That shows what kind of man he truly is. Barack Hussein has been given so much (by Rezco the convict) and won't even throw his brother a bone. He's shameful.

  4. 204

oh, and let's give her a break…she wasn't dodging questions, right? she was just sticking to the script given to her.

  5. 205

    Re: Andy27

Hey asshole… would it surprise you to know that McBush has more ties to Islam than Obama will ever have? Skin color, right? The AntiChrist (u Redneck)? If you believe in that stuff then you'd know that the FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT being the anti-christ is HIGHLY UNLIKELY. The spirit of the Anti-Christ's coming is way more tricky - ya know, like as a goodwill Christian from Texas, a War Hero, or a Pitbull Soccer Mom from Alaska ; - )

  6. 206

She should just stfu. What does she know? Just go back to Alaska already. War with Russia… yeah, right… HAHA. They'll kick your ass.

  7. 207

Re: Intellect_Rules – yes…and heaven forbid she have to accept the role as President someday and have to debate with people like HU Jintao, Jose Eduardo DOS SANTOS, Castro, or QADHAFI….wake up…Charlie will look like her bff at that point.

  8. 208

I found a really good site that has no policitial PROPAGANDA. it's completely nonpartisian

    www.votesmart.org

  9. 209

    From the interview:
    -
Asked by Charlie Gibson whether she supported the Bush Doctrine, Palin stared blankly for a moment before turning the question back on Gibson. "In what respect?"
    -
The ABC anchor responded, "Well, what do you interpret it to be?" regarding the policy that has been in place since September 2002, before the Iraq war.
    -
"Palin couldn't say, offering an answer that didn't even mention preemption. "
    -

  10. 210

So was that a yes or a no?
i didn't get it, too many ways to interpret what she is saying.

Iran is not the only nuclear nation, i'd shit my pants for China…but than again…easier to invade some dessert nation under the excuse of 'weapons of mass destruction'..hey deja vu :)

  11. 211

    Re: gabbyNashville – Haha…good point.

  12. 212

Sarah Palin never said that a war was "God's will". She simply asked that we pray we are doing "God's will" as we are working in other countries. Claiming to know that something is Gods will and asking to pray that we are lead in the right direction, are two completely different things. Sarah is a Christian as are most of the people in this country. That doesn't mean we are all lunatics. We simply have certain beliefs and values, as I'm sure you do too. And I'm not making a joke. Everyone has some system of values, whether they're based on a god or something else. Why don't you go twist some of Obama's words. You'd get some far more controversial results.

  13. 213

Re: alexlala – This is not just to you, but to everyone on here….Andy27 is a troll who wants attention. Stop giving it to him!!

  14. 214

    Re: secondcoming
    Post 168
If it'll make you feel Better would you prefer Imminenet danger? We are ALWAYS in imminent danger. Also, what is the measuring stick for ENOUGH? What if other countries that take that stance justify ENOUGH as the US having and supporting this policy as justification to attack hmmmm???

  15. 215

    1. She didn't know what the "Bush Doctrine" even was.
    2. Her "foreign" experience is Canada and Mexico - my 14 yr old daughter has been to more "foreign lands" - Is my daughter qualified to take on Pakistan, Russia, Iran, etc…?
    3. She'll want to go to war with Russia to protect democracy in other shitty little countries that don't do crap for us - EVER!
    4. She can't answer a question with a definitive answer - what's new? Typical Republican.
    5. She said, and I quote - "ENERGY IS THE FOUNDATION OF NATIONAL SECURITY." WHAT? (This was during the conversation about how brilliant she is/was with Alaska's 'energy plan' or whatever.) So what if Alaska is responsible for 20% of all the energy…how on earth does that in itself, give a person 'National Security' experience. Again, she said "ENERGY IS THE FOUNDATION OF NATIONAL SECURITY." GIVE ME A BREAK. SHE IS CLEARLY DELUSIONAL. ONE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ANOTHER.
    6. She has NEVER even said "hello" to any other Head of State.
PLEASE PEOPLE - SHE IS NOT READY. IT IS SCAREY. SHE CANNOT RUN OUR NATION. THIS POSSIBLY HAPPENING SCARES THE HELL OUT OF ME!!! THIS "HOCKEY MOM" WILL HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO PUSH THAT RED BUTTON. PLEASE PEOPLE, EDUCATE YOURSELVES…PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE. VOTE ON WHAT YOU THINK IS BEST FOR OUT PRECIOUS NATION.

  16. 216

Hope she gets eaten by a polar bear or wolf…………..fucking animal murderer!

  17. 217

Re: DaBitchIzIndakrazihouze – #178 Did you have pancakes and syrup too this morning? Hurry Sesame Street is about to start.

  18. 218

She didn't know the answers to any of his questions. She's been sequestered from the press and she's been getting a crash course in foreign policy. He had to tell her what the Bush Doctrine was because she didn't know! I hope America is smart enough to realize who they vote for will affect their lives…..this woman said she was ready to go to war with Russia if necessary ..scary!

  19. 219

I am an expert at foreign policy as well. I once saw a photograph of Red Square. Oh yeah. I also saw Eastern Europe from a plane once. Oh yeah. And I filled up my car with gas, so my energy policy means that I am an expert on world issues, oh yeah. LMAO–I haven't laughed so hard in a while. Thank you, Sarah Palin :)

  20. 220

She should get eaten by a polar bear or a wolf! Poor animals!

  21. 221

Re: G2kr@~~~ – I wonder if you are a "fucking" baby killer? I find it so odd that most people who wine about hunting animals or eating meat will gladly spread their legs and let a suction cup rip apart their child. . . .

  22. 222

Yeah, those comments about going to war with Russia scare the beejesus out of me. How many countries must they conquer to assuage their fears? And how many more enemies will we make in the process? How can she say peace with Russia on one hand and war on the other?

  23. 223

talk about lost in the jibber jabber? look at obama. he can talk about change all day but when he gets questioned he flounders and has no idea what he's talking about. just sayin

  24. 224

    Re: friendlyskies
Very very well said, ofcourse you can't say ff-ing or morron on tv…but yes…you are very very right in what you are saying

  25. 225

Re: LordKain – What the hell does that mean? You obviously are very threatened by women.

  26. 226

    Re: Andy27

Actually, we're not a christian nation. We're a nation of many beliefs. I'm not a christian, for instance.

Re: audacity of crap – It's not a CRIME… too often it is a HANDICAP!

  29. 229

Gibson is a tool. Take away his cheat sheet and nose glasses and he's dumber than Matt Damon. Jimmy Carter & Bill Clinton had far less experience than Palin and they were presidents.

  30. 230

Re: Chantalle – "God's Will" while we are "working in other countries."???? We are not working, we are killing people. George Bush went into Iraq by lying to congress, to us, and the world. There was no imminent danger from Iraq. Bush lied. So, if that's God's will, then I want no part of it.

  32. 232

Re: jaycie – Nope, don't believe in abortion, but I absolutely hate child and animal abusers and also people who wear fur! Not that I give a shit what you think anyway!

  33. 233

Oh brother!! The fear of God line lifted directly out of the Democrat talking points email!! It's too bad that too many forget on a regular basis this country was founded on Judeo-Christian values. When a person is in office those values may guide them in life, forms their character and guides decision making, but it is not there simply to force others into that peson's religious beliefs—-unlike many liberals and liberal organizations who try to force all of America into conforming to their value systems! This is a free country and there is plenty of room for more than one way of thinking or believing!!

Personnally, I thought Charlie Gibson treated Sarah Palin with great contempt! It was as if he was an OLDER disapproving father, looking down his nose (behind his specs) at this little girl! Like….. who does she think she is running for VP. I was offended. AND not becasue I necessarily like Sarah Palim, I was offended by Charlie Gibson's lack of professionalism. I've seen PLENTY of Charlie Gibson interviews and this is the first time I saw such contempt from him. Would he speak to or posture himself like that in an interview with Barack Obama or John McCain?? Doubt it!

  34. 234

    honeybratty,
Haven't you heard? Only old ladies wear hose anymore. Take a look at Katie Couric and Oprah. No hose. Not since about 1999.

  35. 235

Re: Geminijeff – DO YOU MAKE THIS CRAP UP??? Bill CLinton was governor for over 10 years before running for President…not a mayor of a tiny town or the governor of the least populated state for a mere two years. Please check your facts before you say such things…It really is not helping your cause and you look ignorant.

  36. 236

Hey, did you hear, Fox news is reporting that Pamela Anderson does not like Governor Sarah Palin. Pam was quoted saying "she can suck it". What a women that Pam is, she's contributed so much to society. Go back to Canada where you belong and take your deformed, over-proportionate watermelons with you! Greyhound buses leave every hour so take Alec and Babs with you, you cheap piece of porn.

  37. 237

Re: boiledchimp – I said I thought it was odd—I don't wear them either— but I'm not running for Vice President either.

    That's hardly the issue here—

  38. 238

I love when she MOCKED a big resume. Oh, yeah next time I go for a surgery I will pick the Grannie from the Beverly Hill Billies over someone who graduated from Harvard. When has a big resume, hard work, education and expierence become a bad thing in America?

This woman is the example of our country lowering the bar!

  39. 239

    magentaii:
Great description of Charlie Gibson. A disapproving father or school principal. He seemed angry at her, as if she'd done something wrong and he was going to teach her a lesson. He's much different when interviewing other political figures. He'd be lighter interviewing Ahmadinejad. Very disappointing, because I like Charlie. Now I'm thinking he's just like the rest.

  42. 242

Re: boiledchimp – #234 Only professional and refined women still wear hose when the occasion "requires" it. I'd say a VP for President of the USA is just one of those appropriate occasions where hose should be worn. It does take more time to put on and they are uncomfortable, but it shows class to put them on. The ladies you referred to that don't wear hose are in a different class altogether and not because they don't wear hose. Anyway, Oprah is just too heavy with her canckles to be able to put them on. Even Joe Namath had the good sense to know when to wear them.

  43. 243

Re: friendlyskies – um… ever heard of teddy roosevelt, genius?

"speak softly and carry a big stick"
    .

  44. 244

    rockymountainmama:
I see your point on the pantyhose issue. That's fine if women want to wear them. But they give me the creeps… when I see someone in them I want to look away. I much prefer the other look, even on a political figure. But maybe that's because we don't wear them in the Mountain Time Zone anymore.

  45. 245

She is so awful and fucking annoying. She came off very bitchy when Charlie asked her a simple question about the Bush doctrine. It is really scary that people like a woman like this. If she gets elected we will probably go to 4 more wars. I just hope if that does happen you fucking republicans will actually go fight instead of sitting at home on your asses praising it.

  46. 246

Re: friendlyskies – rossevelt was a rebublican, by the way..
and a nobel peace prize winner, just for your amusement

  47. 247

She hesitated when asked whether she agreed with the Bush doctrine.
"In what respect, Charlie?” Palin asked.
"What do you interpret it to be?” Gibson asked.
    "His world view?” Palin said.
"No, the Bush doctrine, enunciated September 2002, before the Iraq War,” Gibson said.

What a dumbass. Also, President Bush said he thought she did "great" during the interview. Well, by all means… if he thought she did great….

C'mon people… do you really want this clueless person as your next VP???

  48. 248

    Direct Quote from Palin:
"Pray about that also. I think God’s will has to be done in unifying people and companies to get that gas line built, so pray for that."
Are we really suppose to use our prayers to pray for pipelines in Alaska? What about using our prayers for helping those less fortunate or ending the war in Iraq. This woman is a nut.
I love how she tried to wiggle out of her own words. She told Gibson she didn't say Iraq is God's war - it's right there on tape. Then she said Lincoln said it and she was repeating it. Lincoln NEVER said that and if she was quoting Lincoln she said have said that in her speech!
Also when asked about Global Warming. She challenges Gibson to find where she ever said that it is NOT man made. Already today they have her on tape or in print saying just that at least 7 times!
SHE IS A LIAR AND A NUT!

  54. 254

Boiled Chimp - yea he should have asked her about her recipe for moose stew or for another hockey mom joke. Shame on him for asking her about opinions on doctrines and to example her viewpoints.
He is a bad, bad boy for asking that little lady those mean and tough questions. We all wanted to know how she cooks moose stew and not her opinions on world events. Isn't that what a VP does - cook for parties and tell funny "mom" jokes to the cabinet?

  55. 255

Re: MiamiDolphinLover – You are GREAT ! I love you comments, the below especially !

  65. 265

I'm sorry, but I completely disagree with you — its a term that is regularly used in politcal settings for quite a while now.
    -
Everyone, and everyone else seems to know what it is — just not Sarah Palin.
    -
Which is really kind of hard to believe, but she is also the one that said she "did not have much time to follow the war - that she got her news from the TV." That's even more frightening.

  68. 268

Chantelle, Yes she did say Iraq was a task from God. Her is her exact quote: "Our national leaders are sending them out on a task that is from God, that's what we have to make sure that we're praying for, that there is a plan and that plan is God's plan."

Please because you are embarassed by her words, don't say she never said them. SHE DID! It's on tape.

Then she tried to back peddle and say that it is a quote from Lincoln. IT IS NOT. He never said anything like this. She is a liar and got caught. If she said it, she should say she said it and stand by it or say I no longer feel that way. Don't lie and try to tell Gibson those are not her words. THEY ARE ON VIDEO TAPE! Then don't lie and say you are quoting Lincoln. He never said that, nor when you said it did you ever say and here is a quote from Abraham Lincoln - you spoke them as YOUR words!

  69. 269

Re: bikiniwall.com – # 264 "Gibson chickened out by not asking about her slut daughter being pregnanat!" What would that have to do with her being VP? Also, are you a prepubescent boy in that bikini?

  72. 272

Mamajud - it's a common term to explain the Bush foreign policy. It's used in Washington by both Dems and Reps. Condi Rice has used the term, Cheney has used it and Bush uses it all the time. Get the facts, stop getting your news from Hannity and Hasselbeck!

I was willing to give her a chance. She's proven that she's not ready for any national office. She does not have a clue about these issues. I think Charlie was very respectful. Just think what Putin would do to her.

McCain has insulted all women by making a mockery of the VP office with her. He could have asked Condi, Kay Baily, Snow, etc. Instead he get this know nothing.

She avoided real discussion on lots of answers.

Pinnochio Palin is a parrot of the failed Bush policies when she knows them.

Since a few months ago she's is on the record as saying "I don't know what the VP does" Larry Kudlow interview, why didn't she blink and ask some questions before accepting? This woman is on a power trip–no that's scary!

Poodle Face (love that moniker, by the way):
No, it's not that he asked tough questions, in fact I didn't think they were all that tough and frankly, I expected tougher. there's nothing wrong with being a christian. it's wrong for "christians" to use God to fight wars he would never approve of. McCain and Palin are going to take us straight through the end of the new testament and that's horrible. WWIII is gonna happen if they get into office. She's crazy and yes she did talk in circles. as soon as i watched the interview i was confused. she always "answered" every question in a nonsensical way. at least out of obama you get straight answers. and to those of you small minded people picking on his name, it's not like he named himself. his parents choose that for him.

  77. 277

It's not a crime. Our country was founded on religious freedom. Taking one's particular religion and trying to let it shape the entire country's foreign policy is an scary problem. It's also an issue when you let your religion shape your ideas of the rights of citizens, like in the case of gay marriage. Religion is fine, but all you crazy conservatives seem to forget about separation of church and state. You remind me of the Radical Muslims.

  81. 281

SHe didn't SAY that, and if you'd not watched an EDITED version where they tried to make her look bad- you'd have seen that. And btw, God tells Obama GOD DAMN AMERICA. I'd prefer her message.

Or maybe he was getting frustrated with her lack of knowledge on important issues. I know I'm frustrated. I had hope for her but she is not ready to do anything in the White House. She can't even pronounce nuclear and we want her to be in charge of them? No thank you. McCain did a piss poor job in choosing her as his VP.

  86. 286

  87. 287

That is unbelievable. You say that Palin just "jibber jabbers"….have you ever actually listened to Barack Osama. You can hear him talk talk talk but he never says anything. She has more experience than either one on the democratic ticket and she would be a better president than Barack would. If you love this country and want it to get better then vote Republican sorry not everyone should be on welfare!!

  88. 288

Re: gabbyNashville – Yes, McCain is indeed old. However, his mama is well into her 90s and looks pretty fantastic.

Frankly, Ronald Reagan was a very old president and it didn't stop him from being one of the best presidents this country has ever seen. Personally, I think McCain still has a lot of "fight" left in him and I'm not going to let his age or his vice presidential pick stop me from voting for him.

  89. 289

If you listen closely to this fucking crazy bitch she says she wants to go to and stay in war as long as possible. All of her views are completely absurd. Wake up American people. No, she is not pretty either, she looks like a librarian going through mid-life crisis.

Re: _Alice_ – the "nucular" thing is regional vernacular, in some areas they just say it like that
    .
    like "yo, 'sup bitch?"
    .
or " I axed you tuh shut yo mouf"

Re: gabbyNashville – By the way, this statement isn't true. If you want to give examples of bad economy, look at when Jimmy Carter was president. By the way, Barack Obama = Jimmy Carter. There are NO fundamental differences in their policies. Carter was one of the worst presidents we've had. Obama will be exactly the same.

Re: audacity of crap – Nobody said believing in God is a crime. God just has no place in politics.

Credit goes to Gibson for selecting the right questions, which were far weightier than the campaign minutiae he reveled in during the Democratic primary debates, and more importantly for adopting a serious tone that became vaguely condescending — with sighs, a twitching foot, interruptions — only when impatience was justified. Palin surely would love to cancel two additional interviews scheduled with Gibson this weekend. But such a move would only compound her public humiliation. More likely, she'll be told to keep her future answers extremely short in an attempt to get this mess over with as soon as possible.

she did a fantastic job answering those questions. all the liberal media wants to do is get a clip of her saying something that they disagree with so they can replay it over and over to make her look bad.
