Did you watch part one of Charlie Gibson's interview on ABC with Sarah Palin on Thursday night????

We felt like we were watching a lady version of George W. Bush, only she's more eloquent and fuckable.
Like many politicians, instead of giving straight answers at times, Sexy Sarah would just jibber jabber.
In fact, at one point during the interview, Charlie Gibson said to the GOP VP pick, "I got lost in a blizzard of words there. Is that a yes?"
If the GOP somehow manages to snag the presidency, let's hope that John McCain stays well.
With Sarah in power, looks like there's a chance that 'God' could will us to go to war with Russia, Iran and Pakistani terrorists all at the same time.
you guys also have the right to know that Sarah Palin's "joy" at her daughter's pregnancy is a big, fat lie to the public.

She did a lot of "bobbing and weaving", talking around the issues.
She looked very angry through most of the interview–her jaw was clenched nearly the whole time.
This is odd—but she was not wearing any hosiery.
Also, she cannot pronounce the word nuclear–god that makes me crazy–another Bush.

Sarah Palin never said that a war was "God's will". She simply asked that we pray we are doing "God's will" as we are working in other countries. Claiming to know that something is Gods will and asking to pray that we are lead in the right direction, are two completely different things. Sarah is a Christian as are most of the people in this country. That doesn't mean we are all lunatics. We simply have certain beliefs and values, as I'm sure you do too. And I'm not making a joke. Everyone has some system of values, whether they're based on a god or something else. Why don't you go twist some of Obama's words. You'd get some far more controversial results.

2. Her "foreign" experience is Canada and Mexico - my 14 yr old daughter has been to more "foreign lands" - Is my daughter qualified to take on Pakistan, Russia, Iran, etc…?

So what if Alaska is responsible for 20% of all the energy…how on earth does that in itself, give a person 'National Security' experience. Again, she said "ENERGY IS THE FOUNDATION OF NATIONAL SECURITY." GIVE ME A BREAK. SHE IS CLEARLY DELUSIONAL. ONE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ANOTHER.
6. She has NEVER even said "hello" to any other Head of State.

Great description of Charlie Gibson. A disapproving father or school principal.He seemed angry at her, as if she'd done something wrong and he was going to teach her a lesson. He's much different when interviewing other political figures. He'd be lighter interviewing Ahmadinejad. Very disappointing, because I like Charlie. Now I'm thinking he's just like the rest.
Sarah needs to go back to school. I know more than she does about foreign policy and have more foreign travel experience and I'm a SOCIAL WORKER.

I'd say a VP for President of the USA is just one of those appropriate occasions where hose should be worn. It does take more time to put on and they are uncomfortable, but it shows class to put them on. The ladies you referred to that don't wear hose are in a different class altogether and not because they don't wear hose. Anyway, Oprah is just too heavy with her canckles to be able to put them on. Even Joe Namath had the good sense to know when to wear them.

It's not a crime. Our country was founded on religious freedom. Taking one's particular religion and trying to let it shape the entire country's foreign policy is an scary problem. It's also an issue when you let your religion shape your ideas of the rights of citizens, like in the case of gay marriage. Religion is fine, but all you crazy conservatives seem to forget about separation of church and state. You remind me of the Radical Muslims.

Frankly, Ronald Reagan was a very old president and it didn't stop him from being one of the best presidents this country has ever seen. Personally, I think McCain still has a lot of "fight" left in him and I'm not going to let his age or his vice presidential pick stop me from voting for him.

Credit goes to Gibson for selecting the right questions, which were far weightier than the campaign minutiae he reveled in during the Democratic primary debates, and more importantly for adopting a serious tone that became vaguely condescending — with sighs, a twitching foot, interruptions — only when impatience was justified. Palin surely would love to cancel two additional interviews scheduled with Gibson this weekend. But such a move would only compound her public humiliation. More likely, she'll be told to keep her future answers extremely short in an attempt to get this mess over with as soon as possible.
