In a new interview the Pennsylvania gal said:
"If I were writing a letter to Sarah Palin it would be a lot of whys and hows. Who are you? Do you know? Why do you hate animals? Please point out Iraq on a map …"
"This woman hates women. She is not a feminist. She is not the woman that's going to come behind Hillary Clinton and do anything that Hillary Clinton would've been capable of … I can't imagine overturning Roe vs. Wade. She's not of this time. The woman terrifies me."

I am sick and tired of hearing people talking about how Republicans are going to over-turn Roe v. Wade. As those who understand the way government and the Constitution work, even if Roe v. Wade is overturned, abortion would not be outlawed. It would then be up to each individual state to decide how they would deal with the issue. One would think that liberals would like this seeing as they have more of a say in the way their country is run, instead of 9 old men and women making the decision for them. To sit there and say this just shows that famous people do not know what they are talking about and prove they are only pretty face. At least George Clooney had it right when he said that he was going to stay away from making stupid comments, because it cost Kerry the last election. Keep the ignorant comments coming.

Should celebs tell people what to think? No. Does their support lend credibility to the candidate's campaign? Not necesserily. However, when you look at the extensive list of intelligent, talented actors backing Barack Vs. the short list of Celebs for McCain (i.e. Daddy Yankee, Spencer and Heidi) it really says something doesn't it?

I don't think roe v. wade will be overturned anytime soon, no matter who's in office… so don't worry Pink. But I do think that Palin sets a great example for women and working mothers out there with disabled children. Plus the fact that her daughter is willing to raise her child and not terminate the pregnancy is admirable.

I have no problem with religion but I'm nervous about her being able to keep her religion out of her politics. Or if that's even possible? Her religion seems to be her lifestyle. I was simply trying to point out that celebrities as a whole represent a small portion of the U.S. and among the most intelligent, i.e. Natalie Portman, are staunch Obama voters–thus they're input can't always be hyped up to celebrity fodder.

Yes, time and time again Sarah Palin continues to demonstrate her lack of ethics, knowledge and integrity. Yes, she is an aggressive female, which is fine, but she rides on her spunk & showmanship, which is not what politics is about. Re: Sweetiepie – Do you realize that Roe V. Wade will NEVER be overturned! Why? Because the Republicans NEED it in place (in some form) to keep their base fired up and intact. Should Roe V. Wade be overturned, the Religious Right would have no reason to show up and vote. Roe galvanizes the troups. Politicians know most of the country is Pro-choice to some degree and the people will have the final say.
Abortion should NOT be decided in the courts anyway. Neither should Gay rights or the right to commit assisted suicide. All of these issues should get kicked back to the states where the people can elect officials to VOTE on them on their behalf. That is why the U.S. is a republic (not a democracy as so many of you probably belive). Letting state governments decide on social issues ultimately gives us more control over our destiny than leaving important social issues up to appointed Supreme Court justices who were NEVER elected by the people. Enough of this "ruling from the bench" on important social issues. I agree with McCain…give the power BACK to the people to vote on issues…no more ruling from the bench.

It was a gamble, but if women are so naive to switch sides simply because Palin is female, then they were never serious about Hillary.
