According to a new report, terrorists have proclaimed that they'd harm Sir Paul McCartney if he moves forward with his upcoming - first ever - concert in Israel.
Extremists have threatened that they'd unleash suicide bombers Macca's way should he go on with his Israel plans.
A self-styled preacher of hate named Omar Bakri claimed that the former Beatle’s decision to take part in the concert, which is part of the Jewish state’s 60th anniversary celebrations, had made him an enemy of all Muslims.
Insiders report that Sir Paul was shocked but refused to be intimidated.

Wow…is that concert really worth it?
The Middle Eastern countries, as always, are basically fanatical lunatics. Can we please become independent of them - once and for all? They defy common sense and civility. If it wasn't for their oil reserves, it would be great to sever ties with them altogether.

Israel is one of the safest countries on earth due to their security forces. Yes, they have the ocassional bombings, which make the news, but they don't have a lot of petty crimes, muggings, etc. You and your bags are searched whenever you go into a high density area, such as a club or festival. Their borders are really secure.
What Paul should worry about is when he leaves. If people are holding a grudge, he should be more concerned when he goes back to England.

What right do Islamic EXTREMISTS have to tell Paul McCartney where to play and threaten him for not doing what they want? I think it only fitting that Macca goes to Isreal, being scared off by a 'self-styled preacher of hate' doesnt cut it, specially considering that in the famous words of the BEATLES they preached….. he'll be safe. i have been to israel twice and they have more security in malls and on the streets than in america. and idf (israel army) are trained to make sure that nothing happens. and when israel wants something to be safe they make sure it is.

Re: Samsuma – At this point, the Israelis should give the land back to the Palestinians? That is about as logical as suggesting we give all the land back to the native Americans. Where will all the Israeli people go? And if you want to blame anyone for giving the land to the Jewish people, blame the British. They screwed up the land partitioning of the middle east beyond belief.
So, moving on, what needs to happen? Perhaps if the stated goal of the Muslim world ceases to be pushing every last Jew into the sea, things might change, attitudes might soften. At this point, the land is settled, so it is not going to revert to a Palestinian paradise.

Historically Israel is a stolen country from the Palestinians.. it is rightfully theirs… just like how america is a stolen country from the Natives. Re: Mehdi – Just to give you a little background, the Israelis never stole the land from the Palestinians. The piece of land now known as Israel belonged to the Jews thousands of years ago. That's a historical fact. The only reason they left that land was because they were forced to, by people like the Babylonians who invaded their country. So, in reality, the Israelis just took back what was their's to begin with. Please do a little research before spouting off your opinions.

I was curious about this whole palestinian/israeli conflict so i decided to do some research to kind of figure out who the land belonged to first historically and which nation killed more in war and I came across some info on wikipedia that I thought was heartbreaking… go here and scroll down to the casualties charts.. the numbers are insane, especially the killing of CHILDREN… you don't see a lot of Israeli casualties under 18 but the palestinian kids murdered by israelies made me very sad.. being a mother I just couldn't bear it

The Palestinians were the sacrificial lambs. Based on the principle that the jews were there first, then give back the whole territory of the USA to the aboriginal people, they were there first.
