Hilary Duff has just dropped the first single from her upcoming Greatest Hits album.
It's a song called Reach Out, and it features a sizeable sample from Depeche Mode's Personal Jesus.
We really like it!
The song - a dancey tune - probably won't get much play in America but it should do quite well for The Duffster in Europe and overseas.

i love it! for a remix, this is great! so catchy, and such a good dance/club song. it's not like she's going for a grammy or anything! it's a good song, i saw pictures of her shooting the video already, so expect that soon!

Anyone can make an album due to today's studio technology, paris hilton, lindsey lohan, heidi montag, hillary duff etc. imagine comes first talent last. I understand her record labels reasoning to sign disney artists, knowing they have a built in audience (albeit temporary) of young impressionable children that they can make money off, where truly musically talented kids are being dropped left and right from labels.
Oh look, another fucking douche stealing the iconic phrase of Reach Out Touch Faith. The sad part is 90% of the ignorant generation will no doubt love it and not think twice about how much it sucks ass.
Ingredients for a hit song:
Step 1. Take your current age, divide by two, that's your target audience age.
Step 2. Take your current age, divide by two and take a song from that many years ago and rip it to anal shredding shit.
Step 3. Get some hip hop sounding moron with tons of reverberation/echo to repeat bullshit.
Step 4. Mash it all together, bake in steamy ass until shit is ripe.
Step 5. Spray that shit all over the internet in hopes that simple minded fucks would cloud around it and praise it for being such a new and refreshing piece of shit.
It's times like these that I wish Martin Gore and Dave Gahn would just go ape shit and beat the living shit out of her and everyone involved with the creation of this masterpiece of shit. Maybe then all these talentless losers would stop using other peoples songs to propel their own image. On that note, Tacos for everyone!

Her best graduated material yet. i love the song. It's a lot more appealing then SOS was. She has the sex appeal going on in her voice, unlike five-head Rihanna. Besides, this isn't the original version. So expect her ACTUAL first single to be great! Love you Hil. By the way, this track is one Lindsay would have killed for on her third upcoming album.

Yeah this really sucks…and I say that having really wanted to like it. It is completely overproduced because it sound like a mash up someone made of "Tainted Love" and "Personal Jesus", with the alternate lyrics (think Jessica Simpson circa 2007 with "You Spin Me Round (Like A Record)"). It doesn't make me want to do upside down splits on the dance floor and let all the bois spit on my snatch like "Gypsy Woman". And I don't come out of it feeling like a desensitized whore like I did with "Dignity". Besides, why the fuck is she releasing another goddamn "Greatest Hits" when she only put out one album since the last compilation!?
