It's finally Sexy Sarah's first big day on her own!
Like Sadie Sandler a preschooler armed with mother's sack lunch, Palin ventured to the swing-state of Colorado on her first trip outside of her home state without McCain.
The recently selected vice presidential candidate and current governor, who can boast only limited experience outside of Alaska, was held from view while aides rushed to update her on a variety of issues.
Now remember, if ever you should falter, just remind everyone that you're a woman!!!!

Palin spoke mainly on the issues of energy, government reform, and helping families with special needs, as Palin's four-month-old son has Down Syndrome, and the crowd cheered when she declared, "too often the government is the problem" rather than the solution. Yeah, like when it restricts stem cell research, which advocates claim could be the key to unlocking treatments and cures to numerous diseases.
Sexy Sarah also claimed that Obama's proposals to raise income, payroll, investment income, business, and death taxes is "not the way you grow the economy," but independent groups such as the Tax Policy Center concluded that four out of five American households would actually receive tax breaks. She declared her support for McCain's "'above all' strategy for energy independence." In other words, drilling Alaska for all its worth.
Palin said McCain liked her idea of placing Washington's checkbook online, so "everyone can see where their money goes," just like she did in Alaska.
That’s cute, but honey, it ain't dark in Washington half the year like it is in Alaska.

Sarah comes from one of the biggest oil states in this country so if anyone could figure a way to lower the price of gas it would be her not Barack “Hussein” Obama! If you actually listen and DID you research as you say you do you would know that he would have gave his life for our country to make sure we can all sit here and talk shit about what’s wrong in America. While we all sat here safe in our homes and complain about how bad we have it John McCain had both of his arms broke and was tortured so we could continue to live with the freedom to talk shit and come and go as we please. I have yet to decide who I will vote for, as we all know this is an incredibly important decision. Not just this race, but all presidential races. That's why I believe it is important to do more than just listen to the news, or bloggers that are completely skewed to one candidate or the other.
I love that we can blog about everything, including politics on this site. However, when you have influence over others opinions, you have a moral responsibility to completely EDUCATE YOURSELF FIRST.

I think if you really want to get an education, you have to listen to everyone who posts on these sites and others (sometimes, and no offense Perez, posters on this particular site are a little childish)… because you can really filter out who is stating facts and who is just repeating what they overheard their parents talking about, or quoting from the Bible, or something. There are too many lies and exhaggerations during this election time that it's so difficult to see what is real and what is not. But still, I highly doubt that McCain's website is stating the truth. In fact, I've come to realize that he cares more about losing his integrity than losing this election, and if you cannot see that, you truly need an "education."

For those interested… I found a new non-partisan site I really like. It's called "opensecrets" (org) and it tracks where the money goes in politics. Very enlightening. For instance, did you realize that out of 354 legislators, Obama is the NUMBER TWO recipient of money from individuals and PACs? McCain is on the list as well, but much further down.

There is a conservative site, marklevinshow (com), that printed Palin's interview with Gibson in its entirety. If it's true, it shows she is not nearly the "warmonger" ABC portrayed her to be, and talked about the need for diplomacy over and over.

what "honest" people do you know that believe in the bible for your so called "gain money, power and control!" i think you are mistaken and the only religion/book (if thats what you want to call it) that Ive seen is the stupid "secret" bull. everyone that i know if they believe in it or not struggles. no mater which way you look at it. i pray every morning, day, and night and i live paycheck to paycheck, not to mention i just found out that i will be expecting in January and the father of my child has decided to leave and disown us. so this "gain money, power and control!" i don't believe that nor no anyone who does, granted i did not always believe but i have seen things that most would pass by. you can believe in it or not.

I am very sorry that you have to deal with the stress of a baby on the way and a man that cannot take responsibility. I have been very blessed in that way having gotten pregnant and married at 17 and still going strong in my marriage of 13 almost 14 years. I am just a firm believer that churches all across the world use fear and hate (sin and go to hell and gays are condemned by god, give me your paycheck-catholic and mormon churches for the later of the 3) to get control over peoples lives. I am a firm believer in creating ones own destiny and the power of intention! (check out Dr. Wayne Dyer) you don't need a priest,preacher,congregation or whatever to have faith and most of the religious people I know condemn people for not going to "church". When I go, I feel no love in the building only judgment and horror at the things being said to fuel the fire. If you do some real historical research ie…before christians were here you will find some very amazing facts about how the church came in and took over. They teach you not to think for yourself but to listen to what they TELL you! And sadly most followers, follow blindly. Good Luck to you and your baby~

Third word countries do not supply the US with oil and Palin is incorrect in saying Alaska supplies 20% of our oil. Alaska supplies 3% of our oil. AS for drilling to each his own. If Brazil can run on ethanol and live oil independent why can't we? Why can't we ressurrect our dying agricultural industry put farmers back in the black and switch to fuel efficient cars? Who does it hurt to do that? The US currently still refuses to sign the Kyoto protocol b/c we put out a lot of shnit into our atmosphere.And Palin doesn't even believe global warming is a reality. As for her stance on gays I haven't read enough credible info on her but in regards to women I find it shameful she makes rape victims pay for their own rapekits although we have laws aganst victims footing the bill for a crime against them and she lies a/b telling Congress thanks but no thanks on the bridge and kept the earmarks supports abstinence only programs and cuts funding for teen moms SHe listed the Jet on Ebay but it wasn't sold on Ebay, it sold at a loss and she left Alaskans in debt w/ her ice rink.
