Because the nerds at 4Chan (aka "Anonymous") did it again, hacking into vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin's personal email account used for official Alaska business. And guess what?
She's a Yahoo!
But we already knew that.
There are a couple personal emails, but unfortunately, no correspondences with underage interns.
When the Secret Service asked The Associated Press to hand over the emails, the AP told the Men in Black hell no. The McCain campaign said they were shocked at the invasion of privacy, hoping that anyone in possession of the emails would destroy them.
Yeah right!
The issue raises questions about using personal nongovernmental email accounts for government business.
It's a little shady!
One of the emails we found amusing is an exchange between Palin and Amy B. McCorkell - whom Palin appointed to an advisory board concerning drug and alcohol abuse - reassuring the governor not to "let the bad press get you down!"
Awww, we hope they were talking about us.
The emails also revealed Todd Palin's handle as "fek9wnr," referring to the Iron Dog snowmobile race in Alaska. As well as Bristol Palin's phone number.

The purpose of the Roe vs. Wade to begin with was to help stop all the back alley abortions that were taking place because it was illegal in a lot of states… I don't understand what the big deal is. Just like when Whoppi asked if she should be concerned about being forced back into slavery because according to the consitution it was legal… Some things have to be changed in the constitution because of the changing times. I know that her questioning the whole slavery thing is a long shot, and you can jump all over me for it, but I understand where she is coming from. If the power is put back into the states hands as McCain is suggesting, I see a whole heck of a lot more states making it illegal than legal and am afraid that we will regress into a time when women were risking their lives to abort a baby under unsafe conditions. That is my concern… And all the pro-lifers can go ahead and say then that's their problem and maybe they deserve it for wanting to kill a baby or whatever, but I'm trying to look at this from an objective standpoint!!

Re: dancingmom – But what you're missing is that the Constitution says nothing about abortion (whereas slavery is expressly prohibited by the 13th Amendment) — there is no constitutional right for a woman to have an abortion. Roe v. Wade reads the imaginary right abortion into the constitution using all kinds of faulty logic and reasoning. That's why Roe v. Wade is bad law and should be overturned, regardless of where you fall on the abortion debate.

Some people have commented that her personal business is government business because she is in public office. That would mean that Bill Clinton/Monica Lewinsky saga isn't a personal matter since he was President at the time. You guys are splitting hairs and it will get neither side of the argument far.
Accessing an email account, which isn't yours without authorization, is the same as opening someone's mail. Both are federal and felony crimes. The responsible party will be serving jail time. In this situation the real moron is the person who hacked. For a few meaningless emails he/she will be sitting in prison with a felony charge on their record for the rest of his/her life. This means that they will lose the right to vote by the way.
I understand that some people do not like Palin but saying that she got what she deserved is outright stupid. Many of the people who leave comments are truly uninformed. I won't say stupid, simply misguided.

Or Sarah Palin, saying that you can see Russia from Alaska, making her able to claim foreign experience; or how she lied about her teleprompter issues and that she may have SADs, which has symptoms including being unmotivated, short tempered and inconsistent decision making.

Hussein is one of the most common Muslim names in the world. His father was Muslim, but Barack has been Christian since he was a toddler.
