Now that the Jerry Seinfeld “phase” is out of the way, expect to see Eva Longoria, Pharrell, and famed Indian doc Deepak Chopra in the new Microsoft commercials.
The new ad featuring Eva, Pharrel and the doc directly attack Apple’s “I’m a Mac, I’m a PC” ads that portray the PC as boring and out of touch.
They reportedly also seek to counter Apple’s ‘elitist’ vibe by featuring everyday PC users, such as scientists and teachers.
Sounds like a political ad!!
According to a new report, someone at Microsoft’s ad agency, Crispin Porter and Bogusky, said that another ad featuring the Seinfeld and Bill Gates had already been filmed, but the company had decided not to broadcast it (cuz it probably sucked hard too!).
We saw the new Microsoft ad during the Emmys.
Did you see it?
We remember Eva and her husband, Tony Parker, in the ad (they were chilling on chaise lounges), but we don’t remember seeing Pharrel or Chopra.
