I live in Atlanta, and I've never encountered a racist Korean person. The people I have met are always nice. Maybe, I'm just lucky. I hope it stays that way, because I love Korean entertainment. Anyway, I've seen the comment that "Koreans are racist" pop up on a few blogs, usually Kpop blogs, but the comments usually reference the older generations. The comments I'm reading here are just sick and the worst I've ever seen. I think it's sad that when exposed to a different cultures people revert to using racist comments. How can you call someone racist, when you are being racist yourself?

A lot of Korean, Japanese, Taiwanese, and Chinese musical groups have English names. Since they speak multiple languages, they utilize it. Stop being culturally unaware. GET OUT MORE.

OH AND EVERYONE: before you start bashing on Koreans and their music, know that the record holder for the largest registered fan base IN THE WORLD is Dong Bang Shin Ki (DBSK/TVHQ), and they're a Korean group. So wouldn't that technically mean that Korean music is more well-liked than others? Just a thought to ponder :]

And to you people who think Koreans are racist…well, you do have a bit of a point. As a Korean-American, I do feel ostracized at many times. But JYP is an English-speaking producer who has worked and collaborated with TONS of American artists (Lil' Jon, Cassie, and Will Smith to name a few), and is helping non Korean Asians debut. He's pretty amazing.

To all those ignorant people who are confused as to why a Korean group would have an English name and English lyrics, you really oughta get out more. We -Americans- are probably the worst when it comes to learning foreign language. Some of us -like myself- barely passed Spanish classes in HS, and the truth is we only survive in Spanish-spoken countries because THEY speak of bit of English, not vice versa. And when most of us go to places like Asia, we barely know how to say, 'hi.' But Countries like Korea may not be able to speak English fluently, most of them can read and write with grade level comprehension. To make things short, a simple name of a phrase like "Wonder Girls" and "I want nobody else but you" are understood with ease in Korea. Before you quetion why Korean group would have an English name to begin with, you have to question why you're so dumb and stupid.
